This teacher is so funny with jokes and everything. He always gives sample tests so you know how to study. He is very laid back and easy going. A good teacher in my opinion.
Great guy...very laid back and likes to see his students do well. He'll do whatever it takes to help you if you're behind.
Mr. Cade is very laid back, and his class (Statistics, at least) is very easy. He makes it where you can understand everything and have fun with it. He likes to laugh and joke around, I suggest him.
the best stats teacher at pjc. if you want to do well in stats, take his class. he gives practice tests and lots of extra credit opportunities.
I've had him for College Algebra and Statistics. He has got to be the most unpunctual teacher on campus, but also the very best. He makes the material a walk in the park, makes sure you understand, and jokes to relax you. Highly Recommend.
Had him for both MAC1105 and STA2023. Was a painful experience both times. I made a B+ and A in his classes, but he is not a good teacher at all! He rambles for most of your class time and you wonder why he is wasting your time!
Good teacher. Gives pre-test that are very similar to tests. Tests DO NOT consist of material that he did not go over in class.If you do well on pre-test you will make a very high A for the class. I recommend him to anyone.
12+ minutes late every day. Derogatory comments to students in front of the class. Stating assignments are one thing and then changing them at turn in date. Rambling off the class's topic contantly. Undisputedly the WORST instructor I've ever had.
Always late, rambles about anything but math. Tests are exactly like the practice tests. You can make an A if you have a friend to tutor you the night before the test
Horrible. ALWAYS late. Unorganized. His 2nd test didn't relect any of the material he covered in class, hw, or practice test. EVERYONE in the class failed the test. Incoherent diatribe about absurd subjects in the middle of class. 3.5+ GPA -- I pulled the lowest test score in my life on his 2nd test
Mr. Cade does a very poor job of explaining test material. He's never on time for class. The entire class would be clueless and he'd just keep jogging right on into the next chapter. His tests are either really easy or impossibly hard. Avoid him at all costs unless you feel aggravation is fun.

He is never punctual; but he is a good teacher. He will not move on to the next subject until everyone in the class is on the same level that is why he's always asking, "do anyone have any questions before I go on." I totally recommend anyone to take him for any MATH class. :)
Mr. Cade is the worst professor at PJC. I assume the positive comments about him are coming from his night class, cause the entire day class hated him. Um; does a poor job explaining the math; rants instead of teaching; always late; tests don't match the hw/practice tests.
DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Summer class, always late, if student is lost, does not bother to help, he simply moves on to harder stuff. Falzone is alot more better
Mr.Cade is an excellant teacher. I had him for Stats and Bussiness Cal.I am horrible at math but he made everything so easy to understand. He always explained the subject matter in great detail and if a student did not understand he would always find time to help. The only bad thing about Mr. Cade is that he is ALWAYS late.
I don't know what those other ratings are about. I failed Calc.w/Bus Applic. before I took Cade and ended up with a B in his class.He may be late from time to time,but he explains the material in a way that you can understand it.I didn't have a tutor or any other help, and I did fine in his class.Our HW assign. were very helpful in the tests.
Although he is never on time to class, he is helpful in and out of the classroom. He review the test and he is always willing to help students by telling us his office hours. I am taking him for stats and I recommed him to other students.
Haha, On the first day of class, he tells the Cat Story and that takes up the entire class period. He is pretty easy, but he can't teach to save his life. You'd better have a good friend to teach you the night before the test. His tests are just like the practice tests he hands out. Can't read his writing.

he is so funny. late for class. take a monday night fall class.. he will leave to watch football on breaks and he is always late haha.. he's freaking easy to deal with and he basically gives you the pretest as the test.
I love it when he says "just for old times sake". That kills me every time. That is the same as "just for conversation", which of course you need to know for the test...ok, the class is fairly easy as long as you can teach yourself the material.
This dude thinks he's funny, but really he's not! He thinks everyone should be a math teacher like him. Maybe someone could if they could understand him and his class!

This is the easiest math class I've ever had!! Mr. Cade's tests are easy as well. Do the homework before the test and you will ace it! He goes over the practice test before you take the actual exam and lets you use notes and the calculator. I haven't made less than 100 on a test yet.
Mr. Cade is a very poor Calculus teacher. He is not clear and a poor communicator. He is never on time for class. He is not very helpful because he can't explain things clearly. He does grade on a curve and gives practice tests to work on before taking the real ones. I hear he is a good stats teacher, but if you can avoid him for calc, do.
Very laid back teacher. Makes class fun to be in. Pretty funny at times. I didn't have a clue about stats but I now feel comfortable with it. Do the homework and practice quizzes and you'll do fine. I highly recommend CADE.
He's a good guy and his class is really easy, but I can't honestly say I learned anything in his class. His tests were easy and its good for your GPA, but I don't think I'd take it again.. for my brain's sake.
Mr. Cade is very confusing, he jumps from one idea to another and writes too fast. He does not speak clearly and he never really pays much attention to the students. I wouldn't recommend him for my class, College Algebra
Stay away! He really was not a good teacher at all. He shows up to class late. He often comes to class unprepared, not sure of what we did last class, or what to cover for the next class. He mumbles through lessons, speeds through, and makes it more confusing that it already is. Your entire grade comes from only 3 tests and your final.
For real i think this guy needs to step up in the communication department and try to make things clear for his students so we can learn the material and some how make it easier for us to understand what is going on in the class. Sometimes he is late and just an overall really bad teacher in my opinion some how he needs to get fired.
Got As in the majority of his tests. HOWEVER, i recommended anyone taking Mr Cade that going to the math lab before tests is a MUST. i absolutely had no friggen idea what he was talking about in class. he gives out practice tests for each test, which is really good because the actual test is the same thing, just different numbers :)
Good teacher.He is hard to understand sometimes, but if you ask questions he can help. He offers help after class. Practice tests are just like test and he gives extra credit on the test with the practice test.
Totally easier than College Algebra with Cade. Attend class and you will understand better, but tests are given with formula sheet and calculator. Do the practice test and tes will be VERY EASY!
Mr. Cade is a really nice guy he makes math (which i hate) fun. He thinks hes a comedian though and tries to tell jokes. Overall if you pay attention he is understandable, but if you only listen half time you will get confused. I got an a easy in this class and math is NOT my subject i am taking him again for college algebra and i highly recommend
i only passed because i already knew the material. he mumbles too much when teaching. go to class; keep notes and examples; BE THERE for the reviews because it's almost exactly like the test; and you'll have an easy A or B.
I loved Mr. Cade!!! He has been my best instructor so far! He doesn't leave the classroom until everyone understands the material. He loves the subject and even makes up his own problems! Great funny stories that pertain to the subject too! I LOVE MR. CADE!!!!
He is AWESOME! Very funny and makes math class something I enjoy attending. I had him for Inter Alg and it rocked so I wanted him for College Alg (took it at 730am for him!)
I am not a wiz at math but I've been doing pretty well the last few semesters...til I got in Mr. Cade's class. Don't get me wrong...he is one of the nicest teachers around...but he is just not good at getting the information into your head. He is just not every good at explaining the math and helping you comprehend it. Dont know math, dont take him
HE IS THE BEST TEACHER!!! I took all my math classes with him. A lot of friends told me Statistics is hard, but with Mr. Cade was an easy "A". If you do your homework or at least practice a couple of exercises you will be fine. Always do your SAMPLE TEST if you don't understand you can go to his office, he will help you.

Mr. Cade knows his subjects there is no question to that. But if you are a learner who needs more explination take another instructor. He is not great at explaining why or how he gets to the solution. If you don't get it visit his office, the math lab or another math teacher. Does force MY Math Lab.
Mr Cade is funny and easy going. I found this class to be pretty easy and I've always been bad at math. Really college alg. was just a review of what I already learned in Intermediate Alg. Mr. Cade is a good teacher. He just has a hard time staying on topic. If stupid people in class wouldn't distract him, it would be a lot better. Nice guy.
HE DOES NOT STAY ON TOPIC He is a nice man easy and teaches well I am terriable in math and came out of his class with a b+ but you do have to go to every class and earn your grade the worst thing was his stupid jokes that he constantly laughed at :( not funny
Do not take this guy unless you have time for extra tutoring also! I took him last semester and had to drop, along with half the class. I can't remember how many times he said,"oh well this is stuff you should already know people." Well, some of us didn't and we weren't learning it there. He is a nice guy but that didn't help me learn algebra.
the class was hard but i hate math. he tried to teach it as best he could. the online homework was really helpful. missed a few more than 3 days from class he doesn't really care though. he's very strict about talking and gossiping to a friend while he's trying to teach. made one girl leave class and she started crying. cool with me though made a B

Your final grade is made up of 70% basic tests (which there are alot of) and 30% for cumulative final. He gives a practice test, before every test and it's pretty much identical to the real thing. Homework is assigned, but not collected. Unlike some teachers he helps with how to input problems into the calculator.
pretty easy. go to class & take notes. he gives you example tests before each test. he gives you the answers to it. study & learn it. tests are almost exactly the same. book is needed only for example questions. probably could share book w/ someone else in class. no homework. we had a take home final. very funny teacher. easy A.

Mr. Cade's a good teacher. If you need help ask and he'll help you. Explain well shows examples. He'll assign home work for you practice and if you choose to do is up to..it's your grade. A fare teacher.
Very awesome teacher! Will always help when you need it. Tells a lot of stories and laughs a lot. Gives a few home tests and a take home final. I hate math but loved coming to this class! Very easy, little homework. EASY A!
He brings out the shyness and will use examples relating to modern day life to help explain the difficult stuff.

Mr. Cade is a really nice and helpful guy. He has fun teaching and tells really bad jokes, making class enjoyable. HOWEVER, he is very hard to understand, and his teaching method has no structure. If you don't get math easily DONT TAKE HIM. He does examples, but doesn't really tell you what hes doing, and makes alot of mistakes as he goes.

All tests are open formulas. Well grade tests right after you take them and gives extra credit for completing your homework. Nice guy, easy class.
He says, "Are you with me?" If I heard it once I heard it a 1,000 times - and never once was I "with it." If you have a good study partner & can learn how to use the TI-84 calculator, you'll pass the class. Tests are from the sample tests he gives out. Terrible teaching style - avoid!!!!!

He's far from a good teacher. He constantly says jokes all class. He'll go to his office for 15 minutes before class. He rushes through the questions and fails to explain it. It's hard to read his writing. Tests were easy. Formula sheets could be used on tests. Says tests will be one way, but then are different on test day. Rarely calls roll.
He was not the best teacher. Do not recommend him.
Mr. Cade is an Instructor who cares about his students, he wanted to make sure that you understood the material before moving on to the next chapter. He is very passionate about his work and it shows and that's why I think he is such an WONDERFUL Instructor an a asset to PSC.
Does not write out the steps, expects you to do everything "mentally" this class is a waste of my time and money. everyone in my class feels the same. has terrible hand writing very hard to read anything he puts on the bord. wasted alot of my time making jokes! do not take his class you will regret it!
A lot of the chapters that were taught he expected to have us learn "mentally," that seems to be his favorite word. He expects us to know exactly what he knows, without remembering that we don't have a math degree. It would be more helpful if he slowed down and explained things more while he teaches. Overall, I wish I picked a different teacher.

This class is a nightmare if you can not figure things out yourself. You will learn more about his personal life than you do math. Good luck if you have him, you will need it!!
This man is a poor excuse for a teacher. He thinks he is a comedian, NOT. He spends time every class telling how PSC and other universities have cheated him out of money. This man was a joke. I showed 15 min early to the first class how sad for me since he did not arrive and no one was able to get into the classroom for 45 minutes. He talked to much about personal issues instead of math. This man is a disgrace to teaching and should not be working anywhere. He was so bad I had to drop him and get a new class.

This class was no help at all. Joked around too much, talked about his personal life, and taught it as if we all already knew what we were doing. Was unclear in his directions and told us to "figure it out mentally" (never wanted to work anything out)I do not suggest taking this class with him.
He doesn''t know how to teach at all. If you aren''t very good at math I suggest taking another teacher. He talks to all his students like they are little kids he doesn''t realize this is COLLEGE not middle school.
Does talk too much about things we don't need to know and don't care about knowing, but is really easy to pass class. I think he ws he goes off topic too much so is very very lenient on grading. Lots of chances for extra credit as well. Is he a great teacher? Nah. Is he easy? Yes.
Do not take MR. Cade!!! Worst teacher ever. You will spend hours on line trying to teach yourself so you can pass. You will not learn Algebra... You will be frustrated the whole semester... Everyone in class will feel the same. Pensacola State should give refunds to anyone who has taken this class! You have been warned!
He was always off topic in the class, and when he was on topic his teaching was unclear and made no sense. I do not suggest this teacher to anyone.

You can not understand what he says and when you ask him to explain he just repeats what he said previously. Not helpful in the slightest. Better off teaching yourself.
He makes a lot of jokes that aren't really funny but they are to him. He teaches the whole class, you only get out early after tests. His study sheets are key to helping you pass tests. He hardly ever takes attendance. He's a nice guy and a good teacher is you pay attention. He does a lot of extra credit stuff so the points add up!
He's not a good teacher. He doesn't explain why things are a certain way and instead says this is how it is. In a class thats all about number relationships, its a key flaw. He gives etra credit, so you can pass, but if you aren't great at math, I'd stay clear. A kid who took calc in high school helped us and is the only reason I passed.
Great teacher!! I had him for two separate math classes and passed easily in both. He always had an open invitation for those students that needed a little extra help.
