This was the easiest math professor I ever had! I got a B in her class and I hate math. There are 5 exams, which seems like a lot but it makes it easier because u'll have less stuff to remember 4 the exam. The final is optional! She is really good at explaining the material and going through problems. Go to class, do the homework and u'll do good!

Omg, you guys, if you find 1105 hard with her dont even try a higher level math, seriously, shes the easiest teacher ever, she really knows how to explain and she is easy with grades, plus, she gives you a review before the test, if you can do it you pass. Test are based on homework, so do it and buy the book, although, it is not mandatory to take to class. Sometimes she gets annoyed when you go see her at her office.

She is a layed back teacher, she gives 5 tests with bonus points in all of them and the final is optional. Also she drops ur lowest grade if you take the final.

This professor is really good, the class is not easy since it requires a lot of study time. She gives extra credit so you can improve your tests scores, but this doesn't mean that you don't need to study. I will really recommend her and also to study a lot. Good Luck in the future!!!!!!

I am not a math person, all my life I have always struggled with the subject. It's great to have teachers like Professor Gonzalez. Great attitude, Her style of explaining and teaching is phenomenal. Will go over and over on problems that you don't understand. No question is stupid. Passed with an A! I would definitely recommend her!

well i didnt use the text book for anything but homework. im getitng a B and thats without trying. the only problem is thats shes Hungarian so theres an accent.

She is a great professor in my opinion. I don't know how some people could have trouble in her class I aced her exams. The material she taught was very easy and she made it very clear. If you do the test reviews and hw you should do fine. I recommend her.

She is very helpful and fun. She doesn't check attendance regularly. She speaks a little fast and has all her examples for the class done ahead of time MEANING she won't work out every little step. She asks if there are questions on h.w. every class. I recommend her only if you're SURE you won't slack off AT ALL.

Great Teacher! Really easy class passed with an A! Easy to understand does alot of examples and will help you if u need it! Attendance is not mandatory! Reviews are given way before test and we go over it the day before the test! Will take her again!!!

Amazing teacher. I wasn't good at math at all, but I received straight A's in her class. Definitely planning on taking her for MAC1147 as well. If you don't do well it's because you: 1) don't care 2) don't study 3) don't go to class. You won't learn the material through osmosis.

You don't need the book in class, just use it for the homework which I highly recommended you do. She has about 6 tests, nothing else. Always bonuses, sometimes extra credit. Her classs is very easy. I took her for pre calc and calc1. i got an A in both classes. There are 5 tests and a final, but you only have to take the final if you want to bc it will replace your lowest test grade. That saved me from getting a B in calc1. The final is a piece of cake. I got a 100..its MC. but her tests come frm the hw and ex in class

it is what it is.....if u slack your gonna pay the price...if you do the tons of homework she assigns you`ll do better.....i found her test to be really challenging but i promise that shell get you ready for the next math level...shes very nice to talk to also shes caring and demands your respect so let her have it

You have to attend class, if not you will not understand the material.I had her class with math lab and that helped out alot more than the homework assignment.She has 4 tests and the last one was counted twice, she also gives a review before the test.If you have any questions she does not mind.She also has an accent but its not that bad. Very helpful professor! Took it in summer A, which is a 6 week class and managed to pass with an A. As long as you take all your notes and make sure to do the reviews she sends you via email, then you'll do perfectly fine! Highly recommend her if you don't like math but need to pass! Always at her office to help!

She is good at what she does I've had her for pre-calc, calc 1, and calc 2 and is by far one of the best professors around her class isn't cake but at least you'll remember everything she teaches. Everything is based on test so I advise you to study as long as you pay attention you will do fine

She is amazing! She give 10 pts extra credit for the online homework in every tests.(Super helpful!!!) Your grade is based on these 4 tests. Sometimes though she doesn't teach important topics but on the online hw it explains perfectly. Shes gives reviews and her tests, easy....if you study of course and do the online hw and review! Professor calm,clear,thorough teaches material well,goes over homewk & tests.Need Calculator.Tests simple as long as you study,do homework, attend class, math lab exercises daily. Very nice and helpful prof. I took her for Summer A for MGF1106 (Math for Liberal Arts). Passed with an A. If you attend class and go over your notes, you can pass the test rather easily.

Calculus is hard, no question about that, but she makes it understandable at the very least. Her tests are difficult but usually have a couple extra credit problems. She has an accent but she explains things clearly and she's easy to understand. HW is not required, nor is attendance. Needless to say you'll fail if you don't do either.

She is awesome!! I loved every second of her class. She is very nice and polite and also makes the class very interesting. She is amazing when explaining and treats students with respect. I took her for Precal and Trig and I'm taking her next term for Cal 1 and hopefully Cal 2.

I have this professor now & let me just clarify one thing, she's a great professor. Explains very clearly & her exams? are just like the hw. If you didn't do your hw at least 3 times before the exam & re do the Qs she went over in class, you won't pass. & she's not a hard grader. People just want an easy A. Take her, she'll make you learn! :)

Calculus is a hard subject, but she's a great teacher, and her teaching style isn't hard to understand. She gives bonuses on the 6 exams which help a lot, plus an optional final if you want a better final grade. DO THE HW! and understand the examples in class -- the tests are just like it! If not, you're gonna fail. Simple as that.

After failing her class my first choice was to rate her terribly. The truth is, she is a great teacher and calculus is hard. She will do everything to label the subject material, but when it comes to the tests you are on your own. Tests are "show your work" she gives partial credit on the test, but 2 points for a 8 point question helps little.

Took online for Math for Liberal Arts 2 Her reviews help so much on the actual quizes she uses almost the same porblems so you know you have to study the review and there is a proctored midterm & final. But if you study the reviews you should be fine The HW is what is really time consuming but the online HW explains to you step by step how to solve

The class is fun, she makes you learn. the class is not easy but its not hard, you can pass by her office and she will explain you everything if you didnt get it in class, take her! its way more easier than any of the professor in this campus (kendall). She gives you everything you need for the tests and always answers as many questions as she can. The tests are similar to the homework and her examples because she makes sure to answer as many different problems as possible. Calculus isn't easy, but having this professor made it a breeze.

I took this class without a clue of what it was.Her exams are very difficult.You need to study a lot,LOT, LOT in order to get a good grade.I decided to withdraw it bec. I still had another exam + final to go and had a 70 on the dot and it was impossible. 6exams+final +HW on every section. I had never withdrawn from a course and this time I had to.

This is an amazing math teacher. She knows her stuff really well she studied in Hungary. The class goes by really fast since it is only six weeks (summer B). You need to do your homework in order to understand. She doesn't grade homework but gives extra points for it, there are 4 exams not multiple choice though. Take her she's really helpful!!!

She is an amazing online professor. Most math courses that you take online will give you little or no assistance at all. She on the other hand goes out of her way to make sure you understand the material. If you do everything by the deadline you will do great. She checks your discussions and even if you messed up she'll let you correct them.

This professor is amazing. Her tests are not that difficult. She helps you out a lot and gives tons of extra credit (up to 15 points on tests that are take home) Final is optional.

Great professor, you need to do all the hw else you are going to fail; the final exam isn't mandatory so its worth to get A's on all prior exams. Her explanation are very clear and exams are not too easy but not so hard, she gives extra credit on the exams. She really helps you a lot but you need a good knowledge of trig and pre-calculus

Half of our class dropped out by the end of the semester I think that's a good indicator of what type of professor she is. Study my friends because there is no way you will pass the class if you don't. Do all the homeworks twice if you can and do the practice exams because they help for some of the tests.

I took this class this semester and Prof. Lourdes was a big help for me. She is always willing to help you till the end of the semester. Is a great person and a great teacher, very sweet and patient. I'm not a Math person, but this class is not hard at all. Just take your time with your homework and do not procrastinate studying , you will be fine!

Amazing teacher! Professor Gonzalez is extrememly bright and sweet! She cares for her students and provides help whenever it is needed. BUY THE ACCESS CODE FOR HOMEWORK. She gives extra credit for it and it helps TREMEDOUSLY for studying. It gives every type of problem you might be given. Take her class! There are 6 tests and the final is optional.

Lots of extra credit. If you do well enough on the six exams, you dont have to do the final. I recommend her.

Makes you work for your grade. Her final is 40% of the overall grade and the midterm is 30%. Both are proctored and you must get 60% on both or you fail the course. You have to study for those exams but if you do you will be fine. Connect HW is due by end of semester and only about 4 discussions post throughout semester. Tough class but doable.

Obviously Calculus is a hard subject for most. She has a strong accent which makes it tough at times but she is not a bad teacher, will teach you what you need to know. Five exams and a comprehensive final that replaces your lowest grade. Tough class but she places last semester exams' on her BB... so if you study that and her class notes diligently, then I think you are good. I hope in the future she also puts her lecture notes online, or even do Youtube videos of her lectures.

Professor Gonzalez knows her Calculus front and backwards. I never thought I'd take a class as challenging as this but it was very rewarding. I stayed up for three nights straight before Exam 6 to make sure I could get a 100. Her class is tough no doubt and you can't slack! If you want to learn Calculus truly, especially if you're STEM, take her!

Great Prof!Take her! Calc I is upper-level and you will be doing algebra you have NEVER seen before, it's challenging. She is always available during office hours and will answer any questions you have. Go to every class she will sometimes cover 2 chapters in one lecture, they are through. HW from text to practice and posts old tests to study on BB

She gives around 4 tests and that's all the grades she puts in. Do the homework, all of it is due the last day of the semester. She sums up your overall grade in the hw into one grade so you have 4 test grades, and one hw grade. There's an optional final if you need a grade boost but the hw helps a lot with understanding.

If you are a slacker take another professor. She gives you the knowledge and the tools to succeed.. She was my first Professor after 25 years after high school and I could pass her class with an A. If you cannot do it is because you lack preparation, which is not her fault. Do yourself a favor and study. After 3 years I am getting my bachelors

Just took her for Math Lib. Arts 1, passed it. There's Mathlab homework but it's due at the end of the term, so pace yourself. Dropped out of MGF1106 in the summer because of my last professor's class. Quizzes are 50% of your grade, take good notes and study well. Prof Gonzalez's class was like a breath of fresh air, take her!

She is so sweet and caring. Calc 2 is not an easy class, but she makes it easy to digest. Homework in on MathLab and due at the end of the semester. There are 5 exams and an optional final. She provides reviews which are very similar to the exams.

Make sure you do the labs to be able to score good on the quizzes (2 attempts). The homework is extremely long every section could have from 20-50questions. Midterm and final exams are proctored. Class is doable as long as you put in the work and due the quizzes by the deadlines.

As someone who has struggled with math in the past, I definitely felt like I actually learned with her. Taking notes and doing the homework really helps. She has no problem answering questions or explaining things again. The tests are not that bad either, and she grades them very quick. I would totally recommend taking this class with her.

She is a great professor although she can go too fast during lectures at times. Beware that tests are 80% of your grade so make sure you are doing practice problems to ensure your best score. She also will change your lowest grade if you choose to do the final which is optional, and your final grade will replace your lowest score.

The professor provides videos and PowerPoints other than the textbook to help you understand the material.

It is true that exams are worth 80% but she does provide a lot of resources for you to study on top of plenty of extra credit in the form of proyects, homework taken as part of the exam grade and additional exam excercises. She is passionate about teachin and has a great attitude. She does go very fast but its kind of the programs fault, not hers.

Hard class but the teacher was good. Assignments weren't due until the end of the semester, discussions were simple, and the final was not proctored. Just do the work. Just do the tests and double, triple-check before submitting. Homework grade is based on the overall homework grade on the website. She just copies it and posts it to the grade book.

Excellent professor. The class requires you to do lots of homework in order to succeed and get a good grade in your midterm and final exams. She responds to emails promptly and helps you on a timely manner when a doubt arises. I would highly recommend her. Stay organize since day 1 and for sure you will have a great experience as me.
