Professor Gargan will go out of her way to help you if you have a true desire to be helped. She does her best to help you understand the material. The classes are hard but she makes it bearable. If most of the class misses a few questions on the test, she decides that she must not have gotten it across and usually will give extra points.

Her class can feel like a high level discussion that has you lost if you don't read the chapters before class. Easy going & fun in class but her exams are long. Better study & take notes on frequent hints at test questions. If she says "you need to know this" then know it for the exam! She will take time after class to clear up tough concepts.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE class. She says 1 thing, test is over something completely different. Her "reviews" are nothing, she will ask the class about 3-4 ?'s on the test. Tries to make things easy but instead confuses you more. Im very disappointed in this teacher, I choose her based on her ratings. She seems to get pleasure from seeing her class struggle.

Dr.Gargan is known around campus as THE professor to take if you need an "A" for your program. A&P is used as a "weed out" class at TCC, so it's challenging no matter who you take. The difference is having a professor who is willing to go the extra mile for students. You will spend hours outside of class studying-that's a given, but she's the best!

Professor Gargan has a great sense of humor.. BUT any anatomy teacher is going to be extremely hard. Knowledgeable, give good explanations and examples, organized, but way to rigid with homework and assignments technicalities that not related to the learning process. Kind of ice rules that are needlessly discouraging, not good in that sense. A pity to get lower score for reasons not related knowledge and skills.
