What a happy wonderful person, grades fairly, take notes and review her study guides for the test and you will do fine, there is extra credit which can really help you out, doesn't give you a huge work load, finally had a enjoyable class, stress-free!

Lou Ann wants everyone to perform to his or her full potential. Lecture quizzes are based on her lecture materials. You have to write 2 papers; include all sections required for an A (in syllabus). She also gives you an opportunity to earn 15 points extra credit you just have to write 3 more 1 page papers.

Over the course of this class, we had 4 tests, 2 papers, and occasionally some class activities. As long as you regularly review your lecture notes , you should do just fine on the tests. The papers were not hard either, just follow the rubric she gives you and don't write it the night before its due! She gives you plenty of time to turn in papers.

TAKE HER CLASS, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. I LEARNED SO MUCH AND SHE WANTS STUDENTS TO SUCCED.

Professor Gibson is an AMAZING professor! Her classes fill up so quickly because everyone loves her. Shes great at teaching, always encouraging, loves her students and her grading criteria is very clear. Just pay attention in class, do some reading and youll not only pass but enjoy her class!

I took her class as an honor student. I earned an A. She is super animated with the lectures and it was fun being in her class. When we switched over to online she posted the outline of her lectures which wasn't the same. You will really learn if you pay attention.I did not need to study that much because her lectures were memorable. Easy workload.

SHE IS AN AMAZING TEACHER. SHE TEACHES THE CLASS SO MANY NEW THINGS, SHE ALLOWS STUDENTS TO TALK AND GIVE THEIR OPINION. HER HOMEWORK IS EXTREMELY EASY AND DOESN'T ASSIGN MUCH. HER EXAMS ARE EASY AS WELL, AS LONG AS YOU STUDIED AND READ THE TEXTBOOK. SHE OFFERS STUDY GUIDES FOR EXAMS. ALLOWS YOU TO TAKE AN EXAM IF YOU MISSED ONE. SHE IS JUST GREAT.

I loved this professor, She was one of my first professors for my first semester. Would take her class again & would recommend it to anyone who is looking to take this course. Would definitely recommend this professor to anyone!

I LOVED THIS PROFESSOR! She was very kind, and her lectures were very easy to understand for exams. She gives you plenty of time to complete papers and offers extra credit. By far one of my favorite professors at Mesa!!

Professor Gibson was so kind and inspiring with her feedback. She has great opportunities for extra credit and even though I'm not a great test taker I was still able to get an A in the class. I took the online course and she engages so much with us on our assignments and papers. I really wish I had the chance to take her course in person.

Prof. Gibson's Child Dev. 101 was a great introduction/gen-ed class. I thought I wouldn't be too interested in the class, but it was interesting, especially for those who are interested in becoming a teacher, working with kids, or learning about people with special needs! There are 2 big papers that you must do, or they will affect your grade!

very nice teacher and is always ready to help you with possible. lots of reading, but very interesting topics that never felt boring. weekly quizzes, two term papers, one final exam. overall you'll get an A if you do the assignments. wish I could take again, very interesting for majors that will work with people.
