Your in a for a lot of work, yah.. But she's very lenient and friendly. When it comes time for finals, you won't have to stress. but get ready for a lot of homework and projects.

She is a cool professor. The class is easy but at the same time kind of hard. It's easy to get a good grade though. Her tests are somewhat difficult,especially if you dont study. Overall its a good class.

Awsome Professor. Finaly a Professor that is as good looking as she is brilliant. Only problem is my concentrating on the lecture and lab. She is just to HOT!!!

Prof. Parker is great! she's the kind of Prof. that other Prof.'s should take lessons from. she is friendly, inviting, & most importantly, loves what she does. she wants her students to actually learn what she's teaching. there's a lot of homework-its tedious- but not hard. i actually learned alot!

Like the others said, a lot of work! But the prof is really nice and cool. You need to do your work though, which isn't hard, but really tedious and long. Do your work and you do fine. The tests don't matter, they are 10% of your grade- the rest is all your work. Shes super cool.

She is great!!! You have alot of work, but its worth it esp if you dont know about computers. She is nice, understanding, funny and fun. You wont find a better, more helpful teacher that actually wants you to learn and isnt annoying about it.

Super class. Make sure you do your homework and SAM or else you won't do well. She loves what she teaches and is there to help. The best teacher I have had. This class helps you to understand software that you will need to use in life. Great class, fantastic teacher!

Prof Parker is a fantastic lady. She is vivacious and funny. It is impossible to fail this course! Just pass all quizzes, do all your assignments which don't even take up your time much, and come to class to do less work at home. She gives many extra credit opportunities. I highly recommend her :D

Teacher assisgns a lot of easy assignments for the most part. It is easy to get an A, just make sure to keep up with the work.

This teacher assigns a lot of homework but its easy homework just tedious. The tests are either open book or open internet. Easy class as long as you get the homework done. But YES there is tons of homework assigned. I got an A.

All of the information is fairly basic. She teaches a lot of background information on computers/internet that you will never need to know again. She assigns a decent amount of homework and quizzes, but accepts it really late without a penalty. Somewhat disorganized, but she wants you to do well. I got an A, but had to put forth some effort.

This class is an easy A if you do the work and keep up. A lot of online tutorials and tests using a simulator. I learned a lot. Also there are some group projects that are fairly easy...The book is ridiculously expensive though!

Professor Parker is very nice. Although she assigns a lot of pointless busy work and group projects. She is however, very lenient with late work. If you talk to her one-on-one she always tries to help out. I ended up getting an A in the class.

Lucy is an amazing professor she makes class so much fun and always makes sure her class is participating and interested. Shes very sweet and i love all her assigments!! Just make sure you bring your book she lets you use it for quizzes

Parker loves what she does and she loves her students. She is ery helpful and makes the class fun. She keeps the class active with a lot of busy (easy) work. It's an easy A if you keep up and buy the book.

Prof. Parker is a cool teacher, she is VERY LENIENT on late work. She always gives us time to catch up on work. Although this class is pretty easy, the work is very tedious.. there's HW on top of HW. I don't recommend this course at all, but if you must take it, take it with Prof. Parker.

Very good prof. Lots of class "busy work", but its not hard. The class is easy and I learned a lot. We do a lot of online quizzes and a couple projects. The final was a project and a 3 minute speech. Sometimes she is hard to understand. And sometimes appears to not understand her own material. But I would still recommend this professor. :)

Loved this class!!!!!! Super easy and the teacher is also super nice. There is a lot of work involved, so its very important to keep up with it because its easy to fall behind and the work will pile up. We had weekly quizzes from our book so its important to buy it. There was two parts to the final, a project and a power point presentation.

She is the director of communications which is great. Very nice, helpful, and absolutely hilarious! Tries to make class fun and interesting. Lets you do homework a good amount of class. There is a lot of work though, but it's all very important information for your future career. Understanding of late work and wants to give everyone an A! TAKE HER!

The best professor I had so far(I'm a freshmen in my 2nd semester). Very helpful with course material and assignments and really cares about each student's grade. Such a nice professor, she really cares about her students and will help them out with anything they might need or have a question about. Parker made the class fun and easy!

Microsoft Office based class. About 12 TIA quizzes which is open book and open internet. Requires some time outside class to complete the myitlab hw. Midterm & Final but the final is a take home project. Do the hw on time and you'll get an A. Offers so much extra credit it's ridiculous. If you get anything less than an A that's cuz you're lazy.

very funny and very lenient when it comes to due dates of assignments. the course is a lot of work if you don't pay attention and it's very easy to fall behind. i would recommend taking this professor to anyone who wants to take Comp 100. SHE IS AWESOME

Most of the class is on MYITLAB so you can do do most of the work at home. She offers a ridiculous amount of extra credit and most assignments are credit/no credit if its above 75%. Extremely easy class. You have so much room to fail assignments and still get an A.

It is a really easy class. Easy A. She makes the class interesting. She relates the lessons to real life situations so everyone could understand the topic. She gives a lot of extra credit. If you ask for help, she'd be more than happy to help.

This is class is a real breeze and she is super great. All the assignments are on MYITLAB so you really only have to show up when you have a quiz. You do have to "read" the textbook to pass the quizzes but even when you fail the quizzes she lets you retake them if you got a 65 or lower. Take her you won't be sorry.

She can help you if you're stuck and she knows her stuff. Its an easy class but when people say you have to do ALOT, you really do. But I think that's with this entire course, not just her class.

All work is done on computer. you can skip class and do the work in the lab or at home some other time but you have to be in class for the quizzes. Tests are hard (recreating flyers and powerpoints) but she gives extra credit assignments to cushion your grade. A lot of tedious work but it's not that hard

Prof. Parker is such a nice lady! She doesn't lecture, but instead uses an online website for interactive assignments. She is very lenient with due dates and accepting past due assignments. She gives extra credit too! NO reason why anyone should get lower than an A! Just show up for the open-book quizzes and do the assignments! Take her!

Prof. Parker is amazing, she is very clear on what she expects from us as students. She is very nice about expanding due dates. Most of the class time she does not lecture, gives more time to finish any assignments that have not yet been fully completed. I Would highly take her for an easy A or B. Your grade is depended on pretty much YOU.

Parker is a great professor. She is very understanding. If she sees we did poorly on a quiz she will allow us to retake it. If she sees we need more time on an assignment she would extend the due date. The assignments are annoying and time consuming to do but if you do them all you will get an A. AMAZING professor. I took her comp 100 class as a business requirement, but if I was a computer science major, I wish I could take all my classes with her! The nature of this class is time consuming. You are expected to turn in multiple assignments every time you meet. Lucy is my favorite CSUN professor so far. She is very helpful and wants every student to succeed. She is clear about her expectations and will always go out of her way to help you. She is my WCW.

I loved her. She was my favorite professor this semester. Really laid back and caring. The class is time consuming but she was the only professor to finish the syllabus before the final. Two projects: one group project and one group-optional project. Amazing teacher, you'll be lucky to get her.

Best Professor, easy to communicate with and her class is not hard if the hard work is being put by the student. Also her quizzes is every Thursday and it is OPEN BOOK. Another great thing about the class is that she EXTENDS due dates for assignments so there is no excuse to not get it done. I highly recommend her class to anyone!

Best professor at csun. Really easy class and gives alot of extra credit. You might have alot of stuff to do weekly but its really easy and fast.

You have to try not to get an A. She's the sweetest and the best professor at CSUN. She gives extra credit and you can turn in late work. There is a lot of tedious and boring work but that's the course and not her. Very very very easy class.

Best professor at CSUN. As long as you are persistent, miss a minimal amount of class, and do the easy assignments that are required on time, you will pass with an "A" guaranteed. She also offers a lot of extra credit so take advantage of the opportunities.

Fantastic professor. She gives extra credit, which can really boost your grade up. The Microsoft office assignments could get a bit annoying and tedious as they show up about twice a week, but nothing too bad and she helps when there are issues. Kind and funny.

I liked her class so much that i had an uncomfortable schedule just to take comp100 with her .She is so fun and considering , dont abuse that by being late and skipping homework, do what you have to do ,She is caring . you get sick? she make sure to keep check by sending emails keeping up.
