Took this course internet based. No lecture. She was extremely helpful with all questions, even going beyond the scope of the lesson if you requested. Math is Math some people dont get it. If thats you sign up, she has lecture courses as well. up to pre-cal I think. Great.

She is very helpful and goes beyond the call to help you. Has a tutoring business on the side and you can go see her in the office after class for free. If you dont get it you will with this lady. Super sweet and caring.

This is a very great professor. When I took her class I was very low, and she worked really well with me. She has the patience of a whirlwind. I recommend this professor for anyone taking whatever math she teaches. She has a great personality. On a scale 1-10, she gets a 9.

Great teacher! She is helpful and if you're not so great in math, she will NOT make you feel stupid in any way. My only complaint is that she has so much information that she MUST get it out immediately. If the class slows her down with too many questions, she gets irritated. Other than that, she's happy to explain something as much as you need it.

Best Math Teacher I have ever had!!!!I would recommend her to any one. She breaks it down to easy to understand steps and cuts out the stuff you don't need. I made a 99.8 final average. This after the last math class I had was 15 years ago.

Ms. Foster is a very sweet lady. I though that I would end up with a C since I screwed up on the final exam. She gave 5 extra credit points and placed a huge curve on our final exam grades. This class is easy. She is really patient and spells things out really clearly. I found it to be kind of boring but not bad. She does seem to dumb things down some. She doesn't write the formal definitions of things. Overall I would recommend her.

I HATE math- put college alg off till my SR YEAR but this lady made it possible. Very thorough; offers detailed pencasts, lots of extra help, and replaces a test with final grade if needed. Super nice, she really wants to help students pass and does not care if math is not your thing. I dreaded this class;w/o Foster it would have been hard to pass.

Take Mrs. Foster, Math always was my weakest subject and passed with a B+. She is very helpful and makes it easy to learn.

She is extremely easy. 4 exams(the last two have take home portions) and the final. The final can be used as a replacement for one of your lowest test grades. She also gives you previous test that she has given to review for the exams. Take for an easy A. without studying hard.

Ms.Foster is the best math professor I have ever had. Math is my weakest subjuect but this teacher was so comprehensible and helpful, I managed to make an "A" in the class. I would recommend that everyone take this professor if you are really interested in learning the material and making a decent grade.

This was a difficult subject for me. Most of the class was self-taught, but Ms. Foster was available whenever I needed her. If you don't do well in Math, an online course will be difficult. Only two tests, but she gave all the tools necessary to do well and the opportunity to finish early. Would definitely take her again.

She was a little disorganized at first, but she hadn't taught the class in years. Over time I saw how great she is. The quizzes are online and you get multiple retakes (highest score counts) and the tests are moderately hard, less so if you actually study. She really takes the time to help her students though. Great instructor.

If math is not your strong point take her. will work with you as long as you put in effort. Very patient would take her again. Recommend her to anybody who struggles with math.

The best math teacher, loved her lessons. I took online class, 2 tests plus Final at the Campus. If you are not strong in math do not take online class, very intensive! I loved the way how she lectures online, smart lady!

Foster is such an easy professor. I took her for Calc 1 and she gives out practice tests which are exactly like the exams except she switches out numbers. Lectures are always posted online. Easy and fair grader. Tests are no surprise. Hardly any homework. Wish she taught Calc 2.

I have always struggled with algebra, and I passed this course with flying colors. If you do the homework and the practice tests, you will definitely pass. She even gives a practice final exam to help make sure that you pass the class. Great instructor.

I suck at math but with Mrs Fosters help I did well. She knows the subject very well. She uploads a practice test before each exam. If you work them, you will pretty much know what the test will look like. The quizzes (over the homework) were taken online with multiple chances. I would highly recommend her if you struggle with math. She's great!

If you're taking this course online, don't buy the book, as you won't use it! Everything is done through MyMathLab, and is beyond simple. Make sure to view the videos and power points, and take the practice tests and finals if you want to do well!! I took this exact class senior year of HS & nearly failed, but this go I passed with an insane grade.

Great setup for her online class. You have to realize that if you take her online, its only hard because its algebra. If you keep up with your work and email her any questions you have, she will explain it to you. Tip: When doing homework on MyMathLab, click "view an example" and it makes for an easy step by step way to learn!

I took her Math1314 CAI class, so it was mainly working on your own but I still came to class. But whenever I needed her she was so helpful, and understanding about when I could finish the class. Super sweet teacher always willing to help. Her lectures are easy if you are following along do your homework and you will pass. The practice test is basically the test so study and ask questions if you have any.

Professor Foster was great! She posts practice tests with step by step answers before every exam (even the final). She gives alot of partial credit on her tests, even if you get the question wrong. Her tests are very straight forward. She posts homework weekly that has to be done online but through blackboard so mymathlab is not required.

Her teaching style is very clear and easy to understand (she doesn't require mymathlab). Puts lectures online so if you miss a day you won't fall behind. Excellent professor. 4 exam plus final. The review exams exactly like the tests, she just change the number. Lots of quizzes but she allow you to get help from tutoring or other people. If you miss the class check her online tutoring on MyPortal so you won't stay behind. She will drop 1 lowest exam and 2 lowest quizzes.

I took the combined class 0362 & 1314 class. It was a M-Thu. So LOTS of homework, about 4 tests, and the 1 final. Pay attention in class, do your homework, study, and you WILL pass. Math is my toughest subject and I made As in both classes. She will work and explain thing multiple times if you need her too. Just ask! I highly recommend her!

I took her during Maymester for MATH1314. She wants you to ask questions, she is really great with helping students and making sure you understand how to do it. Make sure when you take any exam number your paper so she can look over it because she gives you extra credit if you at least tried to work it out but didn't get it right!!

I've dropped out of algebra 5 times and out of college twice because of this class. This teacher is brilliant. She teaches in a way that speaks to my non-math mind. If you listen to her in class, she'll tell you exactly how to be successful in her class. She's a non-math mind whisperer. But do the work and study! Follow her directions! You'll pass.

Took 0362/1314. Youll never get out of class early she works problems on the projector. homework is harder than test (6). Study the reviews because theyre exactly like the test just different numbers. You dont need to buy myMathLab. Gives hw daily. If you hate math you should probably take her because if youre able to show your work she can help

Honestly, one of the best teachers I've ever had. She helped explain things on my own level during her break when she didn't even need to. Spent time with me in the Math lab till i understood how to do it on my own. Very caring and wants to see you succeed. opportunity for extra credit on every test to help your grade. Took online. She opens everything up early so its self paced. Finished MML within the 14 day trial, so didnt have to pay for the HW. Its easy.

I took this class online over the summer and as long as you do the take notes over her lectures, do the homework, and take the tests you are okay. I do not understand why people are saying this class was hard it was literally the same exact topics we learned in high school algebra II. Also I got the access for free because i finished in 14 days.

I struggle a lot with math, and I barely passed. However, it is not the class's fault, just poor studying skills. With that being said, *please study*! Tests are 60% of the grade and (to me) also utilize the textbook! I also HATED Protorio so much. It never worked and added 100x more stress. However, Prof Foster seemed like she really cared!

Took college algebra during the maymester. 4 hours every day on ALEKS, which is actually a good place to learn. You make mistakes and it gives you problems to practice/solutions. It can get very time consuming. Tests really arent that bad. I got a 97 and finished the class in 8 days. A good graphing calculator will help you VERY much.

She is very nice professor and I recommend you to take her. Although you have to do a lot of homework, but most of your questions will be answered in class, of course you will get extra credits for the homework.

Professor Foster is amazing. Here is what you need to know. There is homework, it is optional, but if you do turn it in, it will give you 5 extra points to your exam grade. She does hand grade exams, SO if you have it halfway correct, you will receive some credit for your problem. There is a bonus question on exams, can earn another 5 points.

Professor Foster is a kind, understanding and generous professor. I was planning to take my following math course from her but she isn't teaching it during Fall. Attendance isn't necessary, I went the first month but quickly realized the lectures went against my learning style and it wasn't helping me so I stopped going. Schoolwork is through ALEKS

Professor Foster is super helpful and understanding. While the course can be challenging, she makes the material digestible. Using unstuckstudy alongside the textbook and attending office hours really helped me succeed.

Algebra can be difficult for most. I always tell people to take her course. She sets it up for you to succeed. I finished with a very high A. There is quite a bit of homework, just do what you covered in class before the next class. There are 3 units. 3 HW grades based on completion, and 3 exams. The HW directly helps you with the exams.

Overall decent professor if you stay up to date with homework and test reviews. homework is a completion grade, but there is a lot of it! tests are graded 1 point for correct answer, 3 points for work shown. i disregarded homework and it got me the grade i deserved. just put in effort and you will do great.
