Test are straight forward, but kinda hard. All essay test. I made an A but alot of studying! She is helpful and so are the old test.

I would definitely recommend this teacher and class (BIOS 1053). The course is very easy and straightforward. If you come to class, take good notes, study, and do the worksheets you will get a very good grade. She even gives these bonus quizzes which at the end total and additional 40 points for you. Don't buy the textbook! You won't ever need it.

Amazing. Unlike most professors, Dr Williamson has a great personality. She explains the material crystal clear. After she gives a lecture, she sends you a study sheet of everything she went over in each Chapter. Therefore, you don't even need the Textbook. I didn't open the Textbook not once in her class. In a class with almost 300 students, she is able to transmit all the information for everyone. Writes every important information on the board and also talks about it on the slideshow and quizzes. I recommend!

The lectures made me understand Biology better than when I was in high school five years ago. Out of the 4 exams she gave, two of the exams were tricky. Williamson's class wasnt bad at all. She gives in-class extra credit opportunities at least 1-2 times a week. If you dont study properly for her tests, they can be difficult. This semester she began using MasteringBiology assignments for homework and it made me wanna pull my hair out. As far as lectures go, she is very nice, funny, and entertaining

Tests were more complicated than what the review was, and every time I thought I did really well on the tests I didn't. Thank god for the bonus points though. I'm not good at biology, so the bonus points is literally the only thing that got me the B! Really wanted an A though.

Dr. Williamson is a fantastic professor. She gives plenty of chances to earn bonus points for tests, which can be up to 14 points or more if you ace all her quizzes. You must pay attention in class to every word she says because she may not put it in her notes, and it will be on the exam. Also, take advantage of the SI sessions, they really help!!!

Pretty easy as long as you pay attention and take notes. Some of the chapters are harder than others, but the tests are all kinda around the same difficulty. I failed all four of the exams, BUT still came out with a B for my final grade because of the bonus quizzes (they gave me like 10 points each test) and I did the Mastering Biology. Go to class, and make sure you draw the drawings she draws on the board, because those will sometimes be on the written portion of your test. go to class and make sure you get every clicker point you can possibly get, because those points helped me go from a C to a B. Study the worksheets and study guides, and you will get an easy A.

Williamson is amazing, take immunology, don't mess around, it's only medium-hard with working towards an A. She gives old tests, pts for attendance, read her chapter notes, we skip a lot of the book, don't bother reading it. Pay attention to lectures, she's hilarious, all over the place, but HANDS DOWN one of the best professors you'll ever take.

I had Dr. WIlliamson for Immunology this semester and while the class was very hard she made lectures very interesting and easy to understand. She gave up to 15 bonus points for attendance and 5 bonus points for the end of the semester course evaluation. While attendance is not mandatory, if you skip class you will be lost when you are studying.

Absolutely hilarious and so sweet. She was always willing to stay after class to talk and answer questions, and was very charismatic. Her lectures were very interesting, and the tests were not too difficult. I would love to talk her again if I had the chance to. I took "Human Biology for Non-Science Majors."

I loved her class! Her lectures were great, but make sure you go to all of them or you'll miss out on info. You have the chance to get so many bonus points so take advantage.
