Works hard to help students learn, and is infinitely patient with explanations. Mandatory take-home quizzes serve as excellent test prep. No surprises or trick questions on tests; do the required work, show up to class, you'll do fine. Prof made econ very interesting, which is nothing short of a miracle for some of us.

She is a solid choice for a professor. Her lectures can be a bit confusing, but if you ask for clarification in class or privately she will spend time with you until you understand the concepts. Taking this class online was really what made it difficult for me. I really felt disconnected from the lessons and didn't feel that I was learning much from the stream videos opposed to just reading the powerpoints. This could be fault to an asynchronous format but it was definitely a difficult course for me.
