can be unclear at times, but class is a breeze

I know music, but she is confusing! She doesn't like to help people very much.
Very confusing and doesn't wish to help. If you know music it is easy!

The word useless comes to mind. All I know is, I got my C and I'm done!
she's nice but kind of spacey
one word horrible
very impatient, kinda annoying
shifts the blame to the students for her shortcomings...not pleasant
confusing, jumps from topic to topic

she is an horrible teacher...she is very unclear..i took 11 years of music in high school and I still didn't understand her and she even started to confuse me! she grades very unfairly and can be very aggressive and mean to her students! should be fired!!
I'd like to know where her grades come from! My tests say one thing but my final grade says another. Don't take her.
Never went to class...got notes from others because this woman was really weird. Her hair, clothes, and attitude must go.

She is strange and her class lectures are horrible, but it's an overall easy class. She jumps subjects and moves quickly, but as long as you keep up with the pointless busywork, you'll get a good grade.

Everybody hates her and I don't know why. Yeah she's a little weird, but she's probably intimidated cause everybody makes fun of her all the time. I'd be a bad teacher too if people made fun of the way I act instead of listening to what i'm teaching.
VERY EASY!!! The only way you will fail this class with her is if you never show up! I have friends who never sang or played an instrument in their lives and they got an A in this class.

She was extremely strange. IF you pay attention and go to class, you will be fine, especially if you have prior knowledge of music.

she's twitchy, for lack of a better word. she is so hard to understand it's not even funny. she stutters and mumbles through her class and is not helpful at all! she loses people's homework and doesn't take responsibility for it. she's extremely eccentric and gets ZERO respect in the classroom!
She's odd, doesn't teach well at all. Very unorganized, and doesn't pay attention to everyone to see if they need help. Though she's shown me some mercy so she's alright...easy grades:)
She is the weirdest, most random person ever! If you have no prior knowledge of music, the class can be pretty hard. She expects a lot in a short amount of time and she doesn't do a good job of teaching the material. I definitely wouldn't recommend her.
basically, shes the devil...not to mention the worst teacher I have ever had, EVER. She's an idiot, a poor excuse for an educator, and she has ugly teeth and a hideous speaking/singing voice. I can't wait for teacher evaluation day! Did I mention she was the devil?
COMPLETLELY DIFFICULT IF YOU HAVE NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF MUSIC WAY TO MUCH TO QUICKLY BUT HAS A LOT OF KNOWLEDGE ALTHOUGH SHE DOESNT KNOW HOW TO CONVEY IT TO STUDENTS
SHES IS THE WORST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD I THINK SHE IS THE DEVIL AN SHE SHOULD NOT BE A EDUCATER
I have extensive prior musical experience and I'm practially failing this class. She is a horrible grader and can't teach. Her test are the worst, She marks an answer wrong, even though the right answer itsn one of the choices. The only advice is have is if you have her, SWITCH OUT OF HER CLASS NOW!
Hard to hear, talks to softly. Does not know how to teach music to persons without prior music knowledge. This class was a waste of time!!!!
If you have no previous musical experience, good luck. Even if you do, her lessons make no sense and she rushes through everything she teaches. Worst teach ive ever had.
Take this class. You'll love it.
Ok one word.... TWIT! Amazing musician, just can't teach it if life depended on it. Just as Cruella Devill can't work with dalmations, she can't work with students, if you catch my drift... Resemblance much?
she has a love for music and expresses that through her class. She is laidback and understands that not all of her students share her passion, so she tries to make her class interesting for everyone!
I thought she was an easy professor because I have a large music background. However, if you don't have any prior knowlege about music, do not take her class because it could be pretty confusing. If you do have music experience, take it because it is an easy A.
the WORST conductor i've ever had in my life. gross teeth, stands too close to you when she talks, SEVERELY bad hair, and a flake. She's also my advisor and doesn't know anything about the university. get as far away from her as possible while you still can!
not hard, follow book, look over each study guide and follow that and youll do fine
okay so she talks weird and has crazy hair. she knows too much about music to be able to explain it well because she just assumes u know what shes talking about. i think its a fun class because u get to play the recorder and the piano. its better than listening to a lecture.
A little out there but will do whatever she can to help you unlike many of the other music professors. She is fair and knows her stuff and interested in your learning. If you have to take a class in music, take it from her.
A bit of a strange lady. Let's her class "noodle" with the keyboard/recorder while she teaches so even if she could teach you can't really piece it all together. Very knowledgable of music, but assumes you know what she is talking about when she teaches. Consider yourself lucky if you know about music before taking this class, because its an easy A
This woman couldn't teach out of a paper bag. SHe needs to be fired. The person who gave her the license to teach is abosloutely insane. Her class is a waste of time and you'd be better off teaching strings to yourself.
This class is terrible. She really shouldn't be teaching. I dreaded going to this class every day, and if there's any way around her, you should do it. She's very unclear and is unwilling to help anyone. She really doesn't teach you anything, so you'd be better off teaching yourself.
Horrible teacher. She may be a fine musician but she has no teaching skills what so ever. She can never get the message across to the students even with simple concepts. Huge waste of time.
boring....shes not the greatest teacher in the world but if u need something jsut for credits or just to take up time....u will survive this course....shes not a good teacher but u can still easily pass the class with a little effort
Okay, I think I could teach this class better. I mean, she does make some good points and all, but not to the point to explain it to people that have never had music experience before. Plus, she looks like Elaine from Seinfeld... >.>
an easy class, but not because of her teaching. very confusing, disorganized and scatter-brained, you're better off tuning her out and reading the book.
She may be scatter-brained at times, but when you are in a difficult situation she will try to help and give suggestions. She even helped me after leaving the school because of other professors there.
Dr. Darmiento is an awesome Professor. Sure, she can be a little scatter-brained, but ALL the best musicians are! She cares a lot about her students and is always willing to try her hardest to help. I had for Strings I and Strings Pedagogy. I plan on taking her in the future and highly recommend her. (P.S. She studied at YALE CONSERVATORY!)
Class was a joke, she has no idea what she's talking about half the time, and has answered questions wrong. She gave us assigned seats. She makes you look like a moron anytime you ask a question. Easy A class but I wouldn't reccomend taking it with her. She thinks she is special bc she went to Yale, so then why is she teaching at MU!??
hard to follow
my lord, when this women opens her mouth i want to punch something. she says the word "folks" every other word. very unorganized but the class is super easy. drops your lowest test score. but...listening to her speak was an awful, awful experience. she just gets on my nerves
easy A but she is annoying. i would recommend taking it with her though cause i heard the other sections with other teacher actually do work. darmiento is crazy but if you deal with that you get an easy A. dont have to take final cause she drops the lowest grade.
Darmiento is a great person but has trouble keeping control of the class. Has frequent trouble with technology which makes the class drag on. Grades easy, as long as you can put up with how annoying the class is, you'll do well.
The class is pretty easy, but her teaching style isn't the best...unorganized and doesn't understand computers/technology at all...She is a frustrating teacher, but the class is pretty easy...also, she makes you buy a $100 CD for the class.
She is not a good teacher and she is very agonizing to put up with!!
Do yourself a favor and don't take her, she is very irritating to listen to, and doesn't teach well.
i seriously think she has a speech impediment. most classes are spent surfing youtube. she can't work technology, she stutters, her voice sounds weird. go to class, there's journal entries every day for attendance. it's easy material but the book is a rip-off. online quizzes, multiple choice exams. easy class but NOT WORTH IT, RUN AWAY NOW!!!!!
Darmiento is very agonizing to be around. She may have went to Yale Conservatory, but you wouldn't see it by the way she teaches (or doesn't teach, for that matter). Save yourself the time and KEEP AWAY!!
'Dr. Darmiento is an awesome Professor.' - Yeah, right. She is probably the worst professor at MU. She cannot teach and creates an atmosphere of boredom. Don't take her!
She can't teach and is extremely annoying. Is completely oblivious to the fact that the few people who actually show up to her class are uninterested by her wasting time trying to find youtube pages. She's not a good choice when picking a music class.
Taking her class was the worst mistake of my life!! She is a horrible professor and is very bad with technology and controlling classroom conduct. Many students hate her class and just don't show up unless it's test day. She is very agitating to be around and her voice is annoying, and her looks aren't any better. She really should be FIRED!!!
She is a terrible professor. All we do is sit and watch youtube videos about various composers while not even discussing any real musical topics at all. She also wastes time because she doesn't know how to operate a computer or technology of any kind at all, so class is usually held up for about 10 minutes. Don't take her, it's a waste of time!!
Darmiento is a very bad professor. Her class is usually very boring and is frequently held up due to her lack of technological skills. Many students don't show up, and much of the information that is shown via youtube videos is pointless to the class anyway. BIG WASTE OF TIME, DON'T TAKE!!
Oh my god, worst professor I have ever had. She may know her stuff but SHE CAN NOT TEACH. Also, when I had to play one-on-one for her, she was very rude to me for simply playing one note wrong. The class was painful and slow. Listening to her speak was painful. I would not recommend her ever to anyone, even if I hated them.
Generally easy class, though buying the textbook was a complete waste of my money. Her class feels like a waste of tuition money. Class time is wasted watching her struggle with a computer, and whatever time we do get is used to watch YouTube videos. Avoid this class!
Terrible professor who has no idea how to teach or work computers! She's obviously bad with technology, as if she is from the stone age (she looks like she could've been a PILGRIM!!) Whatever you do, KEEP AWAY FROM HER AT ALL COSTS!
The class is an easy A - that is if you go to class and put up with her agonizing lectures and time-wasting because of her lack of technological skills.
Do not take this professor! The class was for people with No music experience yet she tore me apart everytime I played for her for making little mistakes. She taught nothing but expected you to magically pick it up.
She is very scattered and does not understand how to use technology. We spent at least half of each class waiting while she tried to get the computer or a video or audio clip to work. Very easy grade; she has quizzes on book reading and drops the lowest test grade. She takes a few in-class journals that count as attendance so you should go to class
Don't bother going to class unless there will be a journal. Buy the book & listen to the online selections. Quizzes are easy, tests are if you study. No idea how to use technology; takes herself way too seriously.
Very unorganized. Knows about a lot about music- just has not a clue how to teach it. Lectures are all-over the place. Quizzes online and tests are easy, as long as you study.
She was awful, ugh!!!
Where do I begin. She's a horrible teacher. Darmiento knows what to do with music, she just doesn't know how to teach it. If you know music, the class is easy. If you don't, good luck. She is not clear and is very unorganized. To her, technology is impossible to figure out and she can't seem to understand why students fall asleep in her class.
She has a hard time with technology. She knows a lot about music, but cant teach it to a class. Easy class if you know about music as well, but hard if you don't. Class is basically a nap time session if your lost
Let us put it this way. She talks like the teacher from Jimmy Neutron. If that doesn't help you not pay attention your computer will. She doesn't care that you have it out or what you are doing. (Which is kinda nice). Exams are hard, however she is fairly knowledgeable on music. But not with technology. You sit there til she gets it working.
The worst professor in history. Really try to avoid her. She has no idea what she doing, YouTube is like rocket science for her.
If you have her I suggest scheduling for a different teacher! had her for Music and Culture for my 8AM... ugggh. knows her stuff, but is very scatter-brained and technology challenged. expects you to attend some music recitals, but she drops your lowest exam grade. Would never take another one of her classes!
Dr. Darmiento gets very behind in her lessons as she tries to figure out how to use the computer. This makes the class somewhat boring and hard to comprehend the material.
This class is the most boring thing ever but its easy to do whatever you want while you sit there. She has absoutely no idea how to work a computer, its kind of funny watching her. You actually have to study of you will fail her tests.
She isn't a horrible teacher. It is annoying because a lot of people are just placed in there, so they are disruptive. She is very easily distracted and technologically impaired. If you listen, you'll do well. You don't have to come to class, but she has random journal entries so I would recommend attending.
Horrible professor! Does'nt know how to work with technology and will spend the first half of class trying to get things work. Does'nt know how to control a class and does'nt make anything interesting. She tries to teach a lecture hall like a small classroom. She is always shushing the class and very irritable. I love music and hate this class!!
tests are easy and homework is as well. As for the professor it is like helen keller running a computer she doesnt know what to push or how to use any electronic device.
Loved the class! Very fun. She is very passionate about music. You do have to study to pass her tests, but the material is nothing one can't learn. Professor Darmiento is very funny and a little quirky, and that makes the class more enjoyable. I recommend taking her class.
This lady couldn't use technology if her life depended on it. She says that you don't have to know music to take the class, but she assumes everyone knows certain things that everyone might not know. She drives me nuts.
This professor is extremely disorganized. Most of the classes are spent watching videos or waiting for her to figure out to work her computer. Attendance isn't mandatory, but she has students randomly write journal entries at the end of class for a grade. Homework is easy, but she is unclear on what needs to be done for the class. Avoid this class.
Good professor who knows her stuff. Very approachable and understanding. Is passionate about music. Unfortunately there are some very immature students in the class.
Terribly boring to listen to. Tests are easy if you study. Like others have said, she's terrible with technology. Don't take her if you don't have to.
Not a fan. Not good with technology, and whenever listening exercises were played in class, she talked over them constantly. Repeats everything like a broken record.
Awful professor. She just plays music in class and expects you to teach yourself the material in the textbook outside of class. YouTube is a foreign concept to her as you will spend at least 20 min of class while she tries to figure out her computer or any piece of technology. VERY easy class if you have a music background
dr darmiento is usually ripped on for not knowing how to use technology..this is true but it's sometimes funny. She is passionate about what she does and is helpful when you have a question. She is pretty busy, though, so do not count on her getting things done in a timely manner. very nice person, easy class.
Everyone bags on Dr. Darmiento because she isn't good with technology but if you looked past that aspect of her she is so knowledgeable about music. And it is hard to connect with students when my Music and Culture class had about 150 kids in it. She knows her stuff just not technology, get over it.
Only took her class because it had the Diversity requirement, which didn't make any sense. You would think after 3/4 years or so that she would have technology figured out, still has no idea how to work the SMART board. Her lectures are very disorganized and she spends a long time on the concepts she teaches, so don't worry if you miss it at first.
This woman has no idea what she's doing. We waste so much class time doing busy work, its ridiculous. If you have even the slightest musical background at all don't waste your time with this class. Don't bother trying to ask her questions because she won't know the answer or get frazzled and just won't answer you. Avoid this professor at all costs.
We barely made it through half the syllabus. Her grading system made no sense. She is not good with technology and that interfered a lot. She spent a lot of class time complaining about the room, and blaming its set-up for her inability to keep us engaged. She did not convey information clearly, including what she wanted us to be doing in class.
If you don't have a slight music background, then not sure if this is the class for you. All assignments are online and most of them are listening activities. Overall, its a pretty easy class.
This class was an easy A. Pretty much just show up and do the handouts and you'll be fine. The tests aren't too hard if you pay attention. Learning how to play the recorder is a must for this class.
I would say that she is funny not in the way of like humor, but just in the sense of it being funny, in my opinion to watch her try to figure out the tech things while in class or even have another student help her get things set up...
Overall she is a nice women. Although ,I struggled throughout the course. She was unorganized and disoriented. Almost every class we sat and listened to music, that is if the she was even able to get the computer to work.
This class is fun. You learn to play the piano by taking it, but she wasn't a great prof at times. She's nice but she definitely could get to know her students better. She told me I never went to class during my solo when I was there everyday and then said no you missed a lot when I proceeded to say otherwise. Got A- instead of A because of it.
The textbook is online and she posts homework assignments on the textbook. I would recommend buying the textbook because the homework assignments are 25 points of your grade. She does take attendance but the class is not that hard just got to know your music history, two exams are online and the other two exams are listening exmas in class.
We listened to music every class and that was it. When it came time for the tests, there were barely any notes given out and unless you had a music background, you had to work hard for a passing grade.
All we did in this class was listen to music and there were barely any notes. She is also one of the most disorganized people I have ever seen and gets off track easily. The only grades there are is homework and 4 exams
(Also MUSI100) A lot of people hit on her issues with technology, but I get passed that. What I cant get passed is the unprofessionalism in her COMPLETE disorganization in lecture. Even with 10 years of musical experience, I have trouble following. She cant connect with her audience, dodges questions, blames the room/tech for her mistakes, etc.
For Music and Culture all she does is play music and she talks about it. Very boring class if you are not into music. It was an easy class for me because I have a music background. The whole semester we only had one exam. She is very bad with technology as well. She does put up notes on the screen but not long enough to write them so it is useless.
Professor Darmiento is definitely not an engaging professor. I took Popular Music and all she did was put play music and put up Powerpoints. The slides were barely on the screen and she did not give time to copy anything down. She CANNOT USE TECHNOLOGY!! She spent about 15-20 minutes trying to use the computer and she's so disorganized. DO NOT TAKE
I heard a lot of negative things about her but i thought it was fine and i would still take her. BAD MISTAKE. She is definitely not clear on what she wants. She doesnt know what she is doing with her slides and she has no knowledge on how to use technology. She takes forever to email you back. I will never take a class with her again!
Professor Darmiento is so unorganized and doesn't respond back to any emails. Her lectures don't follow any structure either. Avoid her class if you can!
I took this class as a gen-ed and it was a waste of time. I did not learn much, especially with it being online. It was a relatively easy class and I am just glad it's done. Not terrible, but not the best either.
AN absolute gem. She has been one of my favorite professors throughout college, and when class was hectic, she always knew how to calm it down and take control of class in a calm manner. I would 100% recommend this class to any music major or anyone that needs a general ed class.
Okay so, this woman can't use technology to save her life and cancelled classes multiple times because her mic wouldn't work. She doesn't teach and makes you use a $90 textbook website that does all the work for her. She's very quiet and you can't hear her even with a microphone. Worst class I've ever taken.
This professor does NOT know how to use technology. Her lectures are all over the place and seem self explanatory. With most of the content done online during the rest of the week, showing up to her one class a week seems quite pointless and a waste of time considering we already learned all of it. Do not take this
She does not give clear answers on what assignments are about or when they are due, which is not great considering this is a class for those looking to decide a major. Requires a paid subscription to a textbook service she does not know how to use. Luckily, it's an easy class if you are competent and stay on top of things, despite her.
Dr.Darmiento is certainly one of the most interesting professors I have had so far at this University. I had her for Strings I and she was simply...okay. Nothing phenomenal whatsoever, but I did learn the basics of the violin and viola so I suppose she accomplished her job. Bottom line, she gets the job done but is very lackluster as a professor.
This class is like study hall. All the answers of quizzes are on quizlet and super easy. But this girl DOESNT KNOW HOW TO FIX A GRADE. I finished with an A but I know most of my classmates didn't cause she didnt fix the grade. I have emailed over 10 times for her to fix it, talked in person, office hours. Nothing. The absolute worst. never again.
This professor is awful. I took popular music with her and had to buy an online book to take 43 different quizzes. Halfway through the semester she apparently was tired of watching videos all class and decided that students needed to teach a lesson. All she did was play videos all class and then gave us a final on stuff we didn't even cover.
She is extremely unorganized and has technology problems every class. There is no structure to her lessons and they don't really make sense, although you can still get a good grade. She tends to ramble about things that are irrelevant and can sometimes make rude remarks. Although assignments are easy so if you complete them you will be okay.
I cannot emphasize this enough: do not take a class with Darmiento!!! She cannot figure out how to use technology and seems to be talking nonsense in every class. For someone with as much accreditation as she has, she sure seems to not know what she's talking about.
She is a very nice prof, just stay on top of your work.
Give her a heads up before you miss class so that she gives you a make up work.
Her lectures are boring and she seems to forget that we're college students, overexplaining simple things, begging for participation, and assigning us seats. She's terrible with technology even when the difficulties she has are very obvious fixes. She lacks confidence and speaks almost timidly most of the time. Wouldn't recommend.
When teaching students how to teach you would expect the professor to show prime example teaching techniques and skills. WRONG. It has never been more obvious that Darmiento has never truly prepared for any of our classes and treats all of her students as if they were in elementary school. The Tell school needs a new strings teacher ASAP
She does not know how to use technology and is NEVER prepared for classes.
This prof has no idea how to teach. She also makes you pay for an online textbook in which you will have a quiz or two or three due every Sunday, when she could just make D2L quizzes, but she is not very tech savvy. Shes also kind of rude, and hard to listen to.
You should have no issues with this professor if you just come to class and do your work. I will say though, that she is NOT good with technology and most of the time does not come prepared to class. She can also be rude sometimes.
"Sorry folks, bare with me here, let me figure this out." Can barely use a computer, and doesn't always rely on her instruction as she is very jumbled and all over the places. Made the class watch many documentaries on the topics rather than her lecturing us.
Dr. Darmiento is not a good professor. She doesn't know what she is doing half of the time. She makes you pay almost $100 for a textbook just to take quizzes that are easily transferable to D2L. Lectures are long and boring.
I initially thought I was going to love this class as I love music and history, but was very disappointed. The class was overall very boring and her midterm/final are all based on the documentaries played in class. Textbook is required. The one thing I did appreciate about her class is that you can tell how much she loves the content of the class.
Such a bad professor. Is not professional, does not know how to work technology, class is just her reading off powerpoints, always gaslights our class into thinking we are wrong, made the final the day before we took it. Just overall unprofessional and unprepared.
Makes you pay $80 for a website textbook that you only use to do small weekly quizzes. Quizzes and exams do not even come from information that she teaches in class. Classes are all over the place and have no structure. It is hard to follow what she is saying because she is so quiet. This class was a waste of my time and my money.
Very easy class but is so boring. You can totally pass this class without going to lecture because everything is online. She is not good with technology and will cancel class frequently. You just watch music videos the whole time. Do not waste your time taking notes. ALL answers to quizzes and exams can be found online.
The professor is very nice. The class is very mild, however. Covers interesting topics revolving around Popular music. The only downside is that your homework is done in an online textbook (~$69 with discount code), which is required for purchase to get it done. I dislike her playing YouTube videos in class, as it seems like a waste of money.
Darmiento always plays YouTube music videos all class and ends each class with a simple survey asking if you liked the videos or not. She is always messing up with technology and talks all class about absolutely nothing. She has a required concert attendance project you have to go to, but her midterms are open note online.
She has a big group project at the end of the semester and will not help you sort things out with groupmates. Some of my groupmates never showed up to class and I told her how they did not contribute to the work and her answer to me was "did you reach out to them?" Also when she lectures she trails off at the end of her sentences really bad...
The class is mostly centered around watching music videos, which can get repetitive. However, the professor's passion for the subject is evident. To excel, use Unstuck study alongside the required textbook (~$69) - it's a great study aid.
MUSI263 is a very easy class if you know how to use your resources. Most of the lectures consist of her not knowing how to use her own computer, or showing Youtube videos. You have to buy an online textbook to take quizzes, which was around $70. Half of the semester was the students teaching in group presentations instead of her.
Would not recommend this class, it was a waste of time. She doesn't know how to use technology.
She was very nice but her lecture were very confusing. She'd pick up with random topics and they were often not very clear. There were hardly any assignments and the online textbook was very dumb and often wouldn't work. she try to take attendance everyday but struggles. It was an easy class but felt like a waste of time. Awful with technology.
I think people are a little harsh on Dr. Darmiento, but I'm not sure that I'd recommend her. The first half of the class is run perfectly—just show up and listen, then take an online quiz every Sunday. The second half I wasn't as big of a fan of because it's all group based. She is not super tech savvy, but is passionate about the subject.
Class was a waste of time. A good feature, midterm and final are online and asynchronous and the only tests. It is required to attend a Millersville concert and write passage on it. Attendance is graded but not enough to discourage skipping. Homework is turned in through a mandatory online textbook that is not cheap. Tuned out most of the lecture.
Not tech savy. Rarely every homework. Way behind on syllabus "schedule". Says its not a music theory class, but proceeds to constantly bring up music theory. But if you want an easy A and need credits I would recommend the class because of how easy it is.
Avoid taking Music and Culture if you're looking to learn anything. Darmiento is obviously passionate about music but is not good at teaching it. Half of the class is watching YouTube videos and technical difficulties.
People are too harsh on her. She is very kind from my experience. You don't have to go to class too often and can get your work done quickly. I recommend
un. bearable
Music and Culture is very lecture heavy. Most of the classes are either watching a YouTube video or her speaking for a hour. She is passionate about music but you can tell she likes orchestral pieces more than band pieces. She also is not very good with technology so she has trouble with getting the microphone to work with her in the lecture hall.
Dr. Darmiento is a good person, but not a great professor. This course was very drawn out and VERY lecture heavy. Another con of this class is you need to purchase a $50 textbook. However a pro is that its very easy to get an A in this course if you show up and do the work. I would recommend taking this class for a very easy 3 credits.
Do not take music and culture. It was not related to my major at all and I don't know why they put me in this class. I didn't know anything. Class was so boring and the only time it was fun was when we listened to songs people actually know.
I can't complain too much about such an easy class. Each time I attended lecture I had to brace my ears from being blown out by her speakers at full volume. There is an unnecessary 50$ dollar textbook you have to buy though; most of the time she'd just project it on the board and read from it.
Dr. Darmiento rambled a lot and played lots of videos during lectures, but I believe people are a bit harsh towards her. Her exams were online and open-book and the content of her class was quite easy. She was very kind when asked questions and wanted us to succeed in class, but all of our grades were from an online textbook that was quite pricey.
