Super cool professor. If you try in the class, the worse you will get is a B. He cares about his students. I don't like accounting, but I liked his class. He is always there to help is you need. He curves if need be. He is down to earth. Take him, you will not go wrong.

Great professor, you take an open book quiz every week, except when watching a movie (like three per semester). He discuss the quiz after taking it. He allows one make up. Nice personality, no attitude person! You will learn about business law!"All rise!"

He is really nice professor. Each week there will be a quiz with open book. There will be some tricky questions so I highly recommend to read and understand the chapter. He review each question after the quiz. If you miss a quiz, you will have to do the final exam that might cover last two chapters, so try not to miss class. Do your best and believ

This professor is AMAZING! He is soooo helpful, charming, and super funny. He truly cares about your grade and wants you to pass. His tests are multiple choice (less than 35 questions) and he lets you use one sheet of paper back and front with notes and examples. He curves ALL your test drastically! I took two classes with this professor, Business Law I, and Tax 2010. There are some genius in the subject and the worst as teachers. Dr. Arritola has a lot of experience in the field and a great knowledge, as Lawyer and CPA and working for IRS, etc.You cannot expect any better,plus he is an excellent teacher and helpful with students.Great!

The subject matter by far is not easy but the Professor does a great job in clarifying as well as teaching. Do all of the exercise problems as well as study the book; make certain to attend class and you should be successful.He is an awesome professor! Take his cclass and you are sure to be successful.

professor Arritola is an awesome teacher! I want to take all courses taught by him.

He teaches at Nova, UM & MDC. He has his own firm and has a law degree. He's a smart professor and will explain all material needed. He allows a cheat sheet and usually curves the exams. 5 exams make up your grade and he takes attendance into consideration. The exams are from a test bank which is easier than a teacher creating the questions.

Professor Arritola is the best professor I ever had during my Taxation Master Degree. I took most of my subjects with him. Attorney, CPA, MBA plus 30 years at the IRS. Clear explaining, interesting classes, knows everything and mainly, he is a real gentleman at helping and grading.

Attendance not mandatory. Real nice guy with sharp sense of humor. I wouldn't have passed Accounting if it weren't for his sensible tests and helpfulness. His lectures don't cover a lot of material but he is VERY helpful. no homework or quizzes just exams with a one page cheat sheet you can bring.

Accounting is a tough subject and you have to be serious about studying. This course is excellent and Professor Arritola is the best. He helps you get thru and learn. If you don't study you'll have a hard time because that's how accounting is.

He is very knowledgeable, and you learn the basics but not a lot. It is an easy accounting class. I recommend it if you are not into the major but you have to take it. Only 5 tests, he let you use a cheat sheet and curves the grade.

Prof. Arritola is very helpful. Expect hard quizes every week but you can find it on quizlet .com and online. He will give a chance to earn extra credit by doing taxes on vita.

Arritola knows what he's talking about. He's very smart, has a lot of experience, and can answer pretty much any accounting question. I wouldn't say he's an amazing prof and his lectures are quite boring. The class is pretty easy, but you will have to read the textbook or use quizlet for his tests. He curves his tests quite a bit!

Accounting is a very difficult subject and I would say that prof Arritola is amazing because he makes the subject seem reasonably easy.

I couldn't praise this professor enough. He is not just an extremely versed CPA but also an Attorney and an IRS supervisor. He will explain the complexities of the tax code from an accounting perspective, a law perspective, and a policy-making perspective. He knows the subject's ins and outs, and he doesn't get rattled by complex questions. Amazing

Professor Arritola is an expert in Tax Law and is able to explain it clearly. He is fair and impartial. He is also sensitive all types of students and treats students with great respect. There is a lot to be learned from Prof. Arritola - not only about law, but about being a really good human being. To me, he is a role model.

I cannot find the words to describe how wonderful he is as a person and as a professor. I can only tell you that I would take a class with him a thousand times, he cares about teaching, he is supportive and kind, he is always willing to help you. Your class is divided into 3 tests of 30% each and 10% attendance. This professor is the best!
