She is so boum in Math and I should call her "The Genius".She makes you think that you are the sons and daughters of " Archimedes". She makes math easy to understand and she makes you do the "Index Cards" for the formula. As a matter of fact, the index card stick the formula in your brain. Trust me, take her and you will get an "A".

Very good professor. Her tests are easy and she is always willing to help. She is very lenient and gives easy extra credit. Any and everyone should take her class.

I'm glad I took her...I had taken MAT1033 2 times before her and got an F then a D. With her I got a B but very easily could've gotten an A. She gives online work that is helpful. Espana is a nice teacher that knows her math and encourages you to do good.

I was apart of her learning community and in 8wks I understood the whole text book. She gives you ample extra credit. The homework that you have to do is an online program, but a classmate of mine never did her and still pass the class with an A, but the homework is helpful. You are never blind to what is going to be on the quiz or her test.

Shes a good prof....she says funny but weird little things every day in class like kapeechee n so on...if u need to pass the exit exam take her she uses 2 whole weeks just to review for it and you will deff learn in her class

This professor is awesome take her she is the best teacher ever I took her for MAT1033 and MAC1105 she makes class easy she explains so well. Its impossible to fail especially with all the extra credit she gives I passed with an A in both her classes. She is great she loves her students and her job she is great at what she does.

Funny and nice teacher. But she does make many mistakes when she is teaching which can often confuse you. Specially when taking this class in the summer which can be very intense course. But she gives a ridiculous amount of extra credit so thats great! I finished with an A.

GREAT TEACHER!!!! She gives Extra Credit on her test, but to get the 10 points EC you have to score 70% or more on her practice test for the exam. The practice test & her notes help you prepare for the test. You have to study but it is worth it!!!

I think this teacher is amazing! She reminds me of my pre-calc teacher in high school. She explains problems step by step and clearly. No one in my class is lost or confused as to what's going on. And I think it's funny when she says "easy breezy beautiful miss Espana". I'm almost certain that I will pass with an A in her class.

Professor Espana is very kind, but she is not prepared for the subject material involved in MAC1147. She knew nothing about trig. and had great difficulty answering questions. Her trig. is not strong, and that's not good if you plan on taking higher levels of math. Be aware and prepared to teach yourself once you get to the more difficult problems.

Her class is extremely easy. She teaches very slowly and makes sure everyone's on board before moving on. She's a little slow sometimes but understands course material. There really is no negative about her teaching skills or class. A monkey could pass her class.

Shes a great teacher, she takes some getting used too but she makes you work for the grade, she gives PLENTY of extra credit so take use of it. At first she seemed harsh but I came to see she is actually a really good professor.

This is the best math professor I've ever had. I had to take this class because I failed mat1033 three times, that's how bad I was doing at math. Now I got an A on her class. She is clear, teaches step by step, gives lots of extra credit, and gives an online review before every test. Tests are exactly like those reviews. I would take her again.

professor Lourdes is a great teacher she cares about you, gives test but very simple, tries to be funny and the homework is very simple and its online. i recommend any one to take her. you do not need the textbook but you do need the access code.

This is the thing. Her class is so easy that it's boring. Also, if you are into meditating, this is your class (weird, I know). Lectures are on the internet; you take daily (EASY) quizzes, and work in teams for extra credit. The tests are the study guide (FANSTATIC), and she CARES. But she is not for people that have no patience.

In a history of math classes I've taken Ive never actually received A's of any of my test. She even gave us candy ,DO the extra credit trust me it helps!

I haven't liked as many of my professors as much as I like Ms. España. She's sweet and genuinely cares about her students passing her class. I took her for both 1106 and 1107 and the vast majority of our class from the first 8 weeks made it into the second 8 weeks. TAKE HER CLASS!! She's really fun and you'll actually learn.

I took MGF1106 and MGF1107 with Professor Espana. She is caring and made math easy! She gives lots of extra credit opportunities. The homeworks are online, and she gives you the packets of the lessons in class. Just do your assignments, take good notes, and ask questions. If you do pay attention and do your work you'll easily pass the class!

Math really isnt my thing, let alone having to take it online was a bit of a challenge. Professor Espana made it easy to understand the material. There is a lot of homework and quizzes. But if you do them youll be good. Study! Study! STUDY!

I cheated my way through this course and passed with an A only thing I disliked is the paper she wants me to write. I also took her MGF 1106 class hardest math class ever nothing makes sense at all can't really cheat with this course.

I had Prof Espana for a Statistics Honors class. Actively taking notes, listening to class recordings, completing the homework, and studying the exam reviews will help you earn an A in this class. It is not that difficult, but it does require you to work. If you are the type of student who cheats and wants an easy A, this is not the class for you.

4 exams (very similar to the review). If you get an A on the review (which is similar to the test), you'll get 10 points added to your exam! A whole letter grade! In the end, there was an optional final cumulative exam to replace your lowest test grade.

I definitely recommend printing the worksheets she has so you can follow along during the lesson. Has 4 exams through Proctor U and final (optional).

Super easy course. Every assignment on Pearson, around 3-4 exams non proctored on canvas and an optional final if you have a bad grade before it. Super easy to find answers for exams. Offers a review before each exam that allows you to get an extra 10 points on the actual exam if you get above an 80 on it.

Professor Espana makes this math class super easy. Lots of extra credit opportunities and review quizzes to boost your exam grades. unstuck study was a big help for study prep too. Definitely take this class if you need a math credit.

Ive taken this class twice but only with miss lourdes I passed. She's the best teacher hands down you can tell she cares about her students and keeps you updated on the assignments. I never had an issue getting in contact with her. All of the work is easy I highly recommend taking her class.

Like any math class, it has ups and downs. Her chapter tests weighed a ton with 30% and the Midterm and Final a combined 50%. She includes notes and study guides but are often incomplete or not clear enough. The homework and textbook is on Pearson and was clear enough. On the good side, she was pretty responsive over email.

Like in any math class, if you don't do your HW yourself or read the book/lectures, you will not pass. She has very clear expectations and cares about her students. Don't cheat because you will get caught!!

I actually really liked her, I'm not big on math but she made it clear and understandable for me and the other students. A lot of my classmates were taking her for a second time, just a different subject. I thought I passed her class with flying colors but I somehow ended up with a C??
