she says all the things we need to hear about this country and makes a great english teacher as well...the thing i liked about her is she didn't just teach english , she taught about the real world, anyone who had a problem should've dropped the class

She rocks! People who say she gets on her soapbox too much don't realize that that's what literature is: confrontation. She doesn't bad mouth the USA, but she does try to make people think. The nerve! Thinking in college!!!

Dr. Bohne was dynamic and energetic. She made an effort to engage and challenge our class. I am sorry I don't have the opportunity to take another class with her.

Loved this woman! She is eccentric and extremely intelligent. Very helpful and dedicated to make sure students do well in her classes. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking something different and enlightening.

Wonderful!! Deep understanding of literature! Promotes discussion in class! Profound thoughts spill out of this professor. Students just need to speak up and get the conversation rolling.

She may be scatterbrained but if you hang on you learn a lot. She understands the work in other classes and even outside class. She is kind hearted and willing to do anything for you if you ask. She brought about a new outlook on modern lit. for me.

Had her for lit of classical world. fun class, good movies too. i think she is opinionated, but someone needs to be. taker her, you'll have fun.

She is really nice. Very grandmotherly in every way. I thought I wouldn't like her scattered mindedness, but she won me over just by being nice to everyone, almost every day.

Wow. I had this prof almost 10 years ago (Fall 1994). I remember liking her a lot and learning how to write. I remember that she didn't like students wearing hats to class and wearing them backwards. Keep that in mind :) Good Prof!

A Very nice and caring professor. She doesn't assign a lot of work, a very easy A.

excellent lit prof, do not take writing w/ her. will expect intelligent students who are willing to work. she is knowledgable and loves classic lit. read the material, listen to lectures, attend every class, and have an intelligent opinion, you'll be ok.

I want to adopt her as my grandmother. I absolutely fell in love with her, her class is easy, no tests just a few papers....super easy. I loved her class!!!!!

I think that she is one of the nicest professors up here. Her class was pretty easy but when she talks she tends to jump from one subject to another and the subjects usually aren't connected at all. A very easy A.

Well, she is insane, liberal, and cracks me up. i always do well on the papers, but the tests are a bit hard at times...a good majority of the class doesn't do too well on them. It's still a fun class to be in. I would reccomend taking her.

Professor Bohne is a very nice lady. She is caring and helpful. She want's you to do well, she is easy but her tests are a little confusing. All in all an esay A or B.

A funny person, she is some what scattered but she isnt that hard quizes out of the book, they are easy. Has no final and will help you with anything. She gives you the great you deserve. I recomend her!!

She is a wonderful professor! Passionate about what she teaches and her students. She does expect you to work - but- isn't that what college is about? She rewards students who do read and strive to learn and appreciate(easy to do) the material. I've decided to change my concentration area because she has inspired me and I now love the classics!

She is a wonderful, warm, passionate professor! This lady really loves what she does and it shows. She doesn't just teach - this is her life! Amazing! I would take her again in a minute!

At First she comes off as a **** but does it on purpose, she does not want to be taken advantage of. She is always there to help anyone who wants it as long as you go to her office hours and follow her rules in class. I almost droped out of her class untill she let her guard down and after that i loved her!

Decent class. If you go to class and participate a little you will get a good grade. She goes off on a tangent every now and then, but she does keep things interesting.

a lot of ppl complain about her methods but all you have to do is lean back just listen. you can get her to run off into tangents about other subjects but that just makes it more fun. NO HOMEWORK. Plus if you talk to her she WILL help you individually. you just have to do it on her time not yours. She isnt very clear though but it wasnt a problem.

She is by far the best teacher I have had so far with my college experience. She has a tremendous amount of knowledge and cares about being a teacher. She is a bit crazy but she knows it and doesn't apologize for it. Not a difficult concept... do what you are supposed to and you'll ace the class.

She is so nice, how do you not like her? She is so smart and very caring. You can voice your opinions and she will listen and go with them, you dont have to worry about pleasing her you can be yourself. She is great.

She's the type of person I would want to get to know outside of the classroom. She's wishywashy and unclear at times....but she's an extremely nice professor...Suprising enough to learn that they don't have penut butter in Europe....Or at least when she was growing up.

Bohne was a bit scattered, but only because she is trying to sort through all that she knows, which is a ton! Intelligent, can be very cutting though, if she doesn't like your comments. Gets political, and you will learn about elitists! Class was interesting, tests mult. choice, no final, enjoyed thoroughly! Nice lady as well!!!

If I knew as much and understood as much as she did, I'd have trouble expressing it all once in a while too. Yes, you have to really listen, because she has a lot to say, but she is SO brilliant and SO compassionate and just completely amazing. . . the best!

Luci is a great lady i loved her. granted she is a little nutty but great dont expect to be in class the hole time always get out early

She seems hard on those who slack off or disrespect her but it is well deserved. She is actually really nice to people who do what they are supposed to and don't disrupt class.

She was amazing. She was very understanding, and very helpful. She has a passion for what she teaches you can hear it in how she speaks. She can be slightly dramatic but I ended up passing with a B and she really respects you if you try. I missed class but a few time but very understanding. Just try to keep up with the readings. Def. one of my favs

Wasn't my favorite. She's a nice lady and you can tell she enjoys teaching. She can be unclear and gets confused a lot. She always let us leave class early because she "needed to collect her thoughts". Pretty easy class all together if you put in the work. She'll definitely help you if you need it! But she gives everyone C's on the papers.

Bohne can seem intimidating because she often appears confused and over-whelmed with thoughts. In reality she is actually very nice and sweet.She will appreciate your effort and enjoys discussions about many topics.She is very cultured and passionate about many topics and issues. If she see's that you are too, she will def. respect you.

SO EASY!! Work very hard on your first essay, whatever you get on that one will determine how she sees you as a student, I don't think she reads past the first page of anyone's essays. She bought u pizza everytime we turned in an essay and ALWAYS let us out early if we asked, very eccentric and nice, take her if you can she's the best!

Love love love her! Yes, if you mess around or don't come to class you will suffer, but if you do the right things she is awesome! Helped me out whenever I needed it and was always so funny.
