He is nice guy. He will teach you how to use the SPSS program very well. Let him know you and you will pass. But I do not like his quizzes.

Excellent professor.Passionate about sociology. Quizzes frequently but were only 1 or 2 questions. Many articles to read but no required text which was great. Keep up with your reading & you would do well. Very clear & thorough. He would repeat the information so you would be able to take notes. He encouraged you to ask questions. Great class!

This professor can get under your skin. You MUST open your mind to the ideologies that he teaches and is so passionate about. The readings are long; and I never was able to finish all of them. You MUST attend class as he gives quizzes & shows videos; plus if you don't, you truly miss alot of knowledge. I would take Dr. M again in an instant.

This professor is very passionate about his profession. It's great attending his classes because one comes out with more knowledge than before you came in with.

He was awesome, not an easy A. Hell not an easy B. Just do the readings and study and you will pass. Tests are tricky and we wants you to learn. He loves and knows his stuff. You will learn and never forget what he teaches you and how important it is in life to know. He is an angel trainer who makes you work hard for your wings.

This class is extremely easy. All you have to do to get an A is go to class, take notes, and listen. I studied for an hour right before the tests and got 1 or 2 Q's wrong; they're NOT tricky at all, just common sense. There is only little book and I didn't even read it. EASY EASY EASY A, I don't know what anyone else is talking about.

Read/review/pay attention, super easy, really interesting to listen to him and he's really interested in his students and what they observe outside of last. Serious, take this PROF!!

Great, engaging professor. 3 exams, no papers, no additional assignments. If you come to class and take notes, you will do well in his course. Keep an open mind and listen, you will learn a lot. Exams are not based on memorization, but rather how you can apply the knowledge you have learned to real scenarios. Will definitely take him again!

Dr. Mobasher is PASSIONATE about teaching! Though he does not make attendance mandatory, he is so attentive, that he knows which students miss class or come in late without taking role. He is very engaging and seems to care about the students. If you attend class, you will have what you need to pass his exams. No textbook. :)

AMAZING PROFESSOR. He is by far my favorite professor. TAKE LOTS OF NOTES. He says his exams are not easy but i found them to be easy. He uses different scenarios as the questions on the test so he can make sure you understand what he teaches and not just memorizing it. Very interesting class and amazing professor! Dr M is AWESOME! He is so incredibly passionate about the material you can not help but become interested in the topics he discusses. Attendance is not mandatory but you will want to go to class. Exams are multiple choice. Gives an extra credit assignment. Highly recommended

No homework. 3 tests. Didn't buy textbook, didn't need it. But do need to take lots of notes in class. He emphasizes what you need to know for the tests. If you miss a class, get notes or buy the book. Doesn't take attendance but if you miss a lot, it will reflect on your test grades. Encourages students to come to his office hours for help.

May seem intimidating at first, but he's actually a very passionate professor. He made it very clear on the first day that he won't have any BS in his class. His teaching style is smooth and clear. I definitely recommend him.

Honestly this man is AMAZING!! I was very judgmental but, that quickly changed while in his class. He'll tell you if you have a close mind please drop my class because we won't get along lol. Only 3 grades including the final, lectures until class ends, and no homework. PAY ATTENTION in his class everything he say's will be on the test. GOOD LUCK

Professor Mobasher is my favorite professor at UHD so far hands down. He's the first professor to have my complete attention from beginning to the end of class. You can tell he is passionate about what he does and it shows in his lectures. He can get deep, he can be funny, only 3 tests and 1 final. No quizzes. 10/10 Definitely recommend his class.

His online class requires a lot reading. he only gives 3 tests; questions are taken from assigned articles, text book and supplemental videos. he posts discussion questions to gauge your understanding of concepts. he is very helpful, just be ready to earn your grade - yes, i would take him again.

Teaches globalization from a communist perspective. This is great if you plan to work in foreign affairs/intelligence/etc to learn how many in the East think. If you plan to work in corporate America, this class will actually make you less employable. Weekly small writing assignments & quizzes, presentation, midterm/final. Overall a good prof.

Mobasher is the best professor I've ever had, hands down. His lectures are amazing, and the subject matter is engaging and enlightening. I plan on taking every class he offers. A few tips: Go to class, put your cell phone away, be on time, and take notes. You'll have three multiple choice tests, and that's it. Extra credit opportunity too.

One of the best inspirational teachers that I've taken at UHD. He simply doesn't care about letter grades and will tell you this. Also., lectures are amazing and engaging. This was an excellet class. Awesome instructor. Attention: ONLINE classes require good time management skills! If you read the textbook and the resources he posts, you will succeed. Only three exams and one project. Replies emails quickly and gives helpful feedback. Do not wait at the end of the semester to talk to him. Keep in touch as you go

Took this class online. Each week we had to read and watch videos provided in the syllabus. Gives one project and three exams. Provides reviews for the exams. As long as you read and watch the videos, the exams and project shouldn't be too difficult. Professor is quick to respond and gives helpful answers to your questions.

I took his class in person and I personally prefer in person because he doesn't give PowerPoints, he only lectures and you have to write what he says. You can ask him to repeat. 3 exams, one simple project (you're free to present but you don't have to); he will play vids in class (some of the stuff will be on the exams). Gives more details in class

Took this class Spring 2018, actually enjoyed it. You have to keep up, but Dr Mobasher is great and if you reach out for help he will help you any way he can. Very nice and gives good feedback. I also took him for SOC 1303 online and the classes are structured the same. 2 exams, 1 final and 1 major paper.

Dr Mobasher is a excellent professor. Took this class online Spring 2018 and did not have any issues. He explains what he wants in the syllabus just follow along and you will do fine. Gives Exam reviews study those and you will make an A. Super helpful if you express you need help with something, very nice. He loves what he does and it shows.

Definition of learn it yourself class. Resources he provides for tests are helpful. Soci textbook is helpful take some notes a few days before test and learn them thoroughly you'll ace the tests. Did not use his textbook but I know it's free online. Overall pretty good class, beware you have to put in the work he will not guide you like other prof!
