I don't know how he was for class but for lab he was super easy. I got an A. Very nice guy, approachable, & helpful when you need it. Just read the lab book & don't fool around in class & you'll be fine.

I took for the lab course on Wed evenings and this professor doesn't really teach. He just explains the lab and continues his own work. The fist ten minutes of class his gives a quiz over the new lab-material you're going to be doing in class that day. He was very leniant last semester bc so many classes were canceled.

The class itself is very difficult & you have to study a lot to do well but Professor Singh is a GREAT teacher. He really wants all of his students to do well. He has so much patience & will keep going over things until you fully understand. He doens't mind answering questions, is easy to talk to & has a great sense of humor. He's awesome!

In his lab classes, he explains what needs to be done and encourages questions. In addition, he is quick to answer any questions and explain any difficult concepts. What makes it easy to enjoy his class is because he has a very relaxed personality and a great sense of humor. He makes every effort to encourage all stundents to do well in his class. I thought chemistry was suppose to be hard but taking it with Singh it was easy. he will go over the information until you understand the material, he will show you different ways to do the calculations he also let's you drop a test and he curves. Take his class you will NOT regret it. and I hate math

He was very hard when it came to tests. Taking this class in the summer will definitely stress you out if you are not prepared for it. The good thing about him is that he drops the lowest test grade and he will do some curving to help you out. I hate chemistry and I'm just happy that I passed it. DON'T EMAIL HIM..He doesn't answers...

I thought he was a ok teacher:) He explained stuff really well. There is about 5 tests (I think) and he drops the lowest grade (except for the final). Also, on the test he has a bonus question so that you can get about 5 extra points.

I am taking the final this week and expect an A in this class. I have taken Chemistry twice before (last time almost 10 years ago) and I loved this class and the teacher. He will go back and explain things over if you do not understand and the tests come from the homework and the lecture. I have yet to read a chapter. AWESOME TEACHER!!!

Highly recommend this professor. Very helpful and has a nice personality! Takes first half an hour to answer questions from homework assingment and does it with great patience. English is my third language and I can say he was clear in explaining the subject. Subject is not easy, you have to read the book and do the HW, and do not get behind.

Prof. Singh is a great prof. If you are in Nursing, take him for 1032 and 1032 Lab. CHM is not an easy class, but he makes it easy to understand. His tests are fair AS LONG AS YOU DO THE HW; He always review HW in class; test questions come from his HW; he will drop the lowest test grade so no fear; he gives out 5 points for xtra credit on his test. What else can you ask for?! Highly recommend him for CHM1032 and CHM1032Lab

Very patient professor, I had in last semester and he went over the problems as much as we would ask him to. He was great,he showed us easier ways to do the calculations than the book and he also let's you drop a test and curves. I highly recommend him for CHM1032. I'm planning on taking the lab with him in the future.

He is great. You have to do the work though or you will not pass. He is very detailed at explaining things. And will review homework with you, he also provides xtra credit with every test. Its a hard class and he tries to make it as simple as possible, by breaking it down. If you have to take the lab too, I suggest taking him as well.

Have a 4yr degree -Bachelor's of Arts in Business. A/B student. Chemistry is challenging for me but this professor is very clear about what is expected. Some students have natural ability for science & math. If you are weak in this area. You will have to study harder than you imagined (25+ hours a week). If you are weak in science, get a tutor from day one! Don't wait! This professor is clear about what is expected. DO YOUR HOMEWORK. 5 tests (xtra credit questions), lowest grade is dropped.

AWESOME teacher.. I took him during the 6 wk summer course. So its fast paced. You NEED to study EVERYDAY.. His test can be tricky. But if you study and do the HW, you should be ok. He's very nice. Need to attend class or you will be lost. Gives 25 pts for attendence. If u miss a day, u will lose 5pts. Take him for lab too.. He's great there also..

What he gives you is what you need to study. Just write when he says something and write when he writes something. Very simple, extremely helpful. He cared about me like a person - I didn't feel like just another student! Highly, highly recommended. I was SO scared and dreaded chemistry and he made clear. I him for lab. Good teacher. His grading policy is heavily weighted toward completion of the labs (so do them and you'll get a good grade). He does have some trick questions on his tests, so be careful with the wording. All in all, a good teacher.

Chemistry is the not the easiest of subjects but Mr.Singh made it pretty easy for me.His explanations and problem solving approach were a winning combination for me. The key to being succesful in 1032 it to work on the chapters a little bit everyday. Got an A, thanks Mr. Singh.

You must understand that chemistry is not an easy subject..Professor Singh is a wonderful teacher and he is also very helpful..homework is not graded but it helps to do them..my downfall was taking this class with AP#1 otherwise I would have gotten the A..my final grade in the class was a "B".

One of the best profs in BC. I dreaded Chem before. He makes sure that everyone knows the lesson before moving on by answering all the questions fr students. Grades are fair based on exams and offers extra credit, too with attendance. Just do the homework every day and you'll get an A!

Do all the labs. Try to do the labs correctly. Take your time on them. He grades them. The test's are graded along with the labs. Do all your labs and test's. I got a B and had to put effort. overall, a great professor. Just study and try your best. He is very helpful as well!+

Singh is an OK teacher. He does not go over things as thoroughly as he could and he goes through the material quickly. The class was fast. It is best if you read the chapters before class, then it is much easier to grasp the information and follow along. I liked the textbook, it was clear and simple to understand.

A very good professor, but you do have to study. Also, be sure to read the material before class as he assumes that people have to some degree. He gives several online quizzes and 4 (I think) tests. The tests are not easy, but not impossible if you put in the effort.

He's a really good instructor, and he grades fairly. The first two tests were challenging but the second two we were aloud to use a notecard and a 8.5x11 paper respectfully. All tests are multiple choice. If you put in the work you get a good grade. I got an A in lecture and lab. He drops lowest test grade and lab.

Great professor! Your grade highly depends on the effort you put into class and studying. Fair professor. Try to get all 100's on the quizzes, the quizzes add up to one test grade because he drops the lowest test grade. Professor Singh made the chemistry lab fun and interesting! He definitely knows his subject and is always willing to help you when needed. He makes his class straight-forward and all you have to do is listen, follow directions and make sure your lab/lab reports are done before next class. No micromanaging in this class. I would take his class again

Took this course in 6 weeks. It goes by extremely fast and overall the course was really easy. Most annoying part was the lab reports. You have to buy a lab manual for the class, then basically have to hand-write everything from that manual in a lab report, for each lab. Besides that, the class wasn't hard, just tedious.

Knows his subject and teaches it in a way that anyone can understand it. He tells you exactly what to expect and teaches you the most important material. He gives PLENTY of opportunities to bring up your grade. I think he was fair and funny. He listens and answers your questions. He does not start his class with "half of you will fail" like others.

class was doable. It was time consuming but he gives so much extra credit. It's literally impossible for you to fail. Homework assignments are due at the end of the semester. Exams and discussions have strict due dates so make sure you stay organized. He's not bad at all.

I took professor Singh fully online for Lab only. He was okay, grading was good except when you get something wrong he does not provide feedback. But other than that, class was easy and I would not mind taking him again for a Lab
