THICK ACCENT. HOWEVER, SHE GIVES AWAY SOOOOO OMUCH EXTRA CREDIT POINTS ON THE EXAM. I DO NOT KNOW HOW I MANAGED TO STAY AWAKE 85% OF THE TIME BUT I DID IT. I GOT A B- READ THE BOOK AND STUDY HER CHAPTERS OUTLINES AND YOU WILL PASS THE TESTS.
terrible teacher, very unclear, dont ask any questions because she will just confuse you further. I had better teachers in elementary school. Stay away from her if you would actually like to learn something.
I want my $2100 back (due to lack of content) and another 2 million for emotional distress. Easy A but I would rather have the hardest teacher at Embry (I might actually learn something, what a novel idea).
What can I say "its all about pizza's" in this class. It's a boring pre-req. With an easy grade at the end.
(Use her accent) Please, there are 60 people in this class. If we are all getting up walking around, then you know what. So please do. Loves to talk about Alan Greenspan and Fiscal Policy. Sometimes hard to follow. You better remember what your number is.
as much fun as a sack full of wet bricks. The only way you will ever understand anything is by reading the book which is far more entertaining then her.
Very thick Polish accent, spells Marx as "Marcks", but a very easy class if you can stay awake.
easy A, sometimes hard to understand, but if you read the book for the test you will be fine.
Make sure you bring a pillow to class!!! Pretty boring class and very hard to pay attention to! Class was waste of time!

Two words...absolutely aweful. Whatever you do, dont take this teacher!!! You wont learn a thing. Easy subject but dont bother trying to stay awake with her. Hard to understand too.

If not a required class and only teacher during this time, I would not be taking her class. Ecomonics is so boring and having a teacher that you can't understand is not very helpful. She covers the same crap over and over agian.

Wish I had found out about her before I took the class. Very hard to understand and I spent most classes drawing crap. Easy material though. Oh yea one last thing "Please do remember your double digit number" You do not have a name in her class

Might not be the most entertaining class, but she actually TRIES and WORKS HARD for the class. That alone earns quite a bit as most teachers here couldn't give a darn about the school and will just give you a poor grade. She's the opposite.

Horrible teacher. I never went to her class and still got an A though. (3.7 student keep in mind) cant understand her, you will not learn anything. Take only if you have to.

She is a nice professor, but not very clear. Make sure you study the book because that's what the exams are based on. Also, make sure you do the homework since she collects it. You'll do fine if you do that as well as reading the book.

Hard to understand. Nice person but strong Polish accent. Not very clear and is a little disorganized and hard to communicate with.
She is sooo unclear because she can't speak english! She has no idea what she is talking about, but her tests are really easy because they're multiple choice with only two options!
Don't listen to any of these kids. Her accent is strong but she is still easy to understand. Stay's after and helps you if u need it and her door is always open for students. Test are a bit rough but she grades projects easily to make up for the c's on the test.

She's not bad. Multiple choice test with only 2 answers to chose from... Yeah, her accent is a little strong, but it's Riddle. Take good notes and study, Easy. Compared to what my friends say about other EC prof... i'd take her again.
Nice lady, fairly easy tests, easy overall, but the class is very booooring. Do yourself a favor and take on Tuesdays/Thursdays if you can.

Her tests are easy, but it's hard to understand her, and she doesn't really teah she just talks and doesn't give you time for notes. She isn't good with answering questions either..if you can take someone else....DO IT!!
Good teacher, she knows her material and to offset the communication problem she's always willing to help in any way to push your grade up. She's a little boring, yes, but you do get something out of her classes. So disregard the above comments that complain about accents and language when the people posting the comments can’t even spell!!
Still teaching? Had her years ago! Her accent was funny! She lectures too much in a monotonic voice that puts you to sleep. I remember a guy infront of my on the right who dreweled one time! Tests were ok. Pronounciation of gasoline is funny!
She lectures, she only used PowerPoint twice during the whole semester. You have to translate her accent to english a write what she's saying. Although I heard she's the Best of the Worst.
Hard to understand, and she goes over the same material again and again, unfortionatly it isn't whats on the test. Her answers to questions have nothing to do with the question being asked. Don't make the mistake I did, buy the book and teach yourself. Although without the book, I still managed to do ok.

she is seriously the worst! i dropped her class after being in it for 3 days. you cant understand what she is saying and goes way to fast to take any notes. dont take this class if you can help it. this class is just a way to lower your GPA!
Kornecki is a nice enough lady, but she makes no sense. She spends the whole period babbling about the economies of Europe and Russia, which has nothing to do with what we need to learn. Someone needs to tell her to get her act together because she is wasting all of our time and money.
She's got problems! I wish she would be a little nicer to the students who are paying her salary. If anyone asks a question in class, she flies off the handle and says mean, belittling things to them, and never answers the question, yet she gets mad that no one ever asks questions. gee, I wonder why?
Professor is difficult to understand. I didn't pay attention in class, read book, and got an A. Tests are not hard, just worded funny. It's an easy class if you either pay attention or read book.
Shes just wow! She talks about Lucky Charms and Bubble Bath...she talks about her husband and her in the gear bay of a plane...HSe picks her nose when you tell her your going on a trip...and she goes off the deep end over random crap...if nothing else entertaining and fun to make fun of but other then that...SUCKS!
Ms. Kornecki is a really great professor. She works hard to make sure students understand. Her tests are easy and her class is interesting. I would take here again.
Hard to understand her accent, but you can tell that she enjoys the subject. Bring a pillow because you'll get powerpointed to death - she won't gripe at you for putting your head down. Fairly easy tests - lots of two choice multiple choice and gives extra credit. It's an easy A or B, but you probably won't learn a whole lot.
First two weeks are not starting off well. She normaly blabers on seems like a great person but 99.9% class falls asleep becuase her method of taching is EXTREAMLY boaring and painfull!

Professor Kornecki knows her stuff but doesn't know how to present it to her students in a clear way. I made a B on everything I did in her class and attendance is mandatory. If you have more than three absences she docks points off your final average. She's not as bad as people make her out to be though.
She's really not as bad as people say she is. She definitely knows her stuff. Her accent is hard to understand at first, but once you get used to it, you'll be fine. The material isn't hard, you just have to read the book on your own. If you show any interest in your grade at all she will do anything she can to help you. Easy A or B.
Heavy accent. Material can be confusing if you don't pay attention. She gives four tests, tons of little quizzes, and a big final project. If you study up you shouldn't be too bad but definitely pick someone else if you can.
She knows her stuff but presents it to the class in a unorthodox way. Can be confusing at times but she is always there to help to you and will go the extra step for you. Pay attention in class show up and you will easily get a B

AWFUL! Reads off the computer the entire time. She doesn't understand anything if its not on the ppts. She also thinks poland is the greatest country in the world. She likes to brag about how she has taught the US economy abroad (this scares me because she really knows nothing). Tests are easy if you read the ppts, just dont expect to learn anythin

Never answers students questons, very unorganized, reads the powerpoints, spend too much time explaining what she will be teaching instead of just teaching.

The easiest class in Embry-Riddle.
Really not a great teacher. Pushes students out of her office before they can finish their questions. If you want to feel like you're bothering your teacher - take this class.
Easy A if you just study the Power Point slides and take notes in class. Only used textbook to verify some take home quizzes. If you get to know her and respect her, you will understand that she is very educated on the subject.
If you pay attention in class an dread the PPT's slides you will do just fine. You do have to study, so do not blow it off. Take home quiz about once a week. Same questions are on Mid-Term and Final test. If you take the time to get to know her, she is very knowledgeable and a published author on the subject. If you speak polish that is a plus

Lectures are pretty dry but how can you make economics exciting? She will go out of her way to help everyone understand the material. Idk what the big complaint is the WSJ subject, she gets info from there cause its a reputable source. And about not understanding her accent, it is heavy but really not that hard to understand her. Very knowledgeable
She can be confusing sometimes. But, she will help you for sure.
Don't know what I was thinking taking here. Should of listened to my friends. She is very hard to understand and sometimes i think she even confuses herself along with the students. Do yourself a favor and take EC210 or EC211 with someone else than EC200. Horrible class!
Will put you to sleep... every class.
Many people probably have rated this professor low, because they have trouble with her Slavic accent. She comes from Poland, get over it! Additionally, because she seems so easy going, they attempt to sleep or not participate in class. Wrong answer. If you apply yourself, you can get above 100%, easy. This was the easiest class I've ever taken.
Her lectures aren't the most exciting but the class is super easy. The powerpoints are enough to study for the tests and she gives study guides. Also her homework questions are basically the ones she puts on the test. The only trouble is trying to ask her questions is difficult because english isn't her first language. Otherwise, decent prof.
