I love this professor! She makes learning French fun and interesting; it's not EASY, you still have to study, but she is really great. She's the one to take!

This class was my biggest worry during the beginning of the semester, but now it is a breeze. I think all foreign languages are hard to learn, but if you study in Mrs. Florido's class then you will pass. Also, do the extra credit. She offers a ton of it.

She is great! The class is not easy (sometimes we have lots of homework) but you learn a lot and she helps you if you need. Dr. Florido is nice, very capable and polite. Too bad some students are so annoying and rude and think they know it all.

FANTASTIC! She, is so funny, but that doesn't mean easy. SHe makes French very interesting, and no, her accent is not too heavy. She is definitely who you want to take French with.

She is cool and knows her stuff. I hope I have her throughout 222. The pace in the summer is crazy, but I feel I'm learning quite a lot.

She is pretty easy. As long as you answer in class, you'll get on her good side. She gives lots of Extra credit. She is super nice. You can get exempt from final if you have an A average.

She made French fun!

Everyday I pray so that the overhead screen will be rolled all the way up. Dr. Florido will then jump to get it. Don't help her and you will see what I mean. She is a wonderful teacher in all aspects of the word. She is the best.

Dr. Florido is a very animated, humorous, fun teacher; therefore, not surprisingly, her class is very interactive and low-stress. There is homework every day, but it is light and reasonable. I have learned quite a bit. The pace could be more rapid, but I only say that because I like a challenge.

She is animated and loves to teach what she knows best. The assigned hmwk lasts no longer than 10 minutes and her tests are pretty easy (she tells you what to expect on the exam). She's also got awesome fashion sense; I would recommend her to almost anyone!

She's a great teacher, but can drive you nuts. For her, a C is a “horrible” grade, a B is like a C and the only A she likes is above 95%. Then she can ask you do to the same thing five times, until it's "perfect." If you say you are trying your best, she'll tell you to try her best instead.

Dr. Lucy is not bad, but if you're not smart and have a job like me, stay away from her.she takes lots of your time.she also hates if you mumble. I was intimidated by her jumpy snappy way. she'll pick on you if you sound dumb.

She is the absolute best proffesor that I've ever personally had. I have learned an incredible amount of information and gained such a great understanding of the language with her as my teacher. A lot of the time she speaks the language you're studying so you have to keep your ears open. If you really are listening, you really begin to learn it.

Dr. Florido is one of a kind. She's really nice with athletes, what's just not like most profs. She understands that we need to go on trips and have to practice and do homework. I was behind a lot, but sheis just like my coach. She looks you right in the eye. You have to push yourself and try to do better. Her SIs are cool and super helpfull.

I had French in HS, but it was not at all like it's here. We have much more interaction and the teacher speaks French most of the time. The thing is: we all understand her. Florido is competent and cool. She's always uobeat, even when she's upset! I love her already!!!!!!!

She's a great teacher and surprinsingly cool if compared to the rest of the language dept. I thought she would be nasty, but I like her much more than X, Y and Z. I'm not the typical UTM student and Dr. Lucy understands it. She reviews alot, make us work with students who can help us and gives lots of opprtunity to improve our grade. She's a very good and caring teacher. She's funny and relax too.

I'm fresh out of hs and at first she was totally intimidating to me and I felt really terrified. Then, once you get over it you actually like her and feel comfortable in class. She treats all her students well and is a very confident person, what makes you feel confident too. She reviews quite a bit and has a good pace. Great teacher!

She's a good teacher and the most curious person I've ever met. Those eyes are killers! Florido is also suspicious of anything you tell her if you miss a bunch of classes. At the beginning of the semester I thought she was distant. I now know that she is really nice, cool and understanding. She is very good and as a future teacher I'm learning from her. I'm a girl, so I don't think she's hot, but I think she's cute, like My Little Pony. She is very smart too.

She's amazing. Great personality, clear, funny, good for the brain and the eyes. All you want in a teacher and more. She can nail me to the board, step on my foot, hit me with a quiz everyday and I still love her. Call me Pierre!

I actually think she's really helpful and understanding. Come to class, do your homework, see the si and don't complain about stuff. She told us to keep our "lamentations of Jeremiah" to ourselves. She's funny.

By far my favorite professor on the UTM Campus. She is incredibly intellegent and always is there for you if you need anything! She makes you work, but if you want to learn the language, she will get you there! I definitely recommend her!

She was my instructor last semester and again this semester. She's great, but only if you can handle intense people. She can be too energetic and stubborn for some and she tends to think too much about every little thing. She's funny and dorky. She'll flunk you for attendance, but if you come you will pass her class.

My favorite thing about her is how funny she is. However, she's also a great lecturer and very informative. Accessible outside of class and if you have an emergency she's understanding. Don't expect an easy A, though; you'll have to work for it. As long as you do the homework it's very possible to make an A.

I wish I had time to get a minor in French, but I'll be graduating in May. Dr. Florido is a very authentic person and a great teacher. I understand English grammar better now thanks to the way she explains French grammar. The Connect homework will make or break your grade. Do it! It actually helped me with my listening.

This is my second French class with Dr. Florido. She is my favorite professor. She grades super-fast and is very fair and helpful. I took Spanish in HS, so there's a lot of stuff that overlaps. I never thought I would do well in French. I had Spanish in high school and was bad at it. But Dr. Florido is very clear and gives a lot of sheets to help us. The book online is expensive, but you can't pass without doing the homework. Now I know that I can learn another language, even if I was bad at languages before. I'm more confident.

She is great and will further explain things if needed. Don't participate too much, but don't participate too little. Saw 2 girls get told to shut up because they participated too much.
