It seems very easy to get good grades in his class, because he does not care about details. He just wants to make sure that you understand the material. You also don't have to take the final exam if you do well in the two midterm exams. That's cool!

schubert was an okay teacher. he wasn't all that. if you do well on your first 3 exams you don't have to take the final! there are about 25 questions you have to turned before the semester ends and that brings your grade up a lot. it's worth 25%. the earlier you turned them in the better grade you'll get. that's all!

Mr. Schubert was a good teacher. He was rather easy because there were only 2 exams with a final which you do not have to take if you feel your first 2 exams are good. You have to write a question about politics each class meeting which also counts toward your grade. Take Mr. Schubert, you'll enjoy taking him.

Grade is based on 3 exams + take home final, lectures are funny. There isn't any homework aside from the reading and take home portions of the exams. Exams are a breeze if you do the reading and review your notes & he tells you exactly what the free response questions are on the exams. Take home final was difficult since he wants 6 pages.

Positives: He's hilarious, really passionate and knowledgeable, makes a lot of references to current events, encourages you to meet at office hours. Cons: Lectures are not very organized and are pretty much auditory only-visual learners you're out of luck. KEEP UP WITH READING, ATTENDANCE AND GOOD NOTES! He will give tons of in class handouts.

One of the better teachers at city in my opinion. He is not biased toward a single party which from my understanding is fairly common with political science instructors. The exams are not that difficult, if you study you are guaranteed a B. his lectures are interesting and easy to pay attention too. However, he does not come to class on time ever.

You get to play a turn-based game throughout the semester and that is very fun as well. There are a lot of reading and handouts, and you must read them all. Again, loved every second.
