Nice teacher, but hard.

she is awsome, very smart and patient. if you try and show it to her she will work with you, is a lot of work, but we should all know is for the best. Very smart professor and very kind.

This teacher is very nice. Help students to understand and explain everything by step by step. However, she excpect from students to in the class on time and get all work done on time. So she is one of nicest teacher for english. Want to have fun...take her!!!

Very Easy teacher. Just do your work and it is an easy A. She is very nice. A little out there, but I really enjoyed her class.

I liked her class, maybe coz she liked me and gave me an A. lol... She tries hard to help her students. If you don't piss her off, she won't pick on you..Also, take adventage of her office hours. Really helpful.

Overall I enjoyed the class. She can be a little out there but that kept me interested and entertained. Never really mentioned her cat at all. Just dont procrastinate and do the journals and the class is not hard at all. VERY HELPFUL

@ 1st I started to wonder who in their right mind would give her a credential. She talks about Sampson, her cat, way too much. and for an English Prof. she has terrible spelling.(scary) but IF you do the work, she IS actually a good teacher. if you stick out the whole class she will teach you Alot.

She is a nice woman. If you're a good writer and you do your work, you will get an A. She is there to help those that need it. Stay awake and don't procrastinate in her class, and you'll be fine.

This teacher seems hard, but she's not. Just go to class, she will give you some handouts, reviewing and practicing day before for the quizes and tests, most homework are in book and some of them you have to write. everything should be fine, just do your best in the class and follow whatever the teacher tells you.

This teacher will help you with everything that you need help with. She is old lady, but she is a nice teacher. Just stick with her and don't prosticate her, so all you have to do is listen to her lecture, take good notes, and then you will be fine. I am not sure of my grade, but i think i'll pass her class with B, She'll grade you on your progress

she is a wonderful teacher and is extremely helpful in the WAC program. She helped me gain a lot of confidence in my writing ability, and receive an A on my first writing assignment.

Very good teacher. She knows her stuff and really her students to learn. Pay attention in class, interact with her, follow her instructions precisely, and you will do well. Her students EARN their grades, and that is how it should be in any college class. Do not be put off by people's comments. Ms. Case is your best bet in ENGWR 300!

ms. case is so nice. very helpful-she understands tht its hard. just write well and u will do well. everone earns his or her grade here. she is REALLY fair and ALWAYS responds to any emails sent to her.

Ms. Case is very nice, but the class is pretty hard. Make sure you keep up and you will be fine. She is very helpful and understanding. Don't be late!

Prof. Case is an excellent teacher. She wants everyone to learn, do well, and is very helpful. Communication is the key, as it is in all other aspects of life and especially in college. You have to work for your grade, so be on time, come to all classes, do all assigned work, and of course, study. Like with any other class, just do your best.

ms. case is a very sweet lady. like many serious teachers she weeds out anyone who is not serious and is only going to waste his or her time. if you are not looking for an easy A, but a teacher who will accelerate your knowledge and skills this is a wonderful choice. she will work with you

She is really nice teacher and very helpful too. She teaches grammar in extremely helpful ways. She also helps for homework assignments if you want. She is strict but for study. She is perfect teacher for wngwr51. I'm going to take Engwr102 with her.

Ms. case is pretty easy teacher and I'm going to take Engwr300 with her. She is reaaly helpful if you want to gain knowledge of english. If you really take her seriously and work hard, you can get A. she is always available to help you. while her essay stuff is really hard, you can learn everything you want from english with this teacher.

If you fail her class you aren't trying. She tells you how to do good. She encourages WAC and always tells students come see me during office hours. She wants to help and you have to work...but doesn't that mirror real life. She is one of the best professors. You will become a better writer because of her!

I really like her. Go to class, pay attention, do the assigned work, and you will be good! She clarifies assignments, and helps you if you need it. The comments she leaves on papers make me want to just do even better on my next one, she really does recognize hard work. I hope she's available for the next Eng. writing class I will take.

I liked her but I understand the complaints. SHe is indeed fast paced and demanding, assigns losts of work. If you take her, do not procrastinate and double check your papers like crazy.

She is a great professor and is always willing to help you. What she won't do is take up a bunch of class time to help 1 struggling student, she'll tell you to see her during office hour or WAC which is fair. If you don't like to put in work don't take her class because she is not easy and she is very strict, but I learned a lot in her class.

Awesome teacher and very helpful. If you put in the effort she will help you. If not then don't bother taking her class. I would take her again if I could.

Ms. Case is not as bad as everyone makes her out to be. She doesn't assign unbelievable amounts of work it will only seem like it if you procrastinate. shes really willing to help you if you go to her office hours. if you show her you care she will be extra helpful. Just try hard don't procrastinate and you will be fine.

Professor Case has a heart of gold! She is very strick & doesn't put up with textin, or sleepin in class. She is a tuff teacher so if you are not a strong writer, don't take her! If you take her & you start struggling don't wait until it is too late. Don't ask for help During class time. Go to her office, show you want to be good. She will help.

I Like Ms Case,she means buissness.Very willing to help and always joking... She just wants the best for her students. She is always willing to help, all you half to do is ask. I wasn't sure if I was going to pass her class because, of all the missing days, but I pulled through.I will take her for 300, I know she cares genuinely.

She is the best teacher I have ever had! If you are lazy, then don't bother taking her class. She makes you work hard, but after you are done, you know you can write anything!She is VERY helpful and kind. You just have to show up, do the work, and ask for help if you need it. Slackers need not apply!!!

This teacher was so easy! After you do reading responses and essays, she tells you EXACTLY what she wants to see on the next one. Write to her opinion, not yours though. I did all my homework the night before or the morning of and still got an A. She talks a lot about politics and the essays are usually on country/state issues.

If you take her class seriously you should be fine. I had two of her classes years ago and she was one of the best teachers I ever had. Do the work, make the effort, and ask for help if you need it and you'll excel. I became a published writer thanks in part to her so anyone can do well in this class if you apply yourself. She does not have tolerance for BS. If you are late, she docks off points. If you miss 2 days, she drops you. However, she is a passionate teacher and I found her extremely helpful. If English is your second language, I wouldn't recommend her. You have to work HARD for an A. She assigns a fair amount of essays.

Ms. Case was great! Don't get me wrong, after reading the reviews on this professor, I was scared thinking what did I sign myself up for? Don't worry though! She really cares about her students and is very clear about what she wants from you. She is old school and by the book. As long as you are a good listener, you will get an A in her class! <3

Professor Case is a gem. If you are scared because of other comments, don't be. She is hard, but she is fair. If you are a goof off, you won't pass her class. It is a college level class and she expects you to act like an adult and write about adult issues, ie...current events. She wants you to think and be able to express those thoughts!

She is a hard professor, but means well. At first i thought i wouldn't care for her, then i learned to love her ways. She means well and expects all students to act as adults. we are in college and there is no need to have our asses wiped anymore. All who give her a bad rating is not a serious student and, or expect their hands held and ass wiped.

Lynda runs her class like a upper division college course; there is no gliding by, you have to do the work. She is the most open and helpful prof I have had; she really wants you to succeed. I am so glad I had her for 300! I easily aced future classes that called for critical and analytical because of her class. Lynda is an EXECLLENT Prof.!!!

Prof. Case is not as bad as some people say. It does take a few weeks to get used to the way she runs her class but overall I enjoyed it. She can be a bit of a hard-grader but will always go over on what you can improve. As long as you're serious about putting in the effort; you'll enjoy her class. Learned more in her class than any other so far.

I absolutely loved Case and still do. She is a very tough professor, but she cares about her students future. She grades at a college level and nothing less. If you want to succeed take her, if you don't, run away.

She is very intelligent. You cannot pass her class if you skip a paper. Take full advantage of the resources on campus to help polish your papers. She is by the book so watch for plagiarism. Very sweet, but don't cross her.

Lynda's classes are not for those who just want to be given a grade. I had her for ENGWR 300, and she does expect a lot of work, but she has office hours for help. Prof. Case expects students to address her prompts in the assignments, and she expects well organized essays that offer clear analysis and explanation. She is a bit liberal but fair.

If you want a teacher to slap a grade on your paper without helping you, don't take this class, but if you want to learn something I recomend Prof Case. She starts out tough but once she gets to know your class she's awesome. I enjoy her classes and she's helpful, you just have to put forth the effort.
