Taking this class online now. There was a problem with the shedule but no biggie. I made a mistake uploding something and she let me make up the work. Very nice in email.

I absolutely LOVED this professor. I took her for my ENC1101 class. It was so easy, because she's so helpful and makes sure you understand everything. She makes sure that she can always help you when you need it. I would definitely take her again, I'm actually going to sign up for her online ENC1102 class.

I took her fully online and it was excellent. She always dropped in notes for us.If you know how to write and keep up with the discussions then you will get and easy A. You need the book though. Great teacher take her fully online

Took this class completely online, LOVED IT. Very easy A. just do your work, try your best, and you'll be fine. She is lenient if you need extensions with a valid excuse. Really easy to communicate with. Would def. take again! :)

Professor is great. Would take her anytime but Im done with my writing credits :( Just keep up with discussions do essays and you'll get an easy A.

This teacher is very nice and has very patients with her students. This lady if she i agrrevated sometimes will show it. Mrs. Heuer though is nice and always explains everything well.

She grades ridiculously hard. I actually had my essays rewieved by a teachers assistant who grades masters level papers and still only got a B+. The level she expects is unrealistic. In my previous class I had an A. Only take her if you are a second Hemingway....

I took this class online. She was great, very clear, and gave feedback on all her drafts to let you know exactly what you were doing wrong. If you e-mailed her she would e-mail right back with a response. Very fair in how she grades. If you take it online you need to be responsible with the deadlines she has set!

She is a good professor. She gives detailed feedback that helps. There isn't much teaching in the class though. You pretty much teach yourself by reading the book. She could have a better teaching method even though it is an online class.

I hate English and I still got a B. I took her online. When you email her she responds pretty quickly. I think the essays could have been graded more fair but other than that I am happy..

She is very clear. Took her online class, she grades fair but there is A LOT of work. The class is absolutely do able. I hate ENC and I got a B. Her only downfall is that she takes forever to grade your papers!!! But she does make herself very available.

I had this professor for ENC1102. She is wonderful and very helpful. The book is great and its pleasant to read. She asks that we post discussions on each story and there are 3 major papers to turn in. The professor was always available via email and was very helpful. She is not extremely demanding, and she gives you freedom to explore your writing

This professor is top notch. A very nice and intelligent lady. This class is discussion based so be sure to read ALL the assigned readings and come to class with something to say (she keeps track!) Your grade was based on 2 projects, class discussion, and in class written responses, 25% of grade each. Super easy stuff, as long as you participate and do projects. Read prior to class for thourough understanding because that's all you gotta do really. Great teacher, easy, I got a C and that was without doing one project. Good:)

EASY EASY EASY A! Took online for Summer A term. Believe me, I go to a university and it was the perfect class if you are home for the summer. So much time to complete work and fair grader. If you do the work, you'll get the grade you deserve. TAKE HER!

Professor was very helpful and had good feedback. I was able to complete the class without the book by look everything up online. The class consisted of essays and discussions no quizzes. Very easy class if you put the work in. Easy A.

Somewhat easy class but she does not give any extra credit or chances to resubmit essays for a better grade. 3 essays and a bunch of discussions. Take another teacher if you can, TOUGH grader.

Assignments were not overwhelming and the professor was very helpful. She gives very good feedback when submitting rough drafts that helped me get a better grade of final drafts. Lots of reading, and lots of discussions.

I took her online Summer A. mandatory discussions.3 Essays-include a Research Paper. post peer rev. & submit your entire paper to other students. I had good grades all term and then scored the lowest B possible on final paper.. really weird.. kept me from A. Fair grader I don't know considering you see what the other students are submitting : /

This professor is okay. If I had an option to choose someone else, I would! Grade composed of 3 essays, 1 quiz, discussions and other exercises. I think she's a tough grader too. The reading material was a bit boring, but I pushed myself through the semester to get a B.

Teacher is okay. I felt like she was a tough grader. Course consists of 3 essays which is a big part of your grade and a bunch of discussions.

A tough but fair grader who provides mostly cutpaste generic feedback based upon rubric. If you want an A, you will need to work for it. We started the semester with 24 students and ended with 15. Your grade is determined by 16 Discussions 12.5%, 9 exercisespeer reviews12.5%, Essay 120%, Essay 225%, and Essay 330% of your grade.

There are three papers and umpteen discussions. The syllabus is clear cut. You cannot get behind in this class. Make sure that your grammar is correct and you are clear with your ideas in the papers. There is no extra credit. You can get an A as long as you participate and stay up to date with the work. Only take Prof. if you are a hard worker.

The lessons and discussion posts are pretty easy. Some of the articles are long. I believe she grades harshly. There are peer reviews in which you are able to read other students essays before the final draft and it gives you an idea of where you stand in a sense. All in all it was good, no need to buy a book. She is accessible & responds quickly.

She always replied to my emails whenever I asked for help regarding any assignment. She reads your paper, if you send it or post it on the discussion board, and tells you what you should do to make your paper better. The discussions are easy and her expectations are clear. You just have to work on meeting the deadlines.

Took this class online. Very clear cut instructions. She answered my emails in a reasonable amount of time. Two papers make up alot of your grade, but not hard as long as you do the work! Gives feedback on your rough drafts so you can get the best grade possible. Online discussions mandatory. Got an A!

Took the class online. Majority of the grade is based on your essays. The class starts off with a lot of work but then gradually slows down. Clear grading criteria. Final grade is not negotiable. Easy grader for small assignments but quite harsh for the essays.

She gives very helpful feedback and as long as you follow it and correct any grammar mistakes, you will have an easy time getting good grades on essays. There is a lot of work for the online class, at least, but nothing that isn't doable. I took the class over the summer and had an essay due every other week. Do the work and you will pass.

I took this class online and got a 94. Assignments every 2 days. 3 essays, each with a first draft and final. Drafts are discussions. Reading the lesson is not required (but I would recommend it). Follow rubrics when writing essays. They account for most of your grade! Also write good amount for discussions and you'll get a 100 on them.

I was afraid it would be a really hard class, but self-discipline is the key! If you have that, I guarantee you will pass. There is a considerable amount of reading material and you will have to write 3 essays and actively participate on discussions and peer reviews. Prof Heuer is EXTREMELY helpful!!!

Prof Heuer is 1 of the best. she is fair &clear in her instructions. no free points. if u r at school to learn that's a solid choice. u can learn so much from her, but again if u r lazy, get u someone who does not care. cuz she is the real deal. gud prof

This class is definitely not easy. The teacher is very positive and gives great feedback to improve before submitting final essay. She wants you to succeed and will give you all the tools and comments needed to do so. I strongly recommend her, she is an amazing teacher.

Professor Heuer gave good feedback and always participated in the class discussions. There were 3 essays that made up the majority of the grade along with some discussions. Taking it over 8 weeks is manageable. Her feedback is useful but sometimes took a week or so to grade an essay. The lessons are good and make it easy to write. Overall good.

She grades meticulously, good feedback and will be even more detailed if you ask, she is negotiable and fair, requires participation for a good grade.

Prof. Heuer is a great professor to start your college career with.

Professor Heuer was amazing! You can tell from the class material that she puts a lot of effort and work into the class and makes sure that students have everything they need to be successful. I would highly recommend her class to anyone that needs to take ENC1102.

She is the best teacher I have ever had, I'm terrible in English and I passed both 1101 and 1102 with her online. I cannot stress how great she is, her feedback on your rough drafts are so in depth. She truly takes time for every student and she responds super fast to emails. 11/10 recommend!

I had Professor Heuers for ENC1101 and now I am taking ENC1102 and I am so glad I stuck with her. She gives great feedback back, accepts late work, and her assignment rubrics are always detailed.

Great Professor! Provides enough extra credit to keep your grade nice and high. Accepts late work and has has grace periods for almost every assignment. Explains the assignment thoroughly to help understand what must be done. Just set aside a few hours a week, and make sure to follow instructions when writing, and you've guaranteed yourself an A.

She is fantastic. Just because it is online, attendance is essential. It is worth taking a class with Professor Heuer. She cares about your success. She gives you fantastic feedback. Be sure to participate in all discussions, all preview reviews, and complete three essays. She is great. If you put in the work, you will pass.

Professor Heure is a good professor. I took the class fully online so I didn't communicate much with her. She is not a tough grader AT ALL. I suck at writing essays and I didn't get below a 93% on the essays. One tip that I can give you is to use the essay review feature on the online tutoring.

Just finished this class up today and thoroughly enjoyed it! Only thing is the class moved really quickly as it is a shorter session so being able to effectively manage your time is crucial!! I missed a few assignments because of that but everything else was graded very fairly, the feedback given really helps to improve your work. Easy to succeed!!

Do not miss any assignments Do your discussions Follow the instructions completely. There are essay samples, use them as your guides every single time. I took Professor Heuer's ENC1101 class during the Summer (a 12-week online class). Take advantage of the extra credit provided! It will help boost your grade even if you're averaging an A. I appreciated her feedback on my essays. Her instructions are very clear - If you read them thoroughly and follow exactly what is expected you will do well.

I had an amazing time taking this course and she was a great professor to have. I definetly recommend her for english!

She posted announcements every Monday with assignments for the week. You could choose any topic for your essays according to the type. We had 3 types of essays, 1 research assignment where you find 3 library sources, quizzes, discussions, and peer reviews. The professor is a nice teacher and a good person, the class was well-organized and smooth.

Overall a pretty good professor. You'll mainly be focusing on two essays: a rhetorical analysis and a classical argument, with three weeks for each. Responds super quickly to emails, like sometimes less than 10min. Gives good feedback and is willing to help at anytime. Grading criteria is a bit strict though.

It is not the easiest course, but it is not difficult. It does involve a lot of writing and editing, but the teacher gives you lots of time to do so. It is very hard for you to fail this class. Negative comments probably got lazy and expected an easy grade.

I think this class with professor Heuer is easy as long as you read all the instructions carefully. You have to make sure EVERYTHING you do is following all the instructions given. When you make a mistake she only refers you to the content so you can do it like the examples she gives. She is a little bit tough grader, but gives good feeback.

This class was super easy and I believe her grading was fair. Two 750 word essays, a ton of discussion posts, and no final exam or midterm. I would absolutely choose this professor again.

She is an amazing professor. She offers second chances if you do something wrong and reach out to her. She has a 24-hour late policy, which saved me so many times. She gave two extra credit assignments. She gives amazing feedback and truly cares. I would definitely take her again.

she's pretty easy to be honest. if you dont pass her class then i think it would be because you're lazy and don't actually like to read instructions or think for yourself. she only gives two papers to be done no quizzes or midterms and answers emails quickly most of the time on the same day.

She was an amazing teacher and gave feedback immediately. Honestly the class is impossible to fail unless you literally do nothing. She gave 2 essays and even gave extra credit opportunities to both. She gives amazing insightful feedback. I definitely would take her again.
