Funny as hell! Keeps you entertained and awake! A bit of a ****, but it's funny stuff! Good class to take.

Talks about himself half the time, tests are half definition - I kid you not! Tests are generally easy - final is optional - he discourages kids from taking it so he has less to grade. Final not that hard tho. Going to lectures a must. Test ?s off of

You will NEVER cheat in this class but you won't need too. He's very fair and tells you exactly what you need to do well. Psych majors who complain that he talks too much about himself are hypocrits. He is so interesting, the academic thrill of my day.

He's a great teacher who explains everything very clearly. His tests are fair and he's a fair grader. He's also BIG on definitions; there were like 10 on every test. As long as you memorize his definiions and rules, you'll do fine!

One word to describe him: SEXY!! he's a great teacher as well. You'll learn a lot of lessons in life that in the end all apply to math in some way...

Best professor ever... he complains about his hotness rating, so i gave him a plus... the class is alot of joking, very entertaining; but it's amazing... for all the goofing around he does, we actually learn!

O man, this guy is great. The class is literally 40% Stat and 60% him telling crazy stories. But the kicker is he's fair...just don't get him mad.

His style of teaching is very to-the-point, and easy to understand. If you're ever gonna take stat, take it with him.

Bianco will tell you the most amazing stories about his life of telling people to go screw, oh yeah and he can teach pretty well at the same time!

Prof. Bianco is one of the best educators at BU. The best way to describe him is FAIR... do the hw he assignes (not much) and you will do extremely well in his class. Even if you think you arent good at math, Prof. Bianco will change your attitude. FUN

loooots of stories, which are somewhat interesting, somewhat a waste of time, but when he gets to actually teaching math it's easy to understand and verrrry easy to do well if you have any knowledge of math

Professor Bianco is one of the best teachers I have ever had in my academic career. He has true passion for statistics and is always willing to help his students. As long as students attend his lectures and do the homework they will be fine!

I love this man. I want him to sit in my backpack and come everywhere with me. He's an amazing teacher and so passionate about this subject that it prompted me to consider a minor in Stat, which I'm doing. I tell you: I LOVE THIS MAN.

This is the first math class where I actually knew what I was doing. He is the first professor who knew how to explain the concepts clearly. Plus, you should come to the class just for his stories. His stories are not to be missed!

FAIR. Go to class, study your notes and you will be fine. Hes a good guy, tells lots of stories, and that is distracting but they are great stories. DEF has opinions, but also a good heart and really cares. Bianco is a TEACHER

He is one of the best professors at BU. Very straightforward and teaches Stats in an clear. His stories and comments are great and make time fly by quickly.

He is a interesting and genuine guy,I appreciate the ways he believes in life...I have heard a lot of personal stories in his lecture(hope they r all true). The pace is a bit fast when he covers the academic stuff.

Prof Bianco is very intelligent. He teaches his stuffs well. He also tells tons of his personal story in the class and makes the class fun. I wanna have him forever!! Strongly recommend his class.

loved his lectures...often goes off on a tangent and tells self-glorifying stores, but it's amusing. Tests are always clear and straight-forward. Would definitely take another class with him. Didn't do any of the homeworks but still got A-.

Very opinionated and can be really funny. He says he "knows his Sh*t" and he really does. He also killed his neighbor's cat. Ask him.

The class is a very good class. The material is not very difficult and he makes all of the topics very clear during his lectures. He does tell a lot of stories, but they are funny. I highly recommend this class.

Bianco is a great teacher. His stories are hilarious and really help the time in class fly by, while still being able to cover the necessary material. I fully recommend taking him for 113 as long as you can get up for an 8am class.

Awesome prof, goes at a good pace, and his stories make the class fun. Sometimes his jokes go just a bit too far (can get a little rude), but he's a good guy, and most people love him and his jokes.

Took both MA213 & 214. Great prof. He makes stats easy! Just remember HIS def. and notes and you will ace the exam. Do well on 3 midterms, no final! His stories are great, but if you're taking him again you will notice that he tells the same stories.

Dude is ****ing nuts, but the class is helpful if you do the work and go to lecture... i didnt do either so i didnt do very well in the class...

He's a lot of fun and tries to make stats interesting. So classes are 20% material and 80% his stories. OK grader..he'll bump up your average (so you wont take the final) cause, as he puts it, "he doesnt want to be stuck grading stupid exams on break

Tells & repeats amusing stories, sometimes causing material to be crammed in at end of lecture in his illegible writing. Wants things done his way only; no final if you take 3 midterms. TF was socially awkward but clear & helpful. Fun class overall

Good professor. Presents material in logical and clear way. attend class, discussion and do homework, you shouldn't have a problem. Only complaint is he is hard to get ahold of if you ARE having a problem because he also teaches at another university.

Great! If you don't mind his foul language. You can get lost in his lectures though if you like space out, you'll not find your way back. But all in all he's awesome.

Grear prof! He has great stories to keep you entertained and you can still come out with a good grade to pull up your GPA. Bianco is the man.

He tells a lot of stories, which are sometimes innappropriate but kee you laughing and engaged. If you study definitions and class notes, you don't need to study the text book to do well. Very fair class...if you study ....easy grader

I admit, he's hard to like in the beginning, but Bianco really does grow on you after the first couple weeks. His stories are there to keep you awake (which is needed at 8am). Wants students to learn, lectures well. He's retiring though.

If you have ever wondered what a true teacher is like you should have met this guy. He is a bit quarky but its math and he somehow kept MATH from being boring. Thanks Bianco you are the man!!

Excellent teacher and was one of the only teachers I have had here who actually cared about all of his students, even though there were about 200 of them.

The man is a genius! He's so helpful to all his students and always cracks jokes. He is hilarious but knows his stuff. Everyone enjoys his humour in class and he's one of my favorite professors this year.

My first impression was that he was **** and crazy. The first test was very, very hard, the class average was a C-. After a couple of weeks I gained a new found respect for him. He genuinely cares for his students. I went to office hours and he really helped. He wants his students to succeed, and if you put in the effort, you will be rewarded.

Prof. Bianco is a kindhearted and hilarious man. People give him so much grief for trying to liven up and entertain students who don't necessarily like math. I hate statistics and Prof. Bianco is the only reason I am not pulling my hair out. He's a genuinely nice man who cares about his students and helps you in any way he can.

A hard class but Bianco is awesome! He understands that we all hate math and does everything he can to keep us interested. Genuinely cares about his students. People have given him a hard time, but honestly (besides being a challenge) this is the best math class I've ever had.

I really hate math and I am TERRIBLE at stats. I ended up getting an A in the class since I studied the vocab and listened when he said "This WILL BE on the TEST". It is pretty simple do the homework questions, study vocab and you will easily get an A. Those that didn't were doing NOTHING but complaining about him. Seriously get your act together.
