BEST TEACHER FOR STATISTICS. THREE EXAMS ALL FROM THE HW AND THE EXAMPLES HE GIVES @CLASS. IF YOUR SATISFIED WITH UR AVG FROM THE FIRST 3 EXAMS U CAN DROP THE FINAL. VERY HELPFUL & FUNNY. ITS A FUN CLASS.

He explains things very well. Do your homework because the material can be tough. He tries to make it easier. Attend class some test problems come from examples he gives out during class and other from the homework problems. Was a very great teacher!

Arguably the best math prof around! Willing to help students and is easily approachable. Do your HW and attend class because he does use examples from class to put in his tests. Wish I had known about him a long time ago

Mr. Basharat is great. He is helpful and is willing to work with the students. Do all of the practice problems and you will ace his tests.

He is the ultimate math teacher!! He's extremely understanding and pin points exactly what you need to focus on and how it will apply in everyday life...I took Math 1306 twice (and failed) before taking him and I totally understood him waaay better than any other professor!

What a great Professor. I took in the summer and he made sure you learned the material. If he noticed you had a puzzled look, he would go over it until you get it. He made sure we enjoyed and understood College Algebra.

Good summer course. Very interested in students progress. Will not go on until everyone understands material. Must do homework problems - exam questions come straight from them.

Mr.Basharat is the instructor you need to take if you want to make an A. He would do anything so his students can understand and pass the class. Just one thing don't miss any classes and you'll get an A.

Good Instructor. Explains well, but the test seem to go over much harder problems than what he covers in the class. He gives lots of homework. Not a good idea to miss any classes or homework....he will remember!

This class was so easy...you don't have to show up everyday--but it does help. Had to do a PowerPoint presentation, an Excel program, and a HTML (Web page). He helped out alot with each project if you had any ?'s--but you have to do the homework--test ?'s come from it.

Mr. Basharat was a very good instructor. very helpful and really wants his students to succeed. Gives a lot of homework, but if you do the work and attend class you will do well. Basharat goes out of his way to help those who need it. I got an A. Great teacher!!!

NICE GUY, HILARIOUS, TOOK HIM FOR SUMMER I AND MADE A B. ONE HOMEWORK AND SOME BONUS MATERIAL. HIS REVIEWS ARE NOT RELATED TO THE TESTS AT ALL, THE TEST QUESTIONS ARE EXTREMELY DIFFICULT AND IF YOU DON'T REMEMBER ALGEBRA DON'T TAKE HIM. LETS YOU USE OPEN NOTES AND BOOK ON TEST BUT PEOPLE STILL GOT BAD GRADES WITH THE CURVE.

I took him summ1. It was very fast pace considering its 4.5 weeks. Tests are difficult but he curves everyone. Strongly agree to practice homework on my math lab. That will help out a lot!! Even if you're failing the class, don't give up. He will work with you and helping your grade at the end.Good Teacher

Great professor for any Math class. I took him for all my 4 math classes. He takes the extra mile to help you make the good grade. Very nice and student friendly.

DO THE MATH LAB! That will help as well as get you some extra points. I took in Summer I ('08) and made an A. He's funny. All tests were open book and notes (just ask) and multiple choice. He does do a slight curve but the amount of points isn't the same for everyone. Doesn't require participation but I'd recommend it.

Wonderful teacher, very helpful. I know that I wasn't a good in math and he made it easy.

I had Mr. B for both finite and calculus simultaneously. He is the best math teacher out there! Gives you every chance to do well, open book & take home tests plus tons of extra credit and curves. He also is always available for extra help and tries his best to help you understand the material. If you try, you will do well with him!

Great sense of humor! Teaching skills are good but you have to PAY ATTENTION AND INTERACT in class. ASK QUESTIONS if you don't understand. Homework on mymathlab is very helpful (will bump you up a letter grade if you complete all homework). Tests are hard so study for a couple days and you'll do fine.

Excellent professor! He stays on the topic till you understand it. Also be sure to do the mathlab assignments he gives, because he adds 10 points on every exam for keeping up the assignments on mymathlab. Take him !!

Loved him! Test are pretty hard but if you study you will make an "A". Do the mymath lab and he will give you extra credit.

Great teacher! He takes his time to explain the lessons. If someone doesn't understand it he takes his time and explains. He does give homework but it's manageable. Class isn't boring time passes by flying!

AMAZING professor! He is funny and covers only important information. Make sure you use his test review because some the questions are taken directly from the review. He is VERY good at his job!!!

I highly recommend this professor, because he will give you idividual attention. Professor Basharat will not allow you to fail if you attend his class.

Test are hard. You MUST study for them, but Basharat is very helpful. Allows u to attend another class if you need more explaination,and he will even helpn u with a tutoring session...All you have to do is ask! he does have lots of hmwk but its all due @ the end of the semester...VERY recommended!!!

Mr. B does whatever takes to help his students understand the material. Must take him if you have difficulty with understanding the algebra.

I'm debating whether or not to retake him next semester since I got a D in the course. His exams are decent and take home quizzes EXTREMELY Hard. He lets you use notecards for exams but good luck with that. MyMathLab helps understand Calculus but it's useless for his exams. He's a good teacher just be prepared for difficult testing.

Mr. Bash is a great professor; He goes out of his way to help you if you ask. If you study and do all the assignments on MyMathLab you will definitely end up with an A or a B.

Study, participate in class, do your homework. Gives good examples, allows notes during exam, and use of calculator. Beware of difficult take home tests on my math lab. Good teacher, can be sarcastic not recommended for the easily offended. Would definitely recommend taking his class and I would take STATS with him if he taught it. Very good prof

The best professor!!! Does an excellent job at teaching and is very clear. Make sure you pay attention in class and do the homework and you will have no problem getting an A :)
