Awesome teacher. This IS a 200 level class so expect the level of work that goes with it. Awesome teacher that really works with you so you undertsand the material. She's very nice and has an awesome fashion sense besides. :)

Louise Hull changed my life. She expects a lot out, but you learn a ton. She will go out of her way to help you be successful. She loves teaching and her subject which makes it super fun.

Excellent teacher! She was very helpful, and I really enjoyed her class. She made learning fun and I looked forward to going to her class every day! However, don't take her if you plan on skipping class. Not a good class to do that with.

She is an awesome teacher. Its not an easy class. But should every class be easy? No! Otherwise, whats the point? If you want to challenge yourself, take one of her classes. She teaches like a UW prof. You will have fun and learn A LOT in her class. I did.. I'm taking another class by her right now. I would recommend her to anyone, and I do, all the time.

She is an awesome teacher. whenever you need help or dont understand something, she will do whatever she can to help you.

She was the coolest teacher I had at Green River! I learned so much about human nature and all that fun stuff, it was so awesome!!!

My favorite teacher at Green River. She is really knowledgable and teaches you to think for yourself. I actually took another class she taught because I liked her so much. She is a little crazy with the attendance but if you just come to class, you will actually learn something that will help you be a better person outside of the classroom.

a decent teacher. She is passioniate about sociology and applys it to daily life examples. Interesting class, but she can be a hard grader. If your not one of her favorites she may pick on you. watch out!

Amazing (repeat: Amazing) professor. If you came to college to learn, Prof. Hull will teach you. She's the best you'll come by, those rare finds in community college that change your perspective on the world around you. Top knotch class, incredible experience.

I have taken 2 classes w/Louise and intend to take more, Soc. is not my main field of study, but she is an amazing instructor. You will work hard, laugh, cry, get angry and LEARN...If learning is your goal you will want her for your instructor, she knows her stuff and is passionate about it, and loves to teach. She will help you succeed.

I loved Louise and her Sociology 110 class. She expects a lot from her students and her grading can seem a little arbitrary at times, but taking a class from her is totally worth it. She really knows her stuff and she makes the class a lot of fun. I looked forward to going every day. I highly recommend taking a class from her.

Mrs. Hull ROCKS! Anyone that has the opportunity to take any of her classes is blessed!! There is alot of work...alot, but she WANTS you to learn, she doesn't just teach. Her teaching changes the way you think and alters the choices you make in life. She is an awesome teacher and person! You experience what she is saying rather than just listen.

I took her class online and found it to be very interesting. Good class to take online. She clearly defines what is expected. Grading can be hard because there are only two tests and the rest is in homework forums, but as long as you do what she asks you should do fine.

I took her online course, and it was fun. If you are willing to learn, then you will get many things out of this class. There are many interesting assignments. She will definitely like you if you appreciate her as a teacher. Her lectures are eye-awakening. If you are taking courses for something more than just grades, you surely want to take hers.

I am not a 4.0 student and yet received a 4.0. Ms. Hull allows you to look at our world from a different perspective and asks tough questions regarding what kind of people we are and who we surround ourselves by. She gives study guides for the test that incorporate ALL the tested information..Wonderful! LOVED this class beyond words. I took online

She is a really great teacher!! Very funny! Anyone who has a problem in this class is probably just too lazy to do the reading. She has very reasonable expectations and she loves her job which makes the class very interesting.

the class i took was sociology of food, which may a bit misleading. But, overall shes tough in order to prepare us for the next level of your education. Overall, shes a good teacher, but tough and you'll be assigned a ton of readings

By far my favorite teacher I've taken at GR so far. She has lots of reading but it's reasonable, just don't get behind. Her weekly Reading Responses from the reading are also reasonable & can be done in a few hours. Hull knows her subject very well & makes it interesting & fun. I'm very pleased I took her, although I was a little reluctant at first

Great Teacher! Makes you think like you never have. Work load is perfect, one assignment a week with an exam every three weeks or so. Not too hard if you keep up with the work but you definitely can't just skate by.. she'll know when you are and you'll fail. Recommend to anyone looking for an interesting class

Great professor! There's a lot of reading, and the only grades are for essays every week. Class is really interesting! She really makes you think. I would recommend this class.

She's fairly nice and pretty funny. The tests are all easy if you study. It does require a lot of reading though because you have a reading response due every week. But it's not that difficult of a class.

Favorite teacher @ GRCC. She's so nice & funny. You read a lot but you also learn. I am not a 4.0 student & I did very well. Seriously the best teacher ever. Just be responsible.

Easy class if you do your homework. I have a feeling that a lot of the reviews that said this was a hard class where from students just out of high school. Easy as far as college classes go. If you do all of your reading and follow her study guides you will get an A. Good teacher, never had a problem with her being mean.

Well, if you've taken a social science course before then this class will be an easy A+. If you're still in High school or just graduated from one then it will be challenging since the textbook will introduce a bunch of new concepts. She was generally nice; she was only snarky once when she disagreed with something I said.

Easy class. Allowed you a second attempt on every quiz.

I thoroughly enjoyed this class. If you're a slacker then don't bother taking her class. A lot of reading and regular posting participation. When I took the class we had 1 quiz per week and as long as you read and study you'll do really well. All quizzes are open book, on campus midterm finals. This professor is SO underrated

She has high standards but is willing to help. Doesn't have much patience for slackers, though. Lectures are interesting, time goes by really fast.

Never disliked an online class more than this one. Her expectations for submitting assignments are unreasonable to students that hold a job and work Friday-Sunday. She only gives a short amount of time to submit discussions, quizzes, and essays and gives you the info for them very late notice. Had to call out from work to do her quizzes many times.

Loved the class. Weekly quizzes, but we could take them from 8 am to 11 pm, and take them twice. I had a lot of questions and she answered right away. Learned more than I thought I would because every week we covered stuff that was interesting. It's clear she cares about what she teaches. Recommend!

Louise has shown me the other side of the coin in many ways. She takes the time needed for those who but ask for assistance. She has found many examples to relate Sociology to everyday life. I am truly glad I took this course with her as a guide.

If you take this class with her, you will be able to think differently about everything around you. Even though there are some readings, you will be able to get it through easily as long as you read on time. Also, she is always in her office to help students with help. You really won't regret if you take her class. Very fascinating things to learn!

The online class was great - lots of reading and looking at videos, but most of it was very interesting. Clear assignments and reminders for due dates. Continually gives feedback and directions. Quizzes are at the end of every week, but you can take them twice. You have to work so be ready for a real college class!

I love this professor, but I would not recommend taking an online class if you cannot get online everyday and are not on top of things.

This was the best class I've had in two years. Lots of reading, but I see so many things in a different way. She's funny and she really cares about her class. I asked her once about the wording on a test question. She looked at it and changed it for the whole class. She's fair.

Professor Hull is a great teacher, I learned so much in this class and now see things in a completely new way! Her lectures fly by because they are very interesting and the material will grab your attention! Yet the homework load is hard to bare while taking other courses, so be prepared for lots of material that will take you hours to finish.

Although I was late to class every day and had plenty of absence that I got called out on it, it was a very enjoyable class. The topic was very interesting and each day was very enjoyable. A lot of reading and writing, but if you pace yourself, it is manageable. I would recommend it, even though I eventually withdrew due to personal issues.

I did one of Hull's classes at the end of 2015. It was a hybrid class that met tow days a week. She was very productive during the lecture time and expects everyone to participate when they meet up. Group discussions online take a little bit of time but overall she was a really great professor and I would take another one of her classes!

Great teacher, very engaging, seemed very organized, and she always gave great feedback. Weekly discussion forums and quizzes. The discussion forums are thought-provoking, but not too difficult, and the quizzes are fairly tough. She gives several extra credit opportunities. Her class is very enjoyable, if you work hard, you'll most likely do fine.

I took this class online and it was very overwhelming. It is expected that you read and watch the material she has provided for you or else she'll dock you points if you don't mention it in the discussion. If you want a good grade, you must mention everything you read/watched that week. Final paper is easy, but expect to spend a lot of time on it.

This class, even though challenging and there is quite a bit of reading was really easy to pass and get a good grade. This instructor is pretty leinent on how she grades, if you cant totally articulate what you are trying to say she can decipher through whatever you said and then she will ask you questions about it. Overall I thought she cared.

Great professor. Wants students to learn and do well. Students need to put in the effort. Lots of reading from the text book and related articles. However, the subject material is very rewarding and enlightening.

I took all of Louise Hulls classes right after high school. Her classes changed my life. She is an amazing professor!
