Lynda is by far one of the best teachers in the psych. department. If you work hard you will get the grade you deserve. Her class is interesting and she makes the terminology easy for you to understand. I would take another class from Lynda any day. I urge everyone to take a class from Lynda!

just thinking of taking a psyc class gave me a headache, that was until i got in to Mrs. "V" class, i enjoyed her class i actually learned something, and her exams r as easy as u want them to be. I enjoyed her so much that im taking another class with her. Good Job Mrs. "V"!!!!

best psych class ive ever had, one of the best profs in the psych dept (with bott being the best in science dept =P), her class is interesting even though the subject isn't. If you have a stressful semester this class will help you relieve it, plus shes a HOTTIE.

Mrs. V is the best damn professor ever. Take her for intro to psych...all psych classes if u can. She is nice and will give u good grades if u try.

Great teacher. 3 tests m.c. (lowest dropped) and 2 papers (4-5 pages and 5-7 pages). Counts as intensive writing course. She is amusing and fun. Often let us out early. She brings her dogs to class. She's currently a graduate student herself. You get to watch "Office Space" in class. Take her!

she's a great prof. cept she picks favorites in class, and than she brings em up on tests and talks bout em all the time (we dont really wanna hear bout some random person), otherwise shes too awesome.

I love Mrs.V ! Her class is very fun. We talk about interesting things and she usually lets the class out 30 mins before class ends. Anyone can get a A in her class. Her grading is very leniant. There is no final exam. Take her for as much classes as you can!!!

Hands down awesome teacher. Tests are usually from lecture so take good notes. Book isnt necessary (received an A in IO and Cult) Go to class and do extra credit and get decent grades and you will be happy with the result. She makes the class interesting.

it was her first time teaching methods for fall 07. had her on saturdays for three hours. she's hilarious. class was somewhat challenging but she puts herself out there to help as much as she can.she doesn't use the plus/minus system so an A is 4.0.

its a hard class overall, but shes the only easy teacher. she has take home exams that are straight from her powerpoint notes. its a lot of writing, but its just required in any psych 2301, shes prob. the only best teacher to choose from. Take her. she even has youtube examples, and shes funny. she takes her chihuahua to the classroom.

Took her for I/O on saturdays for 3 hrs weekly! She was awesome, very interactive, great tools to teach such as allowing us to take part in some of the studies done in the workplace for hiring. Also, her tests are take home and from her powerpoint slides that she mails to you through email. Only downfall is she curses alot.

I just took her for methods and she was the best teacher that i have ever had. she is an easy teacher that makes methods actually very interesting. if you, ever need to take methods, definetly take it with her. the test are take home and the articles are easy because she really helps , if one has a problem with it. SHE IS THE GREATEST!!!

Dr. V is an AMAZING proff! If you do all of the work then you are pretty much guaranteed an A or B in the class. Even if you do poorly on the exams, she offers plenty of extra credit to make it up. She has take home exams and her lectures are posted online. She is real helpful if you need help understanding anything. I highly recommend taking her!!

From my experience, all the good things that are said about her are true. I took this class in the Spring of 08, and I recommend her to anyone.

The last person who rated Dr. Villanueva is crazy. Dr. Villanueva is the BEST professor at UH. She works with students and really cares about them. Moreover, her chihuahua, Ms. Dottie-Lou, is the prettiest chihuahua in the history of the world. If you are looking for a world class and world class professor take Dr. Villanueva!!!!!!!!!! She rocks!

All you need is a book and attend her lectures to get straight A.8 discussions and 3 exams+5% xtra crdt.You will have a week to complete Exams online and you may use book and notes.BOOK IS VERY IMPORTANT TO WORK ON EXAMS & DISCUSSIONS.

Easy A. Took Saturday class. Only went to 2 class meetings. Read notes, skim chapters, and do the work. Very easy work. Offers plenty of help & extra credit.

DR. V is so cool. I got a B+ in the class. The TA who grades the work will make you mad sometimes. There are 3 exams all done on WebCT you have 5 or 6 days to complete them there is a paired assignment and 1 group project (choose your group members wisely)

i/0 psyc online was great. You answer discussion topics and replies every week. Short and interesting Lectures on Youtube. Enthusiastic professor.Extra credit offered. 3 exams online so you can use ur book/notes/lecture vids. 1 group project...usually a paper...submit it early so they can give feedback. Got an A!

Great teacher. Explains everything very clearly and is very fair.

3 exams. You'll have days to do them but they are not intuitive. You have to study. Plenty of extra credit. 3 papers that you will learn a lot from. You can work with other people for your paper. I didn't but did well on them. She cares for her students and wants them to succeed. Her great teaching style is evident from my 103% for the class.

Took her for 3310 & 2301. Got A?s in both courses. Lectures are heavy in information, but she provides helpful power points, loves her field & teaches it damn well. Test answers are right out of the books. She?s hilarious, so class is never a bore, always replies to emails, NICE curves tests.

Great class! I took her online and it is probably my best grade this semester. Three tests and one paper. Test questions are literally out of the lectures so you must watch them. You also have to make sure you post discussion questions and responses every week.Don't wait until the last minute to do the paper either. Trust me! Easy upper-level class

Awesome online class. Workload is really light: online discussions weekly based off youtube lectures. 3 open book/note tests based directly off the book & lecture, and 1 straightforward paper. She can ignore discussion board questions, but is good w/ emails. Interesting material, and a very easy A. Definitely take as a psych elective & GPA booster.

Took this class online, great "A" elective for ALL majors. Watched youtube lectures, didn't read the book, test from power points and definitions from book. She makes the lectures interesting. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I took I/O Psyc online during the summer. Dr. V puts up nice lecure videos and powerpoint slides on the site, so you pretty much do not need to read the book. The exams were straight forward and you have plenty of time to flip through the book if you're stuck on something. Dr. V cares about her students and it shows. She also is passionate about IO

Prides herself on being an easy A, which is kind of insulting to her students, if you ask me. Lots of days off ("virtual days") and lectures usually let out way early. This is a self-study class. If that works for you, great. I prefer a regular, thorough lecture, not so much dependence on the internet. I would have taken someone else if I had known

I loved this class! It was an easy a! There's online lecture powerpoints, 3 exams and one project. Very easy! We get 3 hours to take the exam so it's not bad! I seriously had my baby girl on Friday, took the exam Saturday at the hospital and got a 96! I would take this class again!

This class is definitely an easy A. The professor is very nice and has a great personality. If you are interested in a professor that's hands on and gives alot of feedback, take another course. If you work will on your own, she is the best to take this courcse with.

She's extremely helpful, got an A in her class and 100 on my paper, the papers only like 6 pages I think and I took the 4 week online summer class. Just watch the videos and keep the book next to you during the 3 hour online tests and you have no excuse to not pass. She seems very helpful and understanding as well but never saw her in person

Super easy. Take online. # hrs to take 60 MC test. A paper on a movie analyzing topics from class. Discussion posts are the most work every week. Easy but make sure to write well to get full credit. Videos are on Youtube and good quality. Straightforward and easy A. Use poweerpoint on test and write page numbers to help out.

Took her for methods and she is the best. I was apprehensive at first because it was a Saturday class, and who wants to be on campus on a Saturday. But she made class easy and enjoyable. Cancelled a lot of classes so we could enjoy our weekends.Take her absolute must. Grades pretty easy and you can use your notes on tests.

Dr. V is the best professor ever! Although it was supposed to be a face to face class, she turned it into a hybrid since she knows no one wants to be at school on a Saturday morning! She is extremely helpful and you can even text her if you have any questions! Tests are online and you have 3 hours to do 50 questions. 2 papers...easy A, TAKE HER!!!

She prides herself in being "the easiest methods professor at UH". Her Sat. class is like a hybrid one, only came to campus 6 times & got attendance pts. There are 3 online exams that are tricky, but you get to use your notes & book. The other grades are 2 assignments & a final research proposal where you can work on in a group. Max 30 pts SONA!!!

Saturday hybrid class. super laid back teacher. easy grader and more than fair. lets the class decide when assignments were due or if more time was needed. Highly recommend. Fun class activities. actually enjoyed coming to class. Easy A.

I took Dr. V's Industrial-Organizational Psychology as an online class. It was fairly easy, and her online lectures are excellent. Just be sure to stay on top of your work, and don't BS the weekly postings and responses, she grades somewhat tough on those. I had never contacted her about my grade, and somehow came out with an A. Great teacher.

Took class online. Prof keeps online lectures short and to the point. 3 exams and 3 assign. weighted equally. Written papers are harder, but if you follow the format of previous papers, lots of ex. provides, you will have no problem. The first assignment is due 6 or 7 weeks into the course, and each assign. thereafter is every 3 weeks. Weird.

Every student wants to learn, but sometimes you want an easy class that counts towards your degree and boosts your gpa...... THIS IS IT! Super easy class! Easy assignments! Easy tests! I actually learn the material better when I'm not stressed by the work load. This professor needs to be cloned and teach all the psych classes! I LOVE DR V!

Take Dr. Villanueva for Industrial-Organizational Psychology! Her hybrid I-O class meets every other Saturday for activities. There are three online exams and one essay about a movie. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! :)

TAKE THIS CLASS.

This is possibly the easiest writing in the disciplines class you can take. The videos are clear and concise, the tests are almost word for word from the notes and power points. Read them over before you begin the exams and you're golden! Fun movie project to conclude the semester :)

There were 3 real assignments during the semester and I got A's on all of them. Easy grader and the tests weren't too bad. The best part is she provides random extra credit! For showing up, for doing what you're supposed to do anyway, just because she is in a great mood, all kinds of extra credit! I would definitely recommend.

I have taken her for Into to Methods. I had to take her again for I/O Psychology. I LOVE HER! Since the class is hybrid, we don't have to go class every Saturday but you need to read the assigned reading & look at PP. 3 tests-ONLINE OPEN BOOK/NOTES. A movie review needs to be done (min. 5 pages) & extra credit is available. TAKE her! Easy A!

This professor is great! I took this course online and it is very manageable, not a lot of work involved. There are 3 essays (can work in groups) for the lab portion of the course and 3 or 4 exams for the actual course. She uploads the lecture videos and powerpoints and the exams are directly reflective. She is awesome!

You have to show up to class for attendance, but she lets you out after the first hour. Her tests are pretty easy. The only downside is we have to write a 5 page paper, but it really wasn't that bad! She also would randomly give us extra points on our exams. If you want an easy A, take her!

Methods w Prof Villanueva was an easy online summer class (made an A)! 3 exams and 3 papers. Exams are very easy and papers could be written w/ a group and consisted of an article review, Literature review and a Final Proposal. One thing is theres no way to receive a lot of extra credit during summer as it is all SONA and there aren't many studies.

She is a gem. Absolutely adore this professor, after taking her industrial organizational psychology class i wanted to be an IO psychologist! she is very interesting to listen to, do the work and you will make an A.

We had 1 APA quiz, 1 article review which is 3 pages, 1 lit review which is 4 pages and final research proposal which is 5-7 pages. Attendance isn't mandatory, she's hilarious.

Easy class and SONA credit up to 30 points! There are three EASY exams and three papers. You can do the papers as a group project or as an individual. TA grades easy. Super interesting and informational class, a must take. Lovely prof who cares about you and your grade.

Literally the best class ever. She gives extra credit just for people showing up to class. I think I got 30 points extra credit for going to all 6 sessions. She is a very funny, nice, and a really easy teacher. Everybody should take her! Especially if you have the saturday classes with her, you're not required to go every week. You only go 6 times and she gives you extra credit sometimes. I finished the semester with an excellent grade. It is an easy A!!

Easy A as long as you do your work and stay on top of your readings. She allows you to work in groups for essays, and exams are open note. She also makes sure that we understand the material and checks up on us. Also offers SONA extra credit.

I took the hybrid Saturday class. Loved her teaching style! Tests are open note/ open book - online at home which is a privilege I am very thankful for! She has lecture videos, we only do activities in class. She allows 30pts extra credit if you need it. There are 3 tests and 1 project. No final, just chapter exam. I highly recommend this course!

Very Easy. 8 Discussions (300 words) that are pre-posted at the beginning of the semester. 3 Tests whole semester, no LockD (;. 1 Movie Project at the end. Book can be found online, but you dont really need it.

Very easy class and an amazing professor. She is very kind and caring. The workload for this class is also very light. You will have to post in the discussion board every week and also submit a few essays. You have the option to pair up with a few people to work on the essays. The tests in this class are also extremely easy.

Dr. V is a great Professor! if you take a Saturday class, you must show up for credits(much needed). 4 exams, you will need to study not all exams are easy. 2 papers start as soon as you can, they are time consuming, you can work alone or in a group of 3.

Hands down the best professor i have EVER had. I took her for Research Methods which is supposed to be an extremely touch class and i got an A. She allows group work, all exams are open book/note/etc. Just not open person and she has such a great personality. Took her for Saturday's and she only asked us to come to class 4x. TAKE HER!!!!

Hands down the BEST professor I have EVER had. She is extremely realistic about the material she is teaching and decides to NOT make the hardest Psychology classes all that hard at all. Only asks you to show up on Saturday's 4-5x for the semester to get points. Tells you tests are open everything but open person. YOU WILL REGRET NOT TAKING HER!

She's a great and caring professor. Took her Saturday class; only met 3 times this semester. Class consist of 3 exams, 3 assignment, and 1 very easy quiz. She gave us so many extra credit points for attendance. Her class is very easy if you do your work. You may also work in groups for the 3 assignments.
