There's no multiple choice the the quizzes and tests, but she's so good at teaching the material that you really don't need it.

Dr. Garcia is not only a physician, she is a TEACHER! she really wants everyone in her courses to learn. She is very fair and her tests are fairly easy. If you attend class and take notes, you won't even need the book.

She is a great teacher. Sometimes hard to understand because of her thick accent, but she knows her stuff and is very helpful. She has a real concern for her students to pass the class. Take lots of notes and attend class, or you'll be lost. She bases her tests on her notes and not the book. No multiple choice, so you will have to know your stuff!

She does one on one lab tests and she gives hints if you are unshure. She talks a lot but she is very nice and helpful.

She is a true teacher, her interest is in teaching the working details of the science. She does not teach useless memorization she tries to relate the course to the realworld situations you would actually apply the course to. VERY smart, direct, and fair, no BS.

I took her for BSC2086L. Shes a great teacher that really cares about her students... She doesnt teach by the book because she knows everything there possible is to know about the body...Shes a wonderful & smart woman...She just doesnt teach you the material, but also on how to be a better person/nurse. Tough, but smart and really goes out of her way to help those who show effort.If you study notes from lectures, attend class, and participate in class discussions, an A or B should be no problem. If you get an A you will have earned it and learned a lot!

She is tough, her tests aren't easy there is no multiple choice, she has her own teaching meathods loved her class over all, If you take this class for an easy grade forget it this isnt the class for you it is very challenging it requires alot of studying!!

Excellent teacher for A&P I/II.Yes, English is accented but if u pay attention and take very good notes you can undertand what she is saying. She also makes time to answer questions and she doesnt mind going over material. This prof. is very helpful and will take the time to explain outside of class time. However, she likes to pick on people and go off topic all the time. Her test are a little confusing but if you study you shouldnt have a problem. I didnt study much and i passed with a "B". I recommend her.

This professor is very nice, very knowledgeable however her tests are hard. She makes up the test on the spot and asks you the question and you have to write down the answer, there's no multiple choice. You have to study alot to pass this class, In the end I passed with a B.

Professor Luisa Garcia is by far one of the best in MDC. I love the way she lectures.. she is very smart and lectures the class from the top of her head. The textbook is very useful. To pass her class write good notes, take pictures of the models in class, and study the textbook. Shes great and very approachable.

SHE'S the sweetest! I have no idea why her rating is low. She loves all her students and she teaches with such passion. Garcia has a quiz every week based on the notes, but read the lab book too! Take good notes and you'll do great! After 2 or 3 quizzes she does an exam based on that previous material. Take her she's caring and helpful!

Professor Luisa Garcia is an extraordinary and extremely professional teacher. I took her for Anatomy 1 and 2. She is the best teacher I've ever had in Miami Dade College. I learned so much from her as a professional and as a human being. I highly encourage all students to get this amazing professor in order to really learn the material.

Most amazing professor I've ever been BLESSED with. 2 semesters passed with A. Knows what she is teaching, lectures are word for word as the quiz & tests. Organized and helps you fully understand.
