She is a very nice person but she has taken interesting concepts and made them very boring. She spoon feeds the information to the class. She prints off all her notes and reads from them verbatim in class, all her quizzes are take home, and she give formula sheets for her tests. Most people don't attend the class or walk out during lecture. Boring

I absolutely love Basu and would highly recommend her! She is organized, polite, funny and a fantastic teacher. She wants students to understand the material and makes herself more than available for questions and office hours. This is one of the few classes where you do not have to constantly stress about your grade. She loves teaching. Easy A.

This class is a joke. Final grade is determined by 7 exams and clickers (each worth 12.5% of the final grade). For clickers, you just show up and participate. There is an optional final that replaces EVERY grade lower than it. I stopped going to class after week 1. Aced every exam but had a 10% for clickers so I got a C on the final to replace it.
