Knows his stuff well, if you are 19 looking for a easy A, pick something taught by someone else. Luc's goal is for you to leave having learned something and he will exhaust himself to that end. He should probably not be teaching undergrad economics -he should be teaching grad students seeking to really learn something. Would be good in MBA program.

He lets his ego get in the way of your grade. During the pandemic, He was curious on why students were doing good on his class so he change the syllabus to make the third exam the final a week before the exam and wrote all his own questions. 36 out of 100 students passed. He emailed us saying that was impressive. He let 64 students fail bc his ego.
