Amazing class. The powerpoint presentation reviews she gave every week helped us understand what we didn't quite get and was a great review for the test. HOWEVER, IF YOU DON'T STUDY A CHAPTER AT ALL, DON'T EXPECT THE PPT REVIEW TO HELP YOU RIGHT BEFORE THE TEST! She's friendly, but don't joke around much, forget to study, and forget your materials.

Professor Lynda is amazing. quiz every week, but she does an hour long review before the quiz on basically every question that will show up on the quiz. 1 medical history assignment. A midterm and a final that will be out of the review paper she hands out. Just read what she tells you to read and you'll get an A. TAKE HER! also, she loves theories!

She is an EXTREMELY good professor and wants you to understand the material to where you can tell what it is by pictures. There are a lot of tests but don't be scared just memorize what she tells you and on test day she does a review for the first half of the class.

Honestly, Professor Wilson is by far the best teacher I've had at Valencia. She really cares about you and your grade the test can seem quite hard but she reviews before the test TWO TIMES and no teacher does that. No homework just tests every week but they're quite easy if you enjoy the medical field.

After 2nd class, you can expect: review/ ppt. lecture of chapter, test for that chapter, graded test day of class, then overview for next chapter/next class. The same routine every class makes it helpful to know what to expect. Do worksheet hw & listen to ppt lecture when she reviews & you can do well on tests. Be on time or she will call you out.

She reviews with visual and hands-on aids to make the human body and procedures understandable. Good grades are accessible if students review with textbook and ppt online. Most importantly, Professor Wilson is passionate about medicines and student well beings.

This class rules. Wilson is lecture and test heavy (one per week) but she reviews before each test. Her tests are pretty easy if you study, some of the answers are funny. Professor Wilson is a very good professor and takes the time to make sure you learn the material. She brings in service dogs that you can pet while she teaches and wears a funny outfit associated with each topic. She's very understanding and is willing to work with you. The class has weekly quizzes, but if you study the material beforehand you will pass. She will review before the quiz as well. I enjoyed the class, and I have never been so interested now in the healthcare. I passed the class with an 100%. All you have to do is put time to study and you will pass. She cares about your success & loves it when you participate! I could listen to her lectures all day everyday! Make sure you study for the test every week and read the chapters & youll pass!

She is hands down the best teacher I have taken at Valencia, and she is a true gem for anyone looking to enter the medical field. Medical terminology is difficult because its a lot to learn and memorize, but she makes it very, very doable and she truly wants all of her students to do well. I took her class online during COVID and ended with a 98%.

she was amazing and all of her videos were very detailed with information getting you ready for all chapter quizzes i loved the fact she would wear a shirt representing the chapter we were learning about take her you will learn alot and gets you ready for being in the medical field.

Shes a very sweet teacher who cares about her students. Her lectures are interesting and work in that class is very easy when you use the resources given. I found this to be one of the most enjoyable classes Ive taken in college so far.

Professor Wilson was hands down the BEST professor I have ever had. She is always available outside of class and will help you with anything. Her lectures are everything you need to know to pass the course. She highlights things in red on the power points that will be test material. Just overall a great professor that really cares.

She has some wacky theories, so you should take some things she says with a grain of salt (I don't really think microwaves in cell phones cause cancer), but she really teaches in a way that makes things stick. The class was super easy, even though learning vocabulary is usually something extremely difficult for me. I find myself missing her class.

Very enjoyable teacher and you can clearly tell she cares for her students and what she teaches. I took the A&P class with her and for someone who had just learned the bare minimum of A&P she's made the class very easy to understand! Would definitely recommend no hesitation.

I took the 1 day/week 3-hour class. Easy A, if you study and are passionate. Exam every week (excluding the first week) about 50 questions, and she reviews for the first 2 hours of class. You can honestly pass the class without studying thanks to her in-depth reviews right before the exams. Mid-Term and Final are 100 questions. Nurse grading scale.

You don't have to read the textbook or study to get an A for the test, just listen to the videos. She is good at responding the same day and giving you advise if you email the assignment before turning it in to get an A. Extra Credit is given if you put in extra work in assignments. She can go off topic with her theories but overall good experience

Professor Wilson sets you up to succeed in the class. She responds to emails very quickly, even on the weekends! She is very thorough in her lectures and does flashcards before each exam which helps you to do well in them. If you have any more questions you'd like to ask her, you can attend her zoom meetings but they are not mandatory, take her!

You can really tell she cares about her students understanding everything. She recorded her lectures even though the class was online which was really helpful. There's a quiz every week but she goes over EVERYTHING and gives study guides of what's exactly on the quiz. As long as you pay attention you should be good.

Lectures are wonderful and helpful. She gives great study material. Her humor is refreshing. She makes taking an online course a walk in the park!

If I could give professor Wilson over 5 out of 5, I would. Very understanding with clear instructions. Take her and don't think twice, you won't regret it :) !

Her lectures are wonderful and it's super difficult to not pass the test, you just need to study a little bit beforehand but her reviews before the test are great. Sometimes she also does kahoots where you can get extra credit (in class). I recommend her!! She's 10/10!!!

She makes learning Medical Terminology A LOT of fun!!!!! I would describe her as funny! I love when she does this little snapping the finger song to learn this really long Medical Terminology word. I give her a 5/5!!!!

Lectures are very easy to follow and the classwork assigned will help you greatly on quizzes/tests. Everything is due on Sundays (which worked out great for me). She's very helpful and creates concepts that are easy to grasp. Highly recommend her to anyone freshly learning medical terms. Quizzes and tests are not proctored.

Professor Wilson is very knowledgeable, caring and clear on her assignment instructions. She makes it easy to learn and retain information by breaking down medical terms and lectures. She makes sure to provide some form of a study guide to prep for tests. If you take the time to study you will have no trouble passing the class.

There was a comprehensive review and a quiz every week. She usually gave extra credit too. She's very caring and is hard on students to get them to succeed. The material in this class was super helpful in other classes. Although this is coming from a student who took Medical Terminology mostly for fun sooo. (Yes i am insane thank you for asking)

I really loved the funny answer options that she would put in on the tests. She's really nice and the class is interesting and easy. Also, do not start the final project last second because I did that and it wasn't a good idea.

The best professor ive had in my 5 years attending valencia. She explains everything so clearly & has her lectures posted online so that of you dont understand in class you can always go back & rewatch them. Shes extremely smart and you can tell her knowledge in the medical field is substantial.I wish she taught regular AP2 not just for EMT. 10/10!

This was a super easy class and I still managed to learn things along the way. She includes funny multiple choice options on her tests that lighten the vibe. Online lectures are short and clear. I took online, and it's great if you're looking for an easy credit, but she wasn't as detail oriented for those who want to learn a lot from the class.

Relatively easy. Weekly test (~45 questions) with a little other assignment (matching, diagram, etc). Two big projects, a Medical History Report (long and detailed and Pronunciation test. LOTS of resources though. no honorlock or anything. good class if you can put in the effort. ~2-4 hours per week if you wanna actually learn

She is the best! Please take her class! She posts online lectures as she goes over the ppts she made. She provides a lot of examples. No surprises on her quizzes. She's also funny. Hands down, easiest class I've ever taken. How I wish she taught all the other classes I need to take.

Professor Wilson is one of the best teachers I have had. She posts a lot of resources that help you understand the material (textbook, optional worksheets, videos etc) The videos of her explaining make learning the information fun and entertaining. I did not struggle in this course at all. I enjoyed it.

Professor Lynda Wilson was absolutely AWESOME! Her lectures were humorous and interesting. Although it was an online class, she made sure to always get back to me in a timely manner. She is super clear when it comes to the grading but also graceful. She gives you the opportunity to make up the work. I really enjoyed taking her class.

Never got below 95 on her tests! Made flashcards for each chapter with the study guide that she puts exactly what will be on the tests.

Professor Wilson made medical terminology, painless and smooth. Her course is organized and her lectures are easy to understand and did not feel overwhelming at all. For my summer sem, there was an average of one assignment and one quiz/test weekly. I enjoyed taking this class, very useful if interested in continuing into anything health sciences

Mrs. WIlson is extremely friendly and accommodating. Her lectures are pristine and well-practiced. She understands the material well and breaks it down clearly. Exams are medium difficulty. Study 30 minutes beforehand and you'll be fine.

took online. a chapter exam every week and a small activity paired with it. there is a medical report due towards the end, but even if you mess up, she gives you a week to redo it without penalty. very nice as well!

I loved taking Medical Terminology with Professor Wilson! She has incredible lectures, awesome resources, and is an overall amazing person. She is extremely understanding and caring -- for example, I had an emergency come up, causing me to miss a deadline. I emailed her about it, asking for a one-day extension. Instead, she gave me an entire week!
