He really knows his stuff (never even looks at notes while teaching.) he goes really fast, though. it's sometimes hard to keep up with him.

Gradeing policy is very unfair. One person could use one word answers and get an A, the next could have that answer plus alot more and get an F.

Dr. House is fair!! Yea, you have to go to class or else your missing out on alot of material. Alot of athletes take his class thinking they will pass if they don't go...DUH, school is school. This guy is very smart and I learned history!!

He wasn't an easy A. I took the class twice, i failed the first time. U have to go to class and have to take notes. But it's very easy to cheat on all tests, write ur notes in the novel you're allowed to bring to each test.

House knows his material but makes it very difficult for students to do well. He does not review for test in a proper manner, therefore you never know what will be on it. I've studied for hours upon hours just to be tested on information I hadn't seen.

This class is easy, you just have to show up. Take notes, don't slack off. Do the readings. This is college, you do the work, you get the grade. In his class you get out what you put in. Don't badmouth if you're a slacker. He really cares too.

Dr. House is a very kind, caring, and helpful person and professor. He is an excellent teacher, and he makes the class interesting and funny. I looked forward to going to his class, and I've learned a lot from him. Highly recommended!

If u go to class and pay attention, it's easy and actually interesting. Don't have to read the book for the essay question, the ? is very easy and broad. Easiest class I've taken so far, he's an awesome teacher.

If you go to class, this course is an easy A. If you do his extra credit...again, easy...you can wind up with a 100+ for a grade. No papers, exams are easy. You only have to listen to pass this one.

Your grade consists of three exams but he does give you a chance to do easy extra credit,Take lots of notes..but don't bother reading the books he assigns,the essays on them are open book and they are so general, you could get them from the back cover.

If you go to his class and take good notes, and read your concise history book you will do fine. He has a sense of humor which does help the class move along. The only bad thing is that he gives you a test and its over a 100 year span

Its worth it to take this class just to watch his spastic animated movements he makes while teaching. Hes like a cheerleader. Hilarious. As a teacher, hes ok. It helps if you like history/are good at memorizing dates and facts. Not unreasonable. Extra credit available.

If you fail his american history class, then you either never show up or are just stupid. He's really clear about what dates are gonna be on the tests, and the books you read for the essays on exams you have discussions about. He also gives you about 10 extra credit points,which makes my grade an A.

He is a very easy teacher once you understand his methods. It is very easy to cheat on all his exams, and extra credit points are easily done and given. He is a very intelligent man and has a lot of stories to tell. It isn't necessary for you to go to class as long as you know the date of the tests.

I absolutely loved him. He's such a sweet guy. This exams are pretty easy. If you take good notes and look them over you'll do fine. The first exam was tough, but after you see how his exams are it's a piece of cake! I got an A... first history class ever.

This class is easy, you don't even really need to go until the dates of the tests. The notes don't mean anything, they are just to enhance what's already in the book. It's ALL in the book. All you need to do is memorize and know everything in the span of years that he gives you. He gives alot of opportunities for extra credit, easy A or B.

Very easy class to pass. It's a lecture. He's really funny and he'll definitely help you if you have a problem. He gives a lot of extra credit points. He covers a lot of material, so i would suggest not to miss this class. DO THE READING!! It's long, but he goes over the reading a week before the exam.

I like this class. His lectures are really good and the test are pretty easy. He goes over everything in history but you only need to know about 10 things for the exams. The only problem is our first exam was 6-7 weeks into the semester meaning over 100 years of materials covered. Overall he's a good teacher. I do like this class

Decent class. Pretty easy just as long as you read the text and study. Make sure to take good notes. The only thing that annoyed me is you can't sell your books back to the school because he gets kick-backs from the publishers for every student that buys the books. We only read like 1-2 chapters from each book too. It was a waste of money!!!

I loved the class. Was nervous about the lecture style and how I'd do, but pretty much you just need to attend class, take notes, and you'll know the material. STUDY for the exams and know the reading for the essays, and it'll be an easy A. Gives extra credit as well. Loved him as a guy too, was nice, joked around, approachable.

Great Teacher! Was a lecture style class with one test (wintersession) and opportunities for bonus points. I would definately take another of his classes, as the lectures were interesting and I felt that I learned a lot upon leaving.

Great man! Extremely helpful and fascinating to listen to. Makes you want to attend every class but is so reasonable and understanding if you have to miss. Very low stress level and entertaining with historical trivia. Truly great person! Don't have to worry about grading--do the reading and homework and enjoy the class!

Such an easy class. Do the extra credit; there's 12 points. The tests are based off of notes and a reading from one of the required books. Dr. House makes the class so interesting and I hate history.

DR.House is a old school teacher. You need to take notes to do well in this class. Most times than nots he just talks and there is no visuals. He does give up to 12 points extra credit. There is 3 tests and 3 optional quizzes. Only take him if you are a good note taker and you pay attention.
