Explains content very well. Makes class a breeze. He does talk about the history of math, but only for about 5 min. Makes class more interesting.

This teacher is really good with the students in the class, he explains the math problems to help me understand them a lot better. Plus he tells amazing history about where the math concepts come from and it makes math seem a bit more interesting.

He is really helpful. For teaching a college course that is a 9th grade math he is really good at dumbing it down. The homework is a bit much but you can tell he is really passionate about math which is weird but cool. Seems like a nice you. If you attend pretty much every class I don't see why you wouldn't at least pass with a C.

I hate math, my worst subject, but Mr. Lamborn has taught me a lot. He is clear and easy to understand. Perfect attendance allows you to drop your lowest test score. For a couple of minutes each class, he has an interesting math history story. If you struggle with math, take his class.

Love how he incorporates a history lesson into each class. It gives a break from doing math problems and he is extremely good at storytelling and making history interesting. He is very helpful if you get stuck on something and doesn't mind if you ask him to go over a math problem again so that you "get it"...includes a few laughs each class too!

i hate Math!!! until i took this course that is. he explains the material and makes it super easy to understand. now if i can only have this guy teach all the rest of my math courses.

Mr. Lamborn class is informational, he gives you the history of math which keeps you interested. Also, he gives the help needed to understand what steps you miss, i was terrible with math but now i have a greater understanding of solving the problem.

Great professor,very smart, highly intelligent, laid back.gave a few extra credit opportunities. OVERALL im glad i had him as my professor. it was hard to follow at times.but once i read the text/went to tutoring it became clear.He is very helpful when you need it. Mr. Lamborn is an awesome teacher. I really like how he doesn't rush the class when a test is being taken and that he gives us extra time if we need it. If he taught the math class that is above math 150 I would definitely want him as my teacher. Some parts of each chapter are difficult to understand but he does his best to describe what to do.

Mr lamborn is the most gangster math teacher ever (in a nerdy way). He knows what he is talking about In and out and is willing to do anything to help his students to become the same way.He properly prepares his classes days before the tests, and will move test dates if students are not comfortable with the material.I highly recommend him for math!

Will go out of his way to help students and is very quick to respond to questions asked outside of class via email. A lot of good opportunities to succeed with Ex credit. Professor Lamborn was a great instructor! I like how he went over the homework questions as our notes. As well as collecting all the homework till the end of each chapter. Mr. Lamborn has got to be one of the best teachers at MCC. Classes include working out problems straight from the assigned homework. Mr. Lamborn assures that everyone is on the same page and that "A's" are extrememly attainable for all! Gives chances for extra credit. Love this man!

Great teacher who always manages to up-beat and happy even at 7am! He also focuses on how processes in math work, and this helps some people like me understand it. His homework assignments are very reasonable in length, his notes are clear, and there are no surprises on his tests. (which usually aren't that challenging) Great teacher!

This is a difficult class but the professor tried to make things easy to understand. He also rewards you for things like attendance and listening skills.

I'm glad I took him. He made this class easier for me & this was my 2nd time taking this class. Winner winner chicken dinner as he says! Do the work and you can get a good grade. He always does reviews before the tests and they are close to his tests! I am actually looking forward to the final :)

Great teacher, good sense of humor, nice guy. Don't be late to class, he starts on time or early. And pay attention. He makes a tough subject a lot easier to understand, but he's not going to do it for you.

Also he has a personality, he not like some professors that just ramble on and expect you to know what there talking about at all times. Pay attention in class you won't learn anything from the book

I loved this class! He was a huge help and made math So easy to understand. His work is very organized and is patient with us students who are slow learned. I honestly was scared to take math again but Mr. Lamborn made it enjoyable. I highly recommend taking his class!

Class can be somewhat difficult if you miss any lectures. Being only a two day-a-week math class, attendance is essential. Professor know the information thoroughly and will tutor and help if needed. Good class.

Good educator. Knows math. Doesn't give classic lesson during class. Reviews homework, demonstrating how to solve equations. Ask questions, do the homework, show up for the exams. Be engaged and committed to learning

Make sure you attend class even though its not required. Pace is quick and everything in the book will be covered. He's very helpful and if you do the work its hard not to succeed. Bedtime stories about historical mathematicians are great. I would certainly take another class from Lyndon, he's highly versed in Math and wants everyone to do well.
