She makes boring english classes into a socialize club. A lot of fun discussions. I really recommened her to ESL or international students.

She is very helpful, nice, and interesting. She always talk about different ideas and you can do some thinking about life in her classes. Really good teacher.

Great professor. She helps you to think critically. She's not a hard grader as long as you do your part of the work. Just a couple of quizzes and some times you can skip the final. you must not have more than three absences though; otherwise, your grade goes down.THE BEST FOR INTERANTIONAL STUDENTS!

I think Mrs. Forkos might look a little mean. But she's not and I don't care what other people say about Mrs. Forkos. She's really strict, serious and a very open-minded person. I'd never someone like Mrs. Liang and Mrs. Forkos love me before. Man! Do I feel so speical or what. Their absolutely amazing.

I've never read a book in my life. This was the first book i was actually interested in. Just a Final and a few mini test for the book (EASY) and 5 papers. EASY A!

I took Forkos class last summer(Nadia) she is not just the nicest professor at CSN but a good person. She will help you in all ways. I have language barrier as I am from Pakistan. But her classes keeps you interested till the very end. This class helped me a lot and gave me confidence. Extremely sweet teacher. I highly recommend her.

A great and respectable person. It is very clear that Professor Forkos loves her job. A value every good teacher must have. She will help anyone in need. The class isn't super easy, but it is not supposed to be, work your best, and you'll get a good grade. I recommend this class, you will learn a thing a two not just about English composition.

Best english class I have had so far. I really enjoyed all the in class discussions. We talked a lot about current events. This is an english class so there papers to write. They are graded fairly. This professor truly cares about her students. Just remember to be respectful to everyone.

Professor Forkos is a fantastic teacher. She genuinely cares about the students and does what she can to help everyone understand the concepts discussed. Attendance is not mandatory but participation is encouraged. Don't expect to do the minimum amount of work and still get a good grade. If you pay attention and do the work, you'll do well.

Her class was entertaining. She gets upset/dissapointed easily. Not everyone is going to like her class. If you're good in English take her for an easy A. Attendance mandatory or you will fail. READ YOUR STUFF. This instructor is not reccomended for Foriegn exchange students.It is either you know your material or you do not.She is a sweet lady.

Professor Forkos is AMAZING! Her class is super easy. For homework she likes to assign short readings from the book. Make sure you speak up in her class because participation points are given. She gives in class essays but she goes over the topics few days before. She really cares about her students and makes her class fun. I have no complaints.

Professor Forkos is amazing! She made English very interesting. I went into the class expecting only to do boring bookwork and essays, but she shows movies that are related to topics, and she talks about them at the end. She really cares about her students, which is important and key to a great professor! Highly recommend her!

Amazing professor! Must read to get a good grade, she reminds the class that you will not get an A if you get a 0 on anything! Homework is reading from the book. In class essays and one take home is all you do. No notes, just discussions on current events and films. Loved her class, learned so much! And she truly cares for her students. TAKE HER!(:

What an amazing teacher! Taking this class has helped me work through my social anxiety and public speaking fears. She is very opinionated, but allows everyone to voice their own opinions. I would continue to take English classes that aren't required for my degree if this wasn't her last semester. She is a wonderful professor.
