Horrible awful, not really a teacher even but a proctor who has the final say and can kick you out of class for finishing a test 2 minutes late. Recomend not taking MTH 102 if you can help it.

She is the DEVIL. She is unable to teach Math. She will make you feel stupid for not understanding her terrible explainations.

Such a horrible woman!! No help at all, just has her proctors do the work (stay away from the foreign one!) Try not to take her class, she's not even a professor.

Come equipped to this class with two things..a pillow, and a stake. Instructions...Stake foreign proctor..sleep. Cause that's all this class will be good for. Bloodshed and a nap.

All this work and not even a real grade. Ms Ford is hateful. My proctor and the helproom proctors suck. The big guy Eric and the short teacher-girl Terra are the only good proctors. They know what they're talking about and care about helping us pass.

Lynn Ford is by far the worst teacher ever. Will she doesn't deserve to be called a teacer becasue she doesnt teach. When something comes up in the class and you go to talk to her,you get no where! Your better off talking to a brick wall!She is very rude!

You don't get a grade for this class and it doesn't help you at all. That foreign lady is the devil. Stay away from her. This class is very poorly constructed and NO, Ms. Lynn Ford. This system does NOT work. It discorages you from learning math.

NEVER TAKE DEV 095 @ wsu. EVER. This class is horrible, especially if you struggle wth math. Lynn is NO help whatsover, sometimes you wonder if she has a heart (she'e extremely cold). Take math anywhere else, avoid this class at all cost. I failed 3x....

WSU made me take this class and I finished in in 5 weeks, no thanks to Lynn. Anyone who struggled with math didn't finish the class. Go to the helproom at least once a week and you'll be fine, but Lynn is NEVER in the room so you may not know who she is

People, this class is easy.. Just show up to class and go to the help room as many times as possible. To make it clear how easy it is to finish in one quarter i failed several test and surveys and still finished on time.

I got a 15 out of 20 and that would be considered passing...but not in this class. I was so close but nope I have to take the class again. It sucks I hate math even more than ever.I hate how they give you so much work then pile on more.

If you need help in Math, you won't get it! This is the WORST 'teacher' I've ever had during my 14yrs of school. Poorly run program-that's why most students have to take that class more than once! WOW what a class. I have a really good GPA, but now feel like a 3rd grade retard. Teacher informed us the first day that this would be the only time she came to class we were on our own. Sure we have proctors and they are very good at helping us, but some instruction from a professor would be nice. It's great to pay $600 to teach yourself.

i hate this woman i tried to be nice to her one day and just talk to her and she started yelling at me and said we can only talk about math in that class

shrewed and unhelpful class. i took it at wsu, failed then transfered to ou and aced it because the prof. actually taught the class. i wouldnt doubt her proctors, relatives, and more than likely her leaves the responses to make her look better. granted there are a few proctors who know what they are doing and will go out of their way to help.

This is the worst math class i have ever been in. She is not a good instructor and should be banned from teaching at a college level. she does not know how to conduct a class and keep order. since she got a job at wsu of course she's not stupid; she just need to take Com 101 for some communication skills.

Lynn Ford is not a good professor. She doesn't teach at all. She has proctors who just grade you. If you have a question, ask the proctors. They don't teach you, you have to read it and understand it yourself. The proctors are students themselves. We're paying for an education by a professor, not other students.

This is by far the worst class i have ever taken... The foreign proctor is degrading and rude. I went out of the help room in tears several times due to the way she made me feel. comments like "Are you stupid" "Dont you know anything!" I kid you not these brutal words were used toward not only me but other students. I recommend avoiding this class

Lynn Ford is the worse teacher in the world. She doesn't do anything and she doesn't ever help any of the students. She is power hungry. Im sorry if you have to take this class...I recommend taking the class at night instead of having to deal with her ****assness lol

If student attendance is mandatory, the instructor's should be, too. This so-called instructor doesn't bother to show her face in the class for more than a few minutes a week, and will not answer questions. Student proctors do ALL of the work for her. When she does make a rare appearance, she is condescending and rude. Avoid if possible.

Well I agree that Lynn has no soul and was really surprised to see that she was a Mrs and not Ms because no one in their right mind would marry her. It's pretty sad that wsu has hired such a horrible person to be a part of their team. It's only a matter of time before WSU gets in serious trouble because of something Lynn says or does.

Take the night class if you can. The day classes are 'taught' by Lynn who just has student proctors monitor your progress. There is no teaching in this class. Whoever said it was time consuming is right because you teach yourself. Proctors don't help.

I took this class spring quarter of '09 and passed. However, it was the only class I took and I believe that is why I passed. I was able to devote all my time to it. You will need to work hard and SPEND EVERY FREE MINUTE YOU HAVE in the Help Room. You mainly teach yourself. Lynn (along with some of the proctors) think its funny to belittle you.

This class is the definition of Hell itself. You have to teach yourself the concepts. Lynn and Nimi (the foreign lady) are rude, and make you feel very stupid. I've had to take this class 3 times to get anywhere close to passing it. There is so much work to do in the class. You have to spend every waking second of your day in the help room to pass

What happened to the dozens of poor ratings Lynn had on here? Either way, the first time I got on this website, I noticed that Lynn had the most ratings and they were all negative - but true. She is heartless. It doesn't matter how you do in the class. She is degrading and a worthless teacher.

She is AWFUL! when taking the pre-test finished 2 minutes after the deadline time,& she just kicked me out of the class. said I could no longer come because I didn't start taking that test by the deadline time! the rudest woman ever! She has the class set up so that even if you take the lecture version of the class it is very difficult to pass especially if you have a learning disability in math. She does not understand that students with math disabilities will probably need to have partial credit in order to pass.

Class itself is pretty simple, however Mrs. Ford is extremely rude. I had a pretty rough semester and couldnt make it to some classes. I finished the entire course a month early, but she wouldnt let me take the final because of 2 unexcused absences, even with doctors excuses. She failed me and wasnt accommodating in any way.

She was very unhelpful and rude. The math proctors vary . sometimes their helpful other rimes they aren't. when i went to tutoring they did not know how to help because you need ford's permission to go to a tutor . So useless. i hate that class . get done as soon as possible and move on .

This class and the "professor" are awful! I will never understand a MATH class that is online and there is no teacher to help you. The helpers try their best. But Lynn Ford is not a professor is just a overseer. Most people fail this class the first time. Also ALEKS cost 100 dollars...take your math elsewhere!!!!!!

I hated this class. And I especially didn't like the professor, she was rude and mean. One day I had asked a friend next to me a simple question over a problem I was working on, she came up behind me and asked "Is he your professor?" and when I said No, she belittled me for not knowing how to solve the problem.

Mrs. Ford is the rudest professor I have ever had. She is extremely unpleasant and disrespectful with a strict, stern attitude. She treats the class like prison and the proctors are like correctional officers. Avoid taking this teacher at all costs.
