A very patient and understanding teacher. Will help you with any questions and is very clear on what he expects. If the class doesn't understand a section he will delay the test until he feels everyone understand the material. Highly recommended.

Mr. Enriquez is a GREAT MATH TEACHER! I highly reccommend taking his classes. He will work with you at all costs. He has delayed tests and homeworks to meet your expectations. If you have a problem he will address it. Very orgainized and good grading method. He drops the lowest test score, and lets you make up the second lowest. TAKE HIS CLASS

This teacher is cool. He is nice and laid back. Statistics is a hard class in general. But as a teacher he doesnt make it any harder than it has to be. I was doing really crappy but he was very forgiving with grades in the end.

He is a great teacher. Hes mellow. He doesnt stray off course and sticks to math and what the class is working on. Which is good because people can get confused when teachers do that. I highly recommend him and If you think he sucks then good luck cause your most likely not find a better math teacher.

He basically copies notes and problems from the book onto the board the entire lecture, but he does explain the problems when students ask questions. Not too much homework and the tests are not too difficult.

Really good math teacher, he actually explains the work. He is kind of funny too. Homework isn't bad, he only made us do the odd questions.

Mr. Enriquez is someone who can teach you Math without losing you. In short: he makes Math really simple and possibly, a bit enjoyable. He's very clear, organized and offers his help when you need it. You need a good professor in Math or you're pretty much screwed, you know this! And you know, he's a nice guy.. take his class!

I thought this class was going to be so boring and I would hate it. I actually liked this class. He is very helpful and does not have a horrible accent like most of the math teachers. Do the homework!!!

Always makes sure you understand what he is saying. sometimes he will spend half the class just explaining it so that it sinks in.

He is the best Math teacher in the world I took Math 70 in the summer and he was great. I love him. If you struggle with Algebra take this man, he understands you dont know and he will do all he can to help you

AWESOME teacher! he's here to help. sometimes he gets a little mixed up with his words but he's a great guy. gives study guides which are old tests and is willing to waive grades and help u out a little with ur GPA depending on ur class performance and attendance! gotta love him!

great teacher, very patient. drops lowest test grade. hands out practice tests before every test. i was affraid of this class but im happy to rreport that i passed with an 88% if you do the hw and the practice tests then you will pass too =)

Good teacher for Statistics. Very thorough in teaching each step, and goes over any problems a student may have had on the homework. Gives a practice test that is very much like the actual test. Go to class, pay attention and do your homework, and an A or B in this class is likely. There is also a lot of tutoring available in SI lab.

His Class Is Easy!! Homework is online 100% on all of them is simple. Tests are short & only on what you've learned. His accent can be hard to understand but he still is great at explaining the material step by step. I earned a easy A!! C:

Mr. E. this guy is such a great teacher. For anyone who is bad in math, he's your guy. Textbooks were never used in this class, all homewokr is done online. He drops 5 homework quizes nd drops 1/5 test. If you miss too many classes he will drop you. Yes, he has an accent but will go over problems if you need him to. Take him you wont regret it ! :D

I took his statistics class this semester and didn't find it too hard, I'll come out with either a high B or low A and I'm not the greatest in math. If you're an AP or IB student, this class should be easy for you. If you're a slacker who doesn't know much about math, perhaps this isn't the teacher for you. And yes, this class does involve work.

This class was pretty easy.Take notes.Try not to miss class.But he was really nice and DOES review probs if you ask him.He cant read your mind.Iended up with a B,i had an A b4 the final but whatev.He uses the book for hw &gives hw in advance.Practice tests help alot.Really good easy to pass class.& dont wait till last min to do hw haha.Probs r long

OMG!! LOVED LOVED LOVED him! He wasn't completely easy but not completely hard either! Very helpful if you need it, very nice! Has a bit of an accent that is sometimes hard to understand but you always get what he's trying to say. Would definately recommend him!

Awesome professor!!! take him. typical math class take notes, hw, quiz, test. He can be fun. Never makes students uncomfortable by putting them on the spot.

Great teacher who knows his stuff. He is very good about explaining and if you don't understand, just ask! He has a very subtle sense of humor that gets you everytime :) There is a lot of homework, but it's easy if you are the kind of person who doesn't wait until the very last minute to do it.

He is such a great teacher. Veryyy helpful. I was so scared of taking the class because i mostly dont like word problems. But he made it so easy to understand. He gives study guides which are like the same problems in the test for final just study all your test, HW are always do on fridays. Really easy class

Professor Enriquez is a decent instructor albeit not the most ecstatic lecturer. His lectures run dry; at times he can be unapproachable to the point of rudeness but he can be helpful during lectures as he never minds re-explaining for students lagging behind. Exams are difficult although reviews often mirror exams. In the end he's good, take him.

the class overall is easy, hes not the greatest lecturer for the fact that he does have a strong accent and like all math teachers their lectures are examples right from the book, so any questions can be figured out on your own which is what i did most of the time. he assigns A LOT of hw but it helps a lot if you do it. he grades easily so take him

This teacher is Awesome! He really does care about his students even though. There's 6 tests most are easy. If you do not understand something he will use many different methods to help you understand better. He also takes in consideration your subjection on what he should do to improve the class, if its a good idea he'll do it.

The class I had was basically like an online class, but you had to come to school. lol He did not really, but he did come to you if you needed some assistance. In my case all the material was still fresh in my mind from high school, so I didnt really need him. But he seems like a nice guy.

Took Mr. Enriquez for statistics. I'm not very good at math but he was, by far, the best math teacher I've ever had. VERY clear and keeps it simple. Got an A. I definitely recommend him.

Had him for Spring. I liked that he was very clear but we had NO review for a cumulative final. 4 test & a lot hw & quizzes online.

4 test and homework & quizzes were online. That was the easy part. He surprises you with the 10 question final with NO review! It was horrible. I went from an A to a C after the final because I failed. Take someone else!

Luis Enriquez helped me out greatly toward the end of the semester which helped me pass the course.

Professor Enriquez is the absolute best teachers we were blessed to know!! Not just in math but he has overall high quality!!! You math isn't easy for you take his class he will give you the tools you need to pass, of course you have to do the work! But really he will go above and beyond he really cares about his students!! I absolutely love him!

Professor Enriquez was very informative and very helpful. he explained the math problems extensively. he gives quizzes every two weeks, to make sure everyone was up to par. he looks for participation, but be prepared to work. If your looking for an easy A, this is not the class for you. Be prepared to learn.

He's a very straight forward teacher and he explains things really well, but his lectures can be boring. All of his homework and quizzes are online which I didn't mind, but some people don't like. I would take him again if I had to. :)

Mr. Enriquez is a great teacher. He always makes the effort to clarify things and makes sure his students are ready for the tests. And there really aren't many tests. Doing the homework is essential since class isn't that long and naturally... there isn't time to go over EVERY single detail. I would definitely take him again!

This teacher isn't the most interesting but I took his online class so it wasn't so bad. You just need to do all your homework and quizzes online and then show up for 3 tests which are all extremely easy. Do not talk or he will give you a harder version with more questions.

Professor Enriquez has a great way of explaining statistics. He is very clear about what will be covered on the exams and if you understand the homework then you will do well in the class. He would answer any questions about homework in class and would take the time to teach people how to use their calculators.

This class was difficult because of the subject matter, not the professor. He gave clear directions and steps for each section we went over and gives you a good idea what will be on the tests (3 exams and a final). Homework/Quizzes are online and he grades through the mymathlab. Don't be afraid to ask for extra help. Offers a few extra credit

I took mr. Enriquez for 115 and he was by far the best professor I've had at AVC. He took the time to explain things I didn't understand and loved answering questions students had. He goes over the material several times but if you don't show up you won't pass.

I took his online class and it was super easy. The textbook and course was all online. Just do the homework and online quizzes, show up 4 times throughout the semester to take the tests and you're done. Super easy and he gives extra credit quizzes and test right before the final to help boost your grade. If you do your homework, the tests are easy.

Mr. Enriquez was the first math teacher I have had in my life that actually took the time to explain things when I didn't understand the material. He is willing to work with your learning style and if you get to class early, he will ask you if you have any questions. He's a great professor and truly cares for his students. Awesome class!

Professor Enriquez is a good professor. For this class, they made learning easy and straightforward for me. I learned a lot about statistics and I think this is a great skill to have in life to be able to analyze effectively information that is put in front of us, especially with the rise of fake news!

This prof explains all math problems step by step. If you ask questions he'll redo the problem until you get it. He's also very good about meeting after class. I would take him again. Tests are not hard since he explains everything thoroughly. The online math program to do HW is $100 mandatory!

Professor Enriquez was honestly the best professor there is when it comes to taking a math course. He explains his material clearly and he is always willing to hep you. Doing homework is mandatory if you want to earn an A, his tests are very simple and he provides a study guide that is very similar to his test.

Professor Enriquez is an awesome stats teacher. His teaching is clear and straight to the point makes stats easy to understand. You do have homework for each chapter and quizzes that are done online. The tests are taken in class which he provides study guides for. He also lets you use a index card to write down any calculator steps.

Best math teacher at AVC in my opinion. On time for every class doesnt get off topic. You need the program for hw and quizzes . As long as you study for tests youll be fine. 3 tests and an optional test online that will replace lowest test score if you do it. Answers all qs and will redo a problem if you dont understand something.

Excellent Teacher, on time, study guides, will replace lowest test grade with an optional online test which u get 5 tries on. He is very clear and easy to follow in his lectures. Do the optional test and fill out the sample test which he gives u the answer too during his lectures. Getting a B is a breeze if u do the above.

Good Professor overall. Gets through the course material efficiently but also makes sure to stop and answer questions. Tests aren't too difficult but if you want to understand the material and pass with at least a C I recommend attending his lectures.

He's a really normal guy. No professor megalomania and he won't hesitate to explain things in a different way so each student can not just solve the problem but actually understand how they work. He's got his own sense of humor and all in all I enjoyed his class. He actually sounds a bit like Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Gives you every opportunity to pass. 4 tests with very helpful study guides, quizzes and homework online through mystatlab (he also got us a reduced price), opportunity to rent calculators. make sure you go to class and do the practice problems with him to fully learn, dont be afraid to ask questions

Unless u are a genius at math u have to go, he gives all the shortcuts to understanding the problems in his lectures. Homework from online mandatory. Tests are same questions from study guides. Ask questions he has no problem repeating information. Be on time he starts lecture on time. Graphing calculator mandatory, can rent from school.

I really enjoyed having him as my teacher! For me he was my 1st teacher going back to college after 8 years not being in school. He does have a strong accent, but I was able to understand what he was saying. Also, the awesome thing about his teaching, would give us the practice test and it will literally look exactly like the test! Great guy to try

Spring2017 He expects you in class but does understand when you can't make it. Do the homework ahead of time because it is alot if you do it in one seating. Explains very well. The homework is harder than the test. He is very nice. Goes at a good pace but be ready to write down and not mess around doddling because it can be alot to write sometimes.

So I failed Math 102 and had to retake it. This professor actually explained Math in a way that was easy for me to understand! Not only that but his tests are the same as the practice tests with different numbers of course. So you knew what to expect and what to study for. I passed with a B! I took him again but this time for Statistics.

I took Statistics for summer school so it was a LOT of homework and tests were back to back, but this professor took the time to go over the material we needed to know. I suck at Math but he made it easy to understand! The tests are the same as his practice test with different numbers so that helped so much!

Honestly a key to passing this class is mandatory attendance , GRAPHING CALCULATOR and paying attention all class. Keep up with homework and quizzes which are online and you should be good. He is a bit intimidating but overall he is nice. Do recommend on taking him!!

His accent scared me a bit but later on in the semester I realized that it wasnt a problem at all. All homework/quizzes are online and before tests he gives you study guides(super helpful). Its also adorable how he will make jokes sometimes but no one was paying attention because they were too busy writing down notes lol

Best Stats Professor at AVC hands down. if you struggle with math then this professor is for you! he is awesome, he answers every students questions, patient, and wants us to learn. Take his class!!!

Made statistics easy for me to understand. You need to purchase a $55 Pearson Math Lab for the class for textbook/ hw. Hw is pretty heavy, tests are easier than hw. Quizzes online are based off hw. He doesnt mind helping students, however can be short. Do yourself a favor & get the calculator TI 84. Can rent from school.

He is absolutely great! He will guide you every step of the way. This subject is difficult for many, including myself. But he was such a breath of fresh air. He has a slight accent but he doesnt mind repeating himself if asked politely. Tons of homework but it helps a lot for test day. Dont skip classes you will be lost instantly. Highly recommend.

Really cares for his students passing. He will repeat himself if someone doesn't understand and asks for help. After every lesson, there is a hw assignment online, once the chapter is over, there's a a short quiz online. tests are based on practice test. heavy lecture, i was constantly writing notes. He doesn't tolerate side conversation.

His hw and test are on Pearson now (since the pandemic) Tips: Do every single hw assignment and quiz online. (The system gives you multiple try's) do not move on until you get 100% on everything. If you can do his study guides, you will ace the test. Although he makes things easy, It's not an easy subject. You have to put in the work to understand.

He is a caring teacher but I felt it was too much homework. Just like every teacher out there I am sure he is a better teacher in person class versus online.

He is the best I hate Math but i he made me like it plus Im new In usa and English is not my Language but I did understand him well and In all the exams with him got an A .

I 100% recommend taking him. God bless him. Not going to lie in the beginning the class was a bit tough but the more we got into it the easier it was. He made statistics really easy to learn and was extremely fair especially with whats on the tests/final. Take him.

If youre taking his online class, I suggest not to get behind because each lesson of each chapter has a homework 10-15 questions and has a quiz 4-5 questions. You do have to buy a program which helps ALOT with the quizzes and homeworks. He goes over most of the homework. Easy class especially for stats. 10/10 helpful teacher and helps you.

Honestly, I learned through the Pearson program. I found that he went too quickly during lectures so I just ended up teaching myself the material. He allows for unlimited tries on the homework, three attempts on quizzes, and 2 attempts for the tests. The book/program is soooo helpful.

Great professor for Stats!! 10/10 recommend & those who rate lower either didn't ask questions or didn't show up for lecture. You buy a program for hw & it helps with exams!! He always asks if you have questions and even does hw with you during class. Very understanding & drops lowest quiz score and offers an easy extra credit assignment.

The program he uses is very helpful with the homework and could also help with the test if you take good notes. I believe if it wasn't for the program he used I would have failed the class considering I am not so good with math. Great class!

Professor Enriquez was one of the greatest professor I've taken. I took him during the summer so there was tons of hw to do in a short period bc the class was a month long. Totally worth it! Hw and test all due online on Mylab. Gave great youtube videos on discussions to help solve problems. As well mylab has great step by step tutorial to help.

Chill, laid back class. If you work best independently, and do well with teaching yourself, this is the class for you. Professor Enriquez himself is really understanding if something comes up and you need to be absent. You can even make arrangements to take a make up test if need be. He's cool. It's just that it's a very independent style class.

Real easy class, just pay attention when he goes over the ways to do the homework in stat crunch and you will ace this class. didnt even need to take notes

Took Enriquez back in 2017. Awesome Math Professor. He explained things thoroughly, tested on what he taught, questions were reasonable. He did go fast sometimes however he was willing to answer questions, emails, and even stayed after class. Came back to rate him b/c he is great at explaining & students deserve to know who is worth taking.

This was a very easy going, straightforward class. He gave us the opportunity to retake tests at home if we didn't pass them in class. All homework and tests online. Gives us plenty of time the whole class to complete homework and showed us breakdown of lessons. OVERALL I RECOMMEND this teacher if math isn't your best subject!!

This was a very straightforward class. He gives us opportunity to retake tests at home if we didn't pass them in class or if we missed the class. Gives time the whole class to complete homework. All homework and tests online which helps a lot! He also will go over the homework in class, breakdown lessons, and do problems with the class if needed!

Prof. Enriquez was engaging, shared jokes, & made sure we understood the material. This is a very difficult class, but he helped with explanations, redundancy, and availability to speak with us. He also allowed us to sit in another one of his classes if we needed a broader understanding. If he taught another credited class, I would sign up.

I took this class back in the fall. Chill professor. Class was okay, but lectures were mediocre and hard to understand at times. I mostly had to teach myself. HW was on MyLab, and he did show us how to do the work in class and provided slides. He also allowed some exams to be retaken. Use YouTube to help with Statcrunch; that's what saved my grade.

Highly recommend Professor Enriquez. First time taking statistics and passed as someone who struggles with math. Clear grading criteria. The homework and lessons align with the tests. He is patient and helpful. If you have any questions or need help he will take the time to explain.

You Don't Need To Do Formulas By Hand. Watch YouTube Videos To Learn How To Use Stat crunch If You're Having Trouble Understanding The Teacher. He Does Have A Strong Accent.

His class was fairly easy considering its been so many years since I've taken any math course. He provides the material needed to learn each lesson on your own, if you have questions don't hesitate to attend his office hours and ask he is always willing to teach.

He gives really clear classes and doesn't bother to answer as many questions you have. He really takes his time to explain each topic and if you're having trouble he doesn't continue until every one is on the same page, so you will understand perfectly. Very recommended!

Very easy class if you pay attention to the example problems he does in class. Good at explaining and will give help and answer questions. I have to admit, at first I didn't like his teaching style, not because he wasn't a good professor, but because I was the one who was bad at Stats. I gave it time, and now I get it. He is always available to help you after class or via email. He wants his students to succeed; you just need to pay attention to his lectures to do so. 100% recommend.
