Dr. House is fair!! Yea, you have to go to class or else your missing out on alot of material. Alot of athletes take his class thinking they will pass if they don't go...DUH, school is school. This guy is very smart and I learned history!!

He wasn't an easy A. I took the class twice, i failed the first time. U have to go to class and have to take notes. But it's very easy to cheat on all tests, write ur notes in the novel you're allowed to bring to each test.

House is a smallish Woody Allen-like man who waves & stretched arms amusingly whenever he's trying to make a point. Easy, if you pay attention.

This class is easy, you just have to show up. Take notes, don't slack off. Do the readings. This is college, you do the work, you get the grade. In his class you get out what you put in. Don't badmouth if you're a slacker. He really cares too.

Dr. House is a very kind, caring, and helpful person and professor. He is an excellent teacher, and he makes the class interesting and funny. I looked forward to going to his class, and I've learned a lot from him. Highly recommended!

well,i think he knows his material well,but its hard to pass the class,even if you show up for every class and take notes. he doesnt review very well and the tests tend to have material you didnt know about.i would have failed if it werent for thextracred

If u go to class and pay attention, it's easy and actually interesting. Don't have to read the book for the essay question, the ? is very easy and broad. Easiest class I've taken so far, he's an awesome teacher.

If you go to class, this course is an easy A. If you do his extra credit...again, easy...you can wind up with a 100+ for a grade. No papers, exams are easy. You only have to listen to pass this one.

This guy is the man. His stories are interesting and the tests are easy as long as you have any type of background in history

I'm taking him for a summer class and i think he's a great teacher. He gives good example to help your remember the material and he keeps the atmosphere upbeat and he's very energenic. I hate history and he has made the class enjoyable 's not hard

Good professor. Easy to get "A" in his class, but you do have to take lots of notes. It's better to record the lectures.

"definations that arent in the books!!" Hahahah Ok in the lower level history class only get the book THAT HE WROTE AND READ AND DO THE TEST QUIZEZ.Its called "Consice History" or something. No need to go to class and take notes if you do that.

If you go to his class and take good notes, and read your concise history book you will do fine. He has a sense of humor which does help the class move along. The only bad thing is that he gives you a test and its over a 100 year span

Its worth it to take this class just to watch his spastic animated movements he makes while teaching. Hes like a cheerleader. Hilarious. As a teacher, hes ok. It helps if you like history/are good at memorizing dates and facts. Not unreasonable. Extra credit available.

GREAT CLASS three exams with 7 id's and a essay he gives the essay question in advance and gives great book discussions, and gives plenty of extra credit, funny man, and makes history interesting you can really feel the passion within him for history and his job GREAT GUY! everyone should take class

I'll tell ya the truth, I took this class a year ago and still remember most of what he said. Hint: Take really good notes and write down everything he emphasizes on. I got an A without cheating on anything- go figure.

If you fail his american history class, then you either never show up or are just stupid. He's really clear about what dates are gonna be on the tests, and the books you read for the essays on exams you have discussions about. He also gives you about 10 extra credit points,which makes my grade an A.

He is a very easy teacher once you understand his methods. It is very easy to cheat on all his exams, and extra credit points are easily done and given. He is a very intelligent man and has a lot of stories to tell. It isn't necessary for you to go to class as long as you know the date of the tests.

He gives essay tests; he is anti-Scantron. Auxiliary texts he makes you read are pretty boring.

I absolutely loved him. He's such a sweet guy. This exams are pretty easy. If you take good notes and look them over you'll do fine. The first exam was tough, but after you see how his exams are it's a piece of cake! I got an A... first history class ever.

I absolutely loved this class. He is the cutest old man. He teaches very well, be ready to take notes! But he always tells little stories. He's a really great teacher, just go to class and pay attention. His exams are easy as long as you study. TAKE THIS CLASS!!!

If you go to class, pay attention and take notes, you will get a good grade. His class started off slow but got to be so much fun that I NEVER missed a class! It was like a t.v. show, only it was real stuff. I couldn't miss a single "episode". Take his course!

This class is easy, you don't even really need to go until the dates of the tests. The notes don't mean anything, they are just to enhance what's already in the book. It's ALL in the book. All you need to do is memorize and know everything in the span of years that he gives you. He gives alot of opportunities for extra credit, easy A or B.

House is a real character, I think we spent more time laughing than learning. He does present a lot of information so skipping class is a bad idea. Exams are pretty easy provided you have gone to class and atleast skimmed over the notes before class.

Very easy class to pass. It's a lecture. He's really funny and he'll definitely help you if you have a problem. He gives a lot of extra credit points. He covers a lot of material, so i would suggest not to miss this class. DO THE READING!! It's long, but he goes over the reading a week before the exam.

Excellent instructor. I really enjoyed his class. He made U.S. History really fun. I imagine that it is hard to lecture from memory every day, but he makes it look so easy.

Please don't buy the books. He only uses them for one question for each of the 3 exams, a waste of money. Go to class because his lectures are clear and straight forward.

I loved the class. Was nervous about the lecture style and how I'd do, but pretty much you just need to attend class, take notes, and you'll know the material. STUDY for the exams and know the reading for the essays, and it'll be an easy A. Gives extra credit as well. Loved him as a guy too, was nice, joked around, approachable.

Dr. House was a very good teacher. Book reviews were pointless, but tests were very easy. You dont have to go everyday as long as you have someone else in the class take notes for you. He was very funny and told good stories. Made the lectures fun.

Great Teacher! Was a lecture style class with one test (wintersession) and opportunities for bonus points. I would definately take another of his classes, as the lectures were interesting and I felt that I learned a lot upon leaving.

Great man! Extremely helpful and fascinating to listen to. Makes you want to attend every class but is so reasonable and understanding if you have to miss. Very low stress level and entertaining with historical trivia. Truly great person! Don't have to worry about grading--do the reading and homework and enjoy the class!

Such an easy class. Do the extra credit; there's 12 points. The tests are based off of notes and a reading from one of the required books. Dr. House makes the class so interesting and I hate history.
