Easy class. He's really nice. Gave out printed notes for each chapter. Reviewed before every test. All you had to do was follow along and highlight what would be on the test from the notes. I got an A. Highly recommend him.

He was my lab teacher and he was so nice! He was so helpful and although he was hard to understand sometimes when it came to the test he always let you know what was going to be on it. We had a quiz every other week a difficult midterm and an easy final. He was so sweet and intelligent. I would definitely take another class with him.

He was very knowledgable and funny. He is not that hard if you study the handouts. Just one research paper.

Easy A drops lowest grade one paper everything on the notes he tells you to highlite is on the test.

Really great professor. He is very nice and helpful with materials. Has an Indian accent..but if that doesn't bother you than it's fine. Tests come from notes he gives. He tell you to hightlight certain things and that's what comes on the test. Very good teacher...

Professor Anwar does a very good job involving the entire class in discussions. He always adds relevant topics from current events to make the class more interesting. Excellent class and very enjoyable environment that is conducive to learning.

Of all my instructors he took the most interest in students.. When I had problems he helped me by suggesting study techniques and actually trying to help the students with problems. We all bombed a test and he went over it with us and had us retake it. Wants us to succeed.

I took him for Biology Lab.He is the best comical teacher;he makes your learning experience fun! He give two quizzes and two practicals. Come to class everyday, because if you don't it is very hard or you to make up a lab. I showed up to class everyday lol! Study your lab book for your practicals and you will succeed. :-)

This is a great prof. I really enjoyed the way he teaches, it makes me want to learn more. I'd recomend him to anyone. He is a fair teacher all the way. Just make sure to highlight everything he tells you to, because it will be on the test/quiz.

Use his notes that he has online and sometimes he prints them out for the class. He's kind of hard tounderstand but he gives a good review before the test its just the amount of stuff to study is a little overwhelming but doable and he gives easy extra credit assighnments for the test and if u can cram with what he gave you, you can pass.

Anwar is a great professor overall. If you have difficulty in any aspect of the class he will go over it to make sure that you understand it and do well.

Great Teacher. Professor Anwar is such a knowledgeable person. Traveled all over. He really knows his stuff. Funny guy, lectures are not boring. Indian Accent, but you can understand him. Great for Dual Enrollment! Loved this Class!

He is a great teacher who outlines the parts of the book you need to study right before the test which narrows down a lot of the information.

He is hard to understand at first, but you will get used to him. Most people get low grades on the first couple of quizzes but then you will get the hang of his style- he reads out loud all of the exact things from the book that will be on the test! If you need help, go to him after class and he will tell you what to know for the test! He is good!

I highly recommend professor Anwar. Took him summer A for Lab and lecture, he really does want to help you understand. The book is used a majority of the time and he gives extra credit. Study and you should pass with a decent grade "B" or A. You really should study, he gives Great reviews of the tests.

ok lets get it straight.. i did BSC1010L with him.. he gives a quiz after every lab and will expect u to read the lab before class.. his mid term and final is not difficult. you work in groups. so you have help. he wants you to ask questions. some did complain that his class was difficult,, but if you study you'll be ok. 20 pts for attendance. gl

Class requires a LOT of reading. Chapters r long; many students complained they didn't do well due to his accent; but they studied 1-2 days prior to test .Instead of taking responsibility for their actions, they blamed instructor. His class was interesting. I take my classes seriously, so I prepare myself well for tests. My rating for him is A ++

He was one of my favorite professors at this college. He even stayed after class with me when I was having difficulty with the subject.

Can anyone tell me how hard his lab tests are? Does he provides a review before every test?

This professor is hilarious. I earned a B in his lab because i was being lazy this summer but he does give you 20 points extra credit towards your final grade. Only if you a good student and always present. I just hate the fact that he refers to you as people if he doesn't know your name. Beside that he helps you out with the quiz and everything.

He is hands down, one of the kindest, most caring professors I have ever met at PBSC. He does everything in the best interest of his student.Does he have an accent? Yes, but his accent does not interfere with how he conveys the course material. There are many professor who fail students because they don't like the student. What u get, is his best.

I loved my lab with him. If you know what you're doing and study the lab book, you will do perfectly fine! He's very funny and will help you if you need anything.

There are quizzes (10 questions) every week on previous Ch. Midterm and final require knowing labs. Holds students accountable for their own grades and will help when needed but expects you to study and know the labs. His sense of humor is dry but he is pretty funny. Marks off your lab Ch before you can leave class. DO NOT MISS CLASS YOU'LL BE LOST

Professor Anwar was pretty easy, in my opinion. We had ten question quizzes every class but if you paid attention to the previous lab, he gives a lot of hints to what will be on it. I'd say the toughest part of his class was the midterm for me because it was on NOTHING I had studied. Most likely my fault though. I still passed his class with an A.

Dr. Anwar was one of the best biology professors I had! He was very knowledgeable and structured when it came to the labs. As long as you pay attention and take notes the lab was an easy A.

I enjoyed learning biology in Professor Anwar class. He is very sincere and knowledgeable, you must do your part in order to pass the class and not rely on his lectures .if you do that you will be fine.

Dr. Anwar is a very knowledgeable professor, u have to pull ur weight & study if u want an A grade. Pay attention he give u hints & some answers of what u will need to learn for his weekly quizzes. He drops a quiz & creates an extra quiz to raise ur grade. Has a very nice personality & sense of humor & is always willing to help. Would take again.

Dr. Anwar is honestly one of the best professors at pbsc. He gives one quiz at the beginning of each class, a mid-term, and a final. The quizzes are easy if you pay attention to hints and actually study the book! He is always willing to help you and has patience. As long as you show up and pay attention you will pass! Also, he is hilarious!

If your're looking for an easy A do not take this class. Dr. Mahmood makes you work for your A. You take a 10pt quiz every class and if you read the textbook and study it, you will pass. He's very friendly and knowledgeable. There are only 3 test, and sometimes he gives extra credit. His powerpoints are long, and can get boring. Read and you pass.

The lab is easy. Specimens are put out for you to draw or take pictures of and you must remember what they are (scientific classification speaking). There is a quiz every class testing you about the specimens from the last lab so don't be late. An assignment is given every class and is easy. Two test (Midterm/Final) They are hard if you don't study

Dr. Anwar is an interesting person and I would take his class again ASAP. He's straightforward, the lectures are clearcut, he gives you all the notes printed out, and you just have to study for the 10 question quiz each week. 3 exams total. You'll need to read the textbook. Lots of really funny discussions and stories will happen in his class.

Dr. Anwar's lab is easy when you listen to what he says. The lab book from the school is not written well, and he guides you through the labs himself, so that you actually learn the material. The labs are fun and as always Dr. Anwar is hilarious.

Took him for bio lab I & II! He is so caring & nice. He has been in our shoes & he knows the route to passing. You MUST study, its all memorization. Put your time into every lab. Whether your looking at specimens/ dissecting, you have to take your time learning it in class. Take advantage of the lab. Dont be loud & dont talk back to him. :)

Professor Anwar is a good teacher, despite his accent he sends you notes so you can follow along with his PowerPoints. 10 question quiz on what you learned the previous class period. Study guides for the 50 questions 3 exams as well. His notes and quiz questions do pop up on the exam word for word sometimes. We had two easy extra credits as well.

Hes an AWESOME professor. He is hard, but he tries his best to help you and pass the class. He gives lots of hints, you just need to really focus and youll be fine. Im not sure why he has this low rating. hes great. TAKE him!

It was a bumpy start with professor Anwar but our class ended up all working together and succeeding. He worked with the whole class and helped us figure out what ways we will learn the material best. Biology was actually easy with him and there was no lab needed. Perfect science credit if you are a non science major. His accent can be tough.

The semester started off kind of rocky , but once you learn what hes expecting youll be fine! Quizzes before every class whatever he tells you to mark in your book or do in the assignment is what will come up on the quiz. Know the specimen name , be able to identify it and the phylum. Take pictures of all the specimens he shows during the lab.
