This professor is fairly new, and for a newcomer she really shows that she loves her job and loves to teach. Teaching methods are all on Power Point presentations, but not the boring kind. She has it so the entire class interacts with her and it comes with very interesting stories that relate to the class. I would highly recommend her.

She is awesome! She uses personal stories from her/students to relate to material. EVERYTHING is on PPT. Cheat sheet on the final & can drop 1 low test grade. You'll want to take her for every class. Do not buy the book all the material is online. The class is part lecture and part discussion. She creates an environment where student can voice their opinions without judgement. She is very friendly and helpful! Study guides can be used on exams, but I never found myself needing them. We had two projects that were not that difficult at all.

Mrs. Karlis is one of the nicest teachers I've met but she rambles on with the discussions about topics so you might get through 3 topics in one class period. Never used the book. 99% of test questions were on power point. And allows you to use a cheat sheet. Easy A class.

Online class. One of the nicest and most caring professors I have ever had. Its an easy A if you put in some effort and do the work. Each week you have a discussion question and 1-3 fairly easy assignments. Every other week there is a test. She's a pretty fast grader. I'd take her again in a heartbeat.

I have no intention of going into Psychology or anything related but her class was very interesting and I am glad I took it. Lectures are more of a discussion and interesting and relevant. I actually enjoyed going to her classes.

One of the best teachers I have ever had. She is understanding and helpful. Her assignments are not busy work but help you understand the material. She gives you more then enough time to take tests. The homework is not overwhelming especially for an online class. You will not regret taking her.

Ms. Karlis is amazing!! I took her online class and I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. We used the textbook quite a bit so make sure your purchase it! Super nice and caring. Easy assignments and tests if you are on top of everything. Passed the class with a 98%. I would take her again in a heartbeat if I had to take another class with her!

Took the online course. It was very manageable but there was a lot of reading. Weekly work is 2 chapters of reading, DQ, and weekly assignment. Quizzes are bi-weekly and the final is cumulative. You will get an A as long as you read the material.

For each test you get a memory sheet, one test is a take home test, and she drops the lowest scoring test! She's just a great person and professor in general!

I took it online (8 weeks), and it was really easy. Every week: 2 chapters, 1 discussion/replies, and 1 assignment. There is 1 quiz, 2 exams, and a final. As long as you put in some effort, you'll get full points. Professor is very nice and caring. Exams are easy and from past quizlets. Overall, 10/10 recommend

Professor Karlis had the easiest psychology class. Psychology hasnt been easy for me in the past but I am doing great with her. each week you have a discussion board post and 2 replies and an assignment and/or test. I highly suggest purchasing or renting the book because youll need it for the discussion board posts which are 55 points each!

One of the best online classes I have taken. Not a ton of work, and the work in the class is very helpful in real life. Prof Karlis provides a safe, non judgmental space to explore different topics while also learning about yourself. She also gives great feedback on everything you do.

She made the three hour lectures interesting and fun. She gave four tests overall, and drops your lowest test grade. the final project is either writing a letter to someone or volunteer work and she gives a lot of opportunity for extra credit. If you can't afford the book, she gives you copies. She is very knowledgeable and understanding of issues.

Karlis is absolutely amazing. She does wonderful job explaining difficult topics and she has a calm tone voice you could listen to her for hours. Exams are nothing to stress about and there are very few homework assignments. Do not hesitate to take any class she lectures. Ended the class with over a hundred percent.

Prof Karlis is sweet & caring. She uses PowerPoint for her lectures & explains everything thatll be on the test. You have 4 tests, 5 in class assignments (10 pts each), & 1 easy project. The take-home tests are harder than the in class tests. Her examples arent as robust as Prof Mikitch, but shes a great professor & loves class discussion!

I can honestly just sit in her lectures all day. Such a caring and happy person, I've never met anyone like Professor Karlis. She shared so many stories from college memories to road rage episodes to worst fears. (so much extra credit too) One of the few educators that you will remember.

I was actually interested in the course work and she doesn't make you do ridiculous assignments that don't matter in the class. All of her assignments I was able to do and ace easily. Ms. Karlis is amazing. I took her online psychology 1010 class . As long as you do the work, you will get the grade! Easy A if you just do the assignments and quizzes. The weekly plate of work isn't bad at all. Maybe a total of 1-2 hours a week, if that. I highly recommend her. She is just awesome.

This proffessor is the sweetest human on earth. TAKE HER CLASS! She is so caring. Only 3-4 EASY assignments a week and it's all on this little online program. Each week you get two quizzes and then usually one discussion posts and one easy assignment you answer questions. All quizzes on quizlet. She is too sweet tho! Definitely take her for easy A

If you do all the discussion posts and read you can even do a google search of the topics she is requiring to give a brief idea if you don't want to read the chapter. You get 2 attempts on every quiz, she gives extensions if needed, and extra credits for watching a video and answering 3 questions. TAKE HER. EASY A

Karlis is AMAZING. This was my 2nd class with her and if I were staying at Macomb longer, I would take more PSYC classes just to have her. I had a death in the family and I emailed her to let her know and not only did she give me extra time, she checked on me a few times. She really cares about her topic and her students. Easy class. learned a ton.

TRULY THE BESTTTT. Easiest class I have taken and I truly mean it. Took the 8 week course and I don't regret it one bit. She gives you a week to to finish her assignments. you have a quiz every week that is timed 30 min but every answer is in the book and is soo easy.

Professor Lynda is hands down one of the kindest and best Professors I ever encountered in Macomb, which is saying a lot when Macomb has a lot of great ones. I loved her class so much, that I decided to take her twice.
