She is a great teacher, but not super easy. She gets very fired up about certain subjects and keeps you entertained.

She is a teacher with a lot to say, it is fun listening to her. She is really nice. It is kind of a hard class, and she grades pretty tough.

For inspiration, not an easy A, she's as good as it gets. She's energetic, a little unorthodox and way involved in the history program at Sierra. Be prepared for heated debates.

You can tell she could possibly a very stricked person, but with good reason. She talks very fast but I can can get a brain wave in to catch it, not sure about the other students. Her most used line is "I'll be very carefull here..."

Never thought I could learn so much from a liberal teacher, she doesnt make you change your opinion to get a good grade.... I worked my tail off to get a good grade, and I am glad that she say that and worked with me to give me the grade I deserved

I absolutely loved this class! She is so passionate about what she is teaching to you. She struggled throughout her life and is such a good rolemodel for others! She lets you use an index card for her test and holds study groups on her free time. I loved her class. She is so easy to talk to and is so nice!

This class was great. Everyone should take a womans history class. The information is really easy to understand. Lynn mostly wants her students to understand ideas, so there are not a lot of dates to memorize. This class is really easy if you pay attention. But she does grade hard, or badly, on her essays.

Very interesting, enthusiastic, and down-to-earth teacher. Lots of reading on the subject, which I did. However, her tests were difficult because of the way they were worded (some of the multiple-choice answers could have gone either way). The essays were a breeze for me. I enjoyed this course because of the way she conducted it.

Beware that while the class is awsome and fun there are some boring essays and some disscussion questions that can be boring or confusing but if you do your work and follow the lectures (which is exiting...seriously) then you'll do great. As with most of the Instructors at Sierra, you've got to play a bit of a game an go along with their point of view or it WILL effect your grade. Overall, good class, good material, good Instructor.

Willing to help with anything, just have to ask. On test you get a note card and has an extra study class if you want to attend b4 the test.

She is really helpful. Her classes are challenging but if you talk to her one-on-one she goes out of her way to help you understand better. She let me borrow movies and books from her, and they were really enlightening. Take her classes.

I hated us history in high school, but i loved lynn's class. She helps you understand how history is important and makes you want to learn. It's not that hard if you read and listen to her lectures. You MUST earn the grade however, and have a good sense of humor.

I enjoyed the online class. Posting short essays online twice a week and replying to other students short essay was the main thing for the class. The midterm & final were extremely hard, but she gave extra credit options, so there is no way to do bad in this class.

this is a very demanding class & teacher. I'm taking it online & it seems that if you don't sign into blackboard everyday she is sending you e-mails saying "where are you". Compared to every other online class this is not easy. If you don't read other students conversations she docks you points. She's ok.

I was 1 of maybe 5 guys in this class and I didn't feel awkward about it at all. Subjects like birth control were easy to talk about. If you simply keep an open mind then this class will be enjoyable like any other class. But if you remain wrapped in your own beliefs you will hate it... and should probably go work for a church or something.

I have taken two of her classes, I especially enjoyed the US history course. What I enjoy about Lynn is she takes it to the next level, she expects you to be analytical. If you take one of her classes you will learn new skills that will be helpful in other classes. Sierra College is lucky to have her. This class will prepare you for a University.

I learned so much in her class and loved it. Took online, make sure your DB's are very detailed and do all the reading. Gives you a study guide for multiple choice midterm and final, which are a little hard so make sure to study. 1, 4 page paper based on a novel, you get to choose out of 3 books. Overall great, but lots of reading for a JC class.

This class is not hard!It's not an easy A but she is very clear on what she wants from you and there is little homework! The textbook is a must but as long as you do all the reads she gives then you will ace your tests. The books she has you choose from for the paper are all great reads unlike any other history class I have taken. Lynn is amazing!

She knows the material, gives descent grades, & is fair. she is opinionated but I disagreed w/ some of her views in our last paper on the ERA and she gave me 100% because I backed everything up with evidence. I did this class as a televised class. Lynn is a great teacher who is very passionate about what she does. There is a lot of reading, so be prepared for that. Usually one quiz a week, but only 5 questions, and based off of the reading. There were a few essays due, but she was very clear about what she expected. Overall, great class.
