Dr.Atteya is an excellent professor and he teaches very well. If the course happens to be a little difficult, there is also extra credit offered if you're not good in chemistry.

Chemistry was not my subject until I met this professor, The material is a bit difficult but if you ask questions, read and do your lab reports you will be successful. He is a very helpful professor and will help(tutor) if you need it. Professors do not get ant better that Dr. Atteya.

Gives pretty much everything that is needed to know for tests(pre-lab) MAKE USE OF THEM dont be lazy!! Honestly, I have never taken Dr. Atteya before. But I have been in contact with him on a few occasions for help in chem 1212 when I took it a couple of years ago. He is a very nice and approachable man. He is willing to help you to suceed in your chemistry courses if thats what your heart desires. You can't go wrong with this guy. Take him!

His lecture class is nice. But his quizes is very, very hard. some of the students were failing the quizes. I failed his class, I would advise you to take someone else PLEASE!

Im not gonna lie...I wouldn't go to his class most of the time because it was too early in the morn. His tests are hard but has lots of xtra credit and grades on the curve. HE IS A SWEETY!

Hmm he is a very sweet guy. You just have to be sure to do all of his work. The accent may get you at times, but if you do what you should do then you will pass.

This is a great teacher because even though its in the classroom, he gives all assignments and quizzes online !! meaning you can do them open book at home. also he gives a whole lot WHOLE LOT of extra credit, so theres no reason you can't pass !!!!!

CHEM 1151 Lab- I enjoyed the class and the professor, if anyone paid attention in class they could make an easy A. If there were any questions, professor Atteya made sure you understood everything or the individual could see him doing office hours or simply email him. I wish he taught biology I would defiantly take his class again.

Too much info for 1 semester, but Dr. Atteya does a great job with what he has to work with. He is very organized, uses class time wisely, explains the material well, and is EXTREMELY kind and respectful. Tests and quizzes are online, and there's plenty of extra credit. Only the final is in-class. I absolutely recommend him for this tough class!

He is hot and really good,Dr Atteya is the hottest man on GPC Planer. when you leave his class you are ready to go.He teaches very well and prepared you for the regional test, because he will give you essay question for you to improved your written skill for the regional test. He is the man take him.

If I only have my way I would prefer this men stay in teaching field, because he is excellent and expermant helpful to all his students. He care about his students making good grade and even help them made good grade. When ever you call on him he is there to help you in problem solving. He never turn his back on any one or leave you hanging.

Dr. A is the best Chem prefessor out there. He puts everything online so you can review all the material. He does not try to overwhelm you and clarifies. He does a class review for mid-term and final, so take him if you need to pass Chem. I got an A and I have never been good in math, but he made it easy for me.

Dr Atteya is the bomb. I hated chemistry. I had never taken chemistry in H.S. so I thought it was very hard. After taking his class it was very doable. Thanks now taking 1212. His gives more than enough extra credit, I wish I had him for my lab this semester.

The best professor in GPC for chemistry and you will enjoy his teaching both in class and online. He is wonderful and help all his students. Ask him any time he will answer your question. The last person who left a comment was angry due to the final exam scenario which was not Dr. Atteya's fault. We were given half of the time promised due to the dean and the test procters. The class was very challenging. I was only able to complete half of the 600 OWL assignments. I still received an A! Do your best and I'm sure you will be ok ;)!

Took him online for chemistry 1612. I am extremely bad at chemistry and he made taking it online extremely easy. Answered emails and the work wasn't hard as long as you stayed on top of it. Highly recommended

I took Dr. Atteya for 1511 and taking him now for 1211, online. He is the best of the best. one of does professors who is out there to help us not to get us. You have to study but there are also extra credits and if you need help he will do everything to help you. He is brilliant in chemistry and I hope to take him for 1212.

Class is okay lots of extra credit and reasonable exams. This is Introductory Chemistry that study molecules and it has nothing to do with a REAL Organic Chemistry I and II !! This is the lowest elementary level chem. studying the basic molecules where among other there are some organic molecules not organic chemistry !!

Professor Atteya is the man! Take his online class if you get a chance. He posts alot of supplemental material to help students. Quizzes and exams make up the majority of your grade. Some of these answers are on google ;) He also gives extra credit. Nice guy. Took him for Chem 1 & 2 and did well in both. Glad I came across him during my education.

First of all, he is a very funny guy. He also understands that students have lives outside of school. He is available to go over material with you during office hours . I took him online and in person and he was communicative throughout. His extra credit for writing chapter summaries is genius because you will know the material. Highly recommend.

Dr Atteya was a wonderful instructor! he is very clear on what he wants. all exams are online except the final. be prepared for 3 major group presentations. He responses back to messages fast. he's also very funny. Definitely made chemistry a lot more interesting

Let me start by saying TAKE HIS CLASS! It was a very easy A. Many extra credit opportunities and has online tests and quizzes (my personal favorite). I had such a hard time with chemistry until I toke his class. I recommend him to all my fellow easy A seekers.

I took Dr. Atteya for Chem 1151 and I got an A. I am extremely happy to be able to take his class again for Chem 1152. The test are all online and in class quizzes. He also give extra credit. Very good teacher and funny guy.

Nice professor but lectures are extremely heavy. When you come to class expect heavy lecture with thick accent. His notes are confusing so you have to take notes in a way that you would understand. Dr. Atteya really cares about the success of his students. He gives lots of extra credit. He is easy to contact outside of class. If you have an issue or need guidance, he will make arrangements to meet with the students to help them with any areas of weakness. He has many worksheets, PowerPoints and other things on icollege that help with tests.

If you don't have a chemistry foundation, I don't recommend taking a summer course in this subject. Online classes have little to do with how good the teacher is and require you to take the initiative to learn. All I can say is that this professor's FINAL exam is hard, but he will offer extra credit.

I took his online for my Summer class. The lecture is heavy and a lot of homework. However, he gives extra credit if you really read the lecture and do summary for each chapter. His tests and quiz are open book. Only final exam is closed book.

Loved this prof, only problem I had was his accent, but it is easy to understand. He got confused and told me that the due date for everything was the ninth, but turned out to be the 4th. rlly nice tho

Professor Atteya was a great choice for Chem Lab. His labs, quizzes, and tests are very straight forward & he gives a bunch of extra credit opps for students. He is not a tough grader & is very approachable. Some reviews mentioned his accent being an issue but it didn't bother me at all. Super Reasonable! I'd definitely recommend him to anyone!

if you hate chemistry, this class is for you, he makes you love it and gives good grades. he listens to your problems and makes accommodations for you, just communicate with him and he is the sweetest soul out there. if I could take him for the rest of my chem classes, I WOULD! This professor has a specific style, but engaging with it pays off. Use unstuck ai, the textbook, and attend study sessions to do well. Expect a challenging final exam, but the extra credit helps.

Attending the lab is required if wanting a grade for that day. Other than that fun and enjoyable class, no textbook was required. Just review the lab the day before and you'll be set.
