Really good professor, not hard what-so-ever. Easy grader, and fair.

Good professor. Had him for public speaking over the summer. Was informative and really showed you techniques to improve public speaking. I thought the class was boring, but I think thats just the material, not the professor.

May not be the most fun class, but you will get a lot out of the professor. Very clear and an easy grader.

prof. Dell'omo is a very good teacher. He will tell you exactly what you should or should not be doing when speaking in public or giving a presentation. He is very fair with grading. everything he has taught me I have used in other classes. thanks!

easy class easy tests... I got an A by simply doing what was asked of me.

I had this prof over the summer for Public Speaking. And he was the Best Prof I have ever had at MCC. I totally recommened this prof. He is very knowlegable and he know what he is doing and what he wants from his students. I had a BLAST in his class.

Prof. D. is the best teacher. His classes are graded in a variety of ways, i.e. essays, tests, quizzes, etc. If you excel in writing and are poor at test taking, you will stil be able to get a good grade. He makes class fun!

great class/great teacher. If you want to learn how to win an argument and be a good debator take his class. It is really fun (a lot of group work) and challenges you to think about your opinions.

This guy is so awesome.

I like it when he talks about the radio station he works at. He's just as good at teaching all of his classes as he is on the radio.

Prof. D is great! I learned so much in 4wks. When I started 4wks ago, although Im out going, I hated talking in front of an audience. I now feel alot better! He is fair, articulate and serious. He really gave us our money's worth! He's a good prof. and a good dj! Thanx prof D!!! Definately recommend him!

Gino D is the Man. All of his assignments are extremely easy. Very Easy Grader. If u do all the work assigned, u should have no problem with any of his classes whatsoever. I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND GINO D!!!!!

Incredibly amazing professor. I highly recommend him. Wonderful man, very nice, great at teaching, extremely helpful, and keeps you interested. He tells you what he wants and grades fairly. Not to mention, he is very good looking.

Professor Dell is great. If you are a comm major he is not only helpful and full of information to help you in the major but his classes are very entertaining and easy. So if you are majoring in comm and don't take him let's see then "Your Crazy" hehe

I had him for a winter class and he understands that it's a lot to learn in a short amount of time. He was very helpful and easy going. you learn a lot from him that you will use in all your courses when you have to speak in front of the class. Def. suggest you take him for public speaking.

Prof. D is awsome. anyone affraid of taking public speaking should def. take him. i was so affraid until i took him. he has an awsome way of making everone feel comfotable. he is so nice. the best public speaking teacher. i got an A. if you have the choice take him you will not regret it.

Professor D is an amazing teacher. i'm a communication major. his tests come straight from the notes. he's very helpful and easygoing. also very funny. i've taken him for all my comm classes at MCC. if you are a comm major or interested in the subject you should definately take him. very informative classes and very fun. i love him as a professor!!

Great teacher. Extremely clear and gives great notes. Reviews are great and if you come to class you should have no problem with him. He's a funny guy too... highly recommended

I never thought communication was more complicated then what it reaslly is. You don't have much time to waste in his class because it is not a gimme class. THe thing I didn't like about the class was that he was very strict on assignment not being late and he needs to loosen up on that. This class is great if you are prompt and not the tardy type.

i took mr. d for 3 classes. he is a great teacher, he makes class interesting and enjoyable. you do take notes all class, but that's directly where the quiz comes from. as long as you take the notes, then are in class for the review youll be fine. hes a great teacher i def recommend him to ANYONE!

Very nice professor. He tends to talk very fast and sometimes you need him to repeat himself. He definitly makes learning interesting and he knows what he is talking about and has plenty of field experience to back it up. Easy homework assignments, quizzes are a little tough but if you study sufficiently you should not have a problem.

His class is easy. Hes an alright professor, but I just didnt think he was extremely good like others did. He gave me an A, but I thought that he seemed full of himself most of the time and seemed to be inlove with the fact that he interviwed celebrities and what not, but overall his class is easy.

Great guy all you really need is the notes from class to go off of and you will do great.

Great teacher, he really knows his stuff. He gives really good clear notes that make it extremely easy to study for quizes. His group project is horrible and you should expect to get nothing better than a B-. Overall, this he's a good teacher, and it was a GREAT class!

Took this class during the summer. Very fun and down to earth professor. Class is straight forward. No book needed. I was not looking forward to this class but I ended up really liking it. =]

Professor D, is the best thing that ever happened to me at MCC. I took him one semester and joined his radio station club. In class his work is not easy and gives a lot of work. Take notes because quizzes and tests depend on it. D will guide you in the right direction if your com major.

Sure, he's full of himself & often corrects students with what they say, but you get past it. He gives you time in class to do the group project, just hope you get put in a good group. Attendance is a must, but he understands if you have dr notes. He gives A LOT of notes, which tests are based off of STUDY them & show him respect & you'll be fine.

Prof, D is the coolest professor ever! In this class be prepared to take notes and work hard because it is not an easy class. His notes is what is on for quizzes and test. He gives be writing assignments especially the journal article and the group project. Be prepared to be grilled with questions for his project. He shows good flicks too.

Now if your a com major and want a career in broadcast radio than take professor D. This is the class that you will learn how to do commercials and many other fun production assignments. He is a fun teacher and will help become a better speaker. Good luck and have fun with D!

Prof. D is one of the best teachers at mcc! If your a comm major def take him. Very easy going and funny guy, makes class interesting. Invovles students in the lesson and does not just lecture. He does have a lot of notes, but the quizes,tests, and hw are very easy. As long as you go to class,youll have an easy A for the semester.

TAKE PROF D!!! he is the best teacher eveerrrr. he is so charismatic and makes everything sooo easy for you to understand. he's interesting to watch and listen to. i have never gotten bored in any of his classes. tests are a peice of cake he basically hands it to you on a silver platter. love him!!

I knew Prof. Dell'Omo prior to this class due to being part of the college radio station, but nontheless, he was a good professor. His notes are pretty straightforward from the textbook & his tests come from both the book & the notes. His papers such as a journal review & dyad project are very hard, but if you do all the work, you will be fine.

I knew Prof. Dell'Omo prior to this class due to being part of the radio station, but nonetheless it was a very fun class. You got to learn all the history of radio and television broadcasting. Unfortunately this class isnt too popular in MCC but I highly recommend it.

prof Dellomo is awesome! attendance is not required but i wouldnt miss a class he gives you lots of info about what you need to know! I learned a lot did my work and got an A! hes great and i highly recommend took his as a prof twice! :)

Awesome guy. Take him for any course he teaches. Suggestion would be to buy a digital recorder. He gives lots of details and examples that may not be in the text. He than uses those example on exams and such. Be detailed oriented! You want to learn, take Prof D !!

For being a morning class he made it interesting, he is crystal clear on what he wants for exams and everything else, its impossible to fail him, you have to be super lazy. I disliked the amount of work because at times it clashed with my other classes but thats college. You do a lot of exercises that help you comprehend concepts.

TAKE HIM!!! Professor Dell'Omo is one of the greatest professors i have ever had! i took him for debate class and it was the greatest class i have ever taken! he's so good that i'm taking him for 2 of my classes next semester. that should tell you something ;)

His grading is not tough as it may sound like on the first day all you need to do is four speeches and outlines for each and also ananylsis on what you thought you could have done better in your speech. Very easy grade!

Mr. D is awesome! He knows his stuff and he's really passionate about it. In class, he's a little outspoken, but I'm sure outside the classroom he goes buckwild! Take his classes

Professor Dell'Omo is a great teacher! I strongly reccomend him to anybody. He is very helpful and tells you what he expects out of you. During the debates, if he asks you a question, it may seem like he is attacking you and that you are going to end up failing, but you'll pass. He always has something interesting to talk about.

D is a great teacher, his class doesn't get languid, he's funny and outspoken. His work load can be much and his tests are killer, but just study the material. The radio station is a whole other venture. If you plan to try the station, realize D takes it seriously being as he is in radio. You need to be readily available for events, slots, etc.

Well, there is much to be said about this Professor, I had him for four semesters of Comm, Mass media, Debate, Intro to Comm. he is patient, funny and passionate about his classes. Study for the test and you will pass with an A, I did!

Awesome, funny, and sarcastic. He is super funny, not too hard, the work takes time and effort. You will pass just study and pay attention. He is great deff recommend him

By far the best professor I've ever had! He was so funny! Even though it was an 8am class, he totally made it worth waking up. The class was so easy, and the tests were everything that was in the notes. As long as you take notes an study them, you'll be fine! TAKE HIM!

I took him during summer classes and I found him to be relatively easy and simple when teaching the material. He's an easy going teacher and will be as leant and he can when grading. I would most defiantely recommend him to future students. TAKE HIM

Took this course during the winter term; very straightforward and the professor was very clear in his expectations, and a very lenient grader of the four speeches that were required. Since the class was only 12 days long, the pace was pretty fast, but definitely doable.

+Fun to talk with, would probably make a great life coach/big brother/father figure. Seems to care about helping students succeed. Euphonic/physically appealing. Usually maintains psychological distance/professionalism. -Overly simplistic assignments/material. Can be easily taken advantage of. Tends to "do the work for" students. Late/preoccupied.

I wouldn't consider this Prof. to be difficult, but don't think you can just sit there and cruise through his class. He does a good job at getting you involved, challenging you & making you think.I recommend this Prof because he actually teaches. If you do your work you will do fine. And for the females he's a breath of fresh air to look at haha!

Super fun, hilarious professor. Easy to follow, easy to listen to and seems to really care about everyone in the class. His PowerPoints are exactly what is on the final. 4 Speeches and the final. If you go to class every day it will reflect on your grade.

This class was not terribly hard, some days were pretty boring but others were very interesting, the assignments and quizzes or tests are not difficult. He is also a nice guy and pretty funny sometimes, I got an A in the class without stressing over the workload

Amazing professor. It was an early morning class, but he made waking up so early worth it. He's clear, easy going, and will make you feel comfortable in his class. Another thing, he's understandable I had a few problem through the semester, and he would always understand whenever I couldn't make it to class. Bottom line, TAKE HIM. It's worth it.

I took him in speech, but it was specifically health & fitness. the class was cool, and he explained and helped us with our speeches. he's definitely a lively lecture, speech talker. he lays out how your speeches should be, and if you follow it you'll be clutch!

he is a great Professor, He will give you a chance for extra credit. the class was fantastic I learned how to debate and use logic for my reason. take him and do not think too much when you make the power points for presentations. and take notes because they are useful. he is fun, but you must explain your reasons whenever he asks you questions

Professor Dell Omo is a great professor, maybe one of the best professors I have ever had. He gives tough tests, but you get a study guide. He is a good professor, gives good material to the class.

I'm so glad that I took this class. Professor Dell'Omo is an excellent public speaking professor. His lectures are something to look forward to, and he really wants the best of his students. Many memorable moments specifically with my class. Definitely take him.

Awesome professor. I find myself applying some of the fallacy concepts we'd learned in his class in real life. Be prepared to be put on the spot by him during cross examinationsknow your stuff. My only regret from his class is that I didn't pair up with a more formidable partner for the Lincoln Douglas debates.

he is not a tough grader if you do what he says. if you are willing to learn something then deff take him! he has so much knowledge and he is so keen on doing his job. honestly I had him for several classes and if you do what he asks for and show that you wanna learn you'll get an A.

he is an awesome professor not to much work but enough to keep u busy i enjoyed the class and he is not that strict on grading would highly recommended

I loved his radio class I took fall 2018 and because of him I hope to intern within the radio station by summer 2019. He is simply amazing and will help you with your vocals, writing and producing inside and outside of class. I loved the class and him as a professor. Textbook is needed, but really you can just borrow one from a friend. Great mentor

A good alternative to the normal public speaking course at MCC. As long as you do the work you should get an A. For the debates he gives you very in depth feedback that you can use for the second time. Very good in class discussions on current issues.

Prof D is so wise and experienced in the COM field. I had him for 105 too and he taught very well - notes straight from textbook & elaborated on, very interactive so participate! Put effort into the class and youll get an A. Hes always providing help if you look for it.

Hes a really well rounded person and knows a lot about a lot. I respect that. Sometimes assignments can be kind of confusing because we dont really take many notes but I love that what he teaches can be applied in everyday life. He explained how to fact check and now I dont believe anything without a source lol! Overall Id say hes great

He's a very nice guy. Funny too. He's a bit tough on grading the debates/presentations. They count for a lot and you better come prepared for them or you're going to struggle in the class. He said the textbook was needed but I never bought it and did perfectly fine in class.

I've had him now for 3 COM classes at MCC (COM105, COM110, and COM210). He knows his material for the classes no doubt. He might be a tough grader though on assignments, but it willing to help you out for the class. If you do all of your work on time, come to class and participate in discussions, you should be fine with passing for the course.

A tough grader! Make sure to complete all assignments. He is always there if needed. A great professor overall.

Very great, kind, and funny professor. Teaches very well and works very well with students. Nitty-gritty grader but offered plenty of make-ups and extra credit. Very open and willing to work with students personally. Also great to just have a conversation with.

I have never rated a professor before, but after taking his class I needed to put up a review. For professor D i took Discussion and Debate and the class was full of exploration. He gives you lots of options to pick from for your topics and is always accessible for great feedback. Always give amazing positive feedback from which you can learn from!

Easy class, I took it in Fall 2020, Put effort into the Projects and HW and you'll pass. He does take attendance and likes when you participate.

I took Professor Dell'omo for Public speaking and he was very caring and overall just a very nice man. Personally, I was nervous to take a public speaking class but throughout the semester I gained a lot of confidence. There is a textbook yet he doesn't require it and the notes he provides are great so its an easy A if you put in the effort.

Super engaging and easy to understand. Always open to questions and makes class fun and interactive.

So I had this prof for radio broadcasting and he was great there, however I am really iffy with his coms class. He is making us do a group project which is fine except that we have to present for 25 minutes while only answering 8 questions & on top of that have to each write our own paper on the topic we chose which has nothing to do w coms.

He's a tough grader for debates, so choose your partner wisely. Very serious but kind and always willing to help. Some controversial comments made by students in class weren't addressed, and a few students dropped the class because of it. So, be prepared to hear tough topics and the professor not addressing it much. Overall, a valuable class.

His work is straight forward. He tells you what will be on the quizzes, and they are multiple choice. He splits up lectures with activities which made it engaging. There are a few essays and a group project but overall they aren't bad at all.
