All sections are pretty much set up the same so it does not matter too much on the teacher. There are class assignments and book tutorials for each lesson that you do in class and thats about it. Attendance is mandatory but you just work on the assignments. She is a nice lady and will help you if needed.

The entire class is on excel but Mrs. Faller is such a nice lady. She gives you reviews for the tests and if you do the homework you'll make a 100 on all the tests. Class is not hard at all. If you don't make a 100 then you're an idiot.

The tests are hard if you didn't study even though it is all on excel. There are in class projects and then class assignments which you should always make a 100 on. There are two parts to her test and she will drop the lowest exam grade for each. She takes attendance but i you finish work early she lets you leave

Such a sweet teacher who definitely cares about her students and will help them get the A if they show the effort. Class can get confusing, but not because of her, but because of the way it is set up and one mistake can ruin your whole excel document. Please take her! The best MGSC 290 teacher out there I promise. Easy A, no need for textbook.

she is so sweet! i had a rough time with the first test but still got an A. She drops the lowest test and class is super easy. she lets you leave early once you're done with your assignments. there's a project that takes about 1 hour to do with your group and everyone i know received 100 for it as long as the basic criteria was met. take her!!

Had Faller in the Fall semester twice a week. It's an easy enough class when you figure out the format. Do your Simbooks, go to class, and you'll get an A. The tests are difficult, but Faller is accommodating (not that heavy a weight on the grade and you get five attempts to get it right.) Sweet lady, wants you to succeed. I would take again.

She does almost all assignments with you in class so it's extremely easy to do well in that area of class. Exams are a little harder but mostly multiple choice! Overall, she's very friendly and a good professor.

IF you have for MWF class then she does every project with you and you should 100 on all of them. Homework is easy and step by step. Tests are 10 question walk through of different projects and the 10-20 multiple choice questions. Recommend take MWF

Take MGSC290 with Ms. Faller on MWF! She does every project step by step with you and the Simbooks are super easy. If you complete and study the study guides for her tests, they're easy A's. You have one easy group project. Her final was my easiest final; she gives you 100 questions to study and picks 50 for the exam. Make sure to come to class.

One of the best professors I have ever had! Attendance and class participation pays off in the long run. She'll work with you on your grade and extra credit, if you put effort into her class.

Mrs. Faller made coming to a boring class a lot more enjoyable. She is a real sweet lady and lets you know from the beginning what you need to do to pass. The class is mostly editing and creating excel spreadsheets but on certain days she walked the class through how to do everything. Definitely would recommend.

This class was a joke up until the group project. Everything is online and she gives you very specific study guides for the exam but you need to read the accompanying textbook to pass the application parts of the exams. Group project at the end is long and time consuming. Start early. Overall great teacher that cares about her students.

Literally the nicest lady here at USC. Shes is so helpful in class, if you ask a question she will help you. COME TO CLASS! theres a bunch of assignments that are done in class, but its like one a day, and she lets you leave when youre done. Ive been in class for like 10 minutes and left. Awesome Professor. Very nice lady and is always willing to help. Understands if you need to miss a class for important things. The only way you can't get an A in this class is if you never attend and forget to do all of the online assignments. Got zeros on 3 of them and still got a high A.

Since MGSC290 is required, you might as well take Faller. You will never have homework, she tells you what's going to be on the quizzes right before you take them, and basically everyone got an A who put in any effort. Also, she cares about her students a lot and is always willing to help. I wish she was teaching 291 next semester.

Easiest class ever! If you can read instructions and navigate Microsoft Excel, you'll get an easy A. You always get to leave class early if you finish your assignment, which usually takes about 10-15 minutes.

You have to go to class for attendance, but most of the assignments are really easy, and if you struggle Dr. Faller will help you out. There are lots of assignments and different categories of assignments so doing poorly on one thing won't wreck your grade. Buy the code, not the book, you need it to do the work and it gives you the online textbook.

I definitely recommend Professor Faller! She lets you leave when you are done with the work, and most of the work can be done at home anyway. She's always super eager to help and definitely knows what she's doing for MGSC 290. She goes over the answers to quizzes literally right before we take them, and the exams are super easy.

She lets us do the work in class and leave when we're done and it never takes more than 30 minutes. Seems to be the only professor who gives practice for the exams which if you want an A do them. Mrs. Faller is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. Shes someone that just makes your day better. Definitely take her class because you will have the honor of meeting this lady. This is the easiest class I have ever taken. At the beginning of the semester, you get to see exactly what is due and when. You can work ahead as little or as much as you want. If you've finished the assignment before it's due, you don't have to go to class. I've never been in the class more than 10 minutes at a time, other than for actual exams.

Lynn Faller is by far my favorite professor at UofSC. She genuinely cares about her students, and will work with you to get the best grade you can. Almost all work is done in class, and once work is completed you can leave. Take her if you can!

Mrs. Faller does make you come to class for the majority of the year, but the work is easy, and she is very good at helping with any questions you have! MGSC290 is a very easy class and Professor Faller doesn't make it harder than it has to be. All homework, quizzes, and tests are online. At the beginning of the year, we had to go to class but towards the end, as long as you had done your work, you didn't need to show up.

MGSC 290 (excel 101) is a tragically boring class, but it's not lynn's fault. she's very nice. exams are easy if you can read, and you're given five tries for each problem in a excel simulation. grading criteria is very clearly defined. little tolerance for late work, but it's so low-effort it's not a big deal unless you're forgetful.

Easiest class ever! Textbook and work is all online on a website called "SIMNET." All the work is done on your own time and you never have to go to class. Faller responds to emails quickly and said on the first day that the goal is for everyone to have a 100. On exams you have 5 attempts to answer each question correctly.

There were no extra credit opportunities, but the class was extremely doable if you just showed up to every class and studied a little before tests. Just make sure to always be early to her class and pay attention!

Very nice person but sometimes impatient. Says not to ask questions during tests but if you think there's a glitch you should ask anyway. The Let Me Try's in Sim Net are exactly like the tests, especially the final and you get 3 attempts per question. Very easy class if you do them and every test should take you like 15 minutes.

Attendance policy is confusing, but you can complete assignments on your own. Cancelled class almost every Friday.

Each class was a step by step completion of assignments, she didn't make the content confusing at all and would be willing to help if anyone needed it. She would also usually not require us to attend class on Friday and if you finished an assignment early in class, you were free to go. Not a stressful class at all, highly recommend her!

Told us how to do each project in class so there was never any homework. This is a class that is not as easy as it seems, start studying early because the tests are hard if you do not know the steps. Make sure to read the chapters.

Mandatory Attendance is the one caveat of this class. You pretty much have to teach yourself everything, but its easy to do so with the Show Me videos and Let Me Try's in the textbook. Goat every class is spent doing the daily excel work and she explains step by step, but if you complete it before class you can just sign in and leave. either way you get out early everyday. exams and quizzes are easy if you review the night before

Nice person, and a fine teacher but you rarely have to be in class to see her teach. Class is Intro to Excel, and you can do the assignment in 20 minutes at home, show up for attendance and leave. Entire class is on Simnet. 3 vocab quizzes, 3 excel exams, 1 excel Final exam (she gave an option to take it early), all in person.
