He curves all his test and has some extra credit. Very fun and nice guy, and was the only class i actually liked going to. Use your study guide!

IN ORDER TO GET AN A YOU MUST READ THE BOOK. All of the test questions are from the book. I didnt really pay attention to the lectures ( which generally have little to nothing to do with the test. All i did was read the book, memorize everything from the chapters, and i got an A.

He was literally the laziest professor I've ever had and I've had about 30 professors. He doesn't teach at all so its very important to read the book. He only has us watch movies (that aren't on tests) and asks us if we have questions. The tests are open book but the test questions are VERY specific. Like many others have said he NEEDS to retire.

I took this class a few years ago but I would just like to mention how horrible he is. I am about to graduate and the only C I got was from this class. I can now say for sure that he was THE WORST professor that I have ever had let alone in psychology. I tried several times to talk to him about my grade and he could of cared less.

If you want to learn anything, TAKE SOMEONE ELSE. This being my major, I went on to a higher course and even his own peers commented on him. He really needs to retire. I felt really CHEATED. Not professional at all that he wouldn't show up to class at all and not even put a note up. Take someone else.

I learned nothing about the subject of personality. Found coming to class useless. We talked about things in class that had nothing to do with the subject or the text. The tests were entirely based off the text. They were full of misspellings and difficult to comprehend. As a straight A student who received a C from this teacher, don't take it.

I barely went to his class, BARELY. His lectures are useless, fun though, and you need to read. Either really thoroughly in the time allotted to you or the night before (if you can retain the info). And reading tip: for each exam, the first chapter assigned seemed to come up more often in the exam. AND do EVERY extra credit opportunity, it helps.

Professor Elloie is very boring and dry but also very nice. He only covers a tiny part of each chapter and tests are very detailed so read carefully. His lectures are light, so you shouldn't have trouble attending. The problem is, he doesn't leave homework or projects, just exams: all based on the book. You might as well not go to his lectures (a lot of people in my class didn't), since the exams are based 80% on the test and 20% on stuff you are supposed to know "already".
