You can tell that he loves his job because he is an excellent instructor, amazingly knowledgeable, and will keep you entertained throughout the semester!

Dr. Khalili is real funny! He's got great stories to tell and wants everybody to do well. Word to the wise: Don't even think about trying to cheat or take an easy way out in his class. There's no fooling him! He makes this clear very early on! He's great!

Awesome Teacher and Very Easy. You don't need a book in his class. Just memorize the study guides from the blackboard. His exams are exact same questions and exact same answer choices.

He's a very great professor ever I have had. Midterm and Final are based on study guides from blackboard, he's very generous, if have any problems, he would be more than happy to help you! Its up to you to take this class with him!

His class requires memorization rather than learning the materials.I DON'T recommend anyone taking his class in summer because there is ALOT of work to memorize.He needs to have more sympathy and empathy towards students.This is a ONLY a GEN.Ed course.

He repeats the word BASICALLY two hundred times per class... You'll get a B just by memorizing the study guides. If you read the book you'll get an A.

Dr. Khalili is a great guy, funny, helpful, and very sincere. His lectures are very boring, but take it with a friend so you can have fun. The exams are very very very easy. you don't need the book.

This class was so easy. You don't need to buy a book. Just print out the questions from the blackboard and study it from there. Just read a questions and correct answers.

I never once opned tho book for class and got an A in the class. AS long as you print out the slides he uses to lecture in class and the practice tests you are good to go. just memorize hte questions and answeres offf the practice tests. 98% of the questions on the midterm and final (the only two test u will tkae) are word for wrod from the practice tests.

ZzZzZzZ....That basically sums up the entire semester.U don't need the book or even go to class b/c everything is on blackboard and he gives extra credit for attendence!Its a Great class if u want a break, if u wanna learn i wouldn't recommend it.O ,Don't buy the clicker. He gets an A in my book cuz he's kinda a hot tamale for an old guy!

Easy A! Don't need to buy the book- save yourself the money. He's a nice guy and tells some good stories to explain his scientific points. If you are a non-science major and want to maintain your gpa it's a must take.

Attendance isn't mandatory, but if you miss a pop quiz, it can't be made up. It's true -- you don't need the book. Just print off his power points and take notes from there. Memorize the study guides he gives (know it all by heart). That's the tests. Super nice guy...tough accent at times, but you get used to it. I would definitely recommend him.

This is seriously the easiest class i have ever taken. There are two tests the whole semester. There is also an essay and assesment that is 10% of the grade. He gives attendence as extra credit. All the answers are on the blackboard study guide. Thats pretty much all you need to study.I would highly recommend this class.

Great professor, great human being. I highly recommend him. Unlike some, he's actually concerned about teaching you a thing or two and does not stress you with ridiculous assignments or stringent grading.Highly recommend.

Super nice and funny, has some funny stories. You get used to the accent DON'T WASTE $ ON THE BOOK! puts EVERYTHING you need on blackboard, all the powerpoints he uses in lecture and study guides. You DO still need to come to class though as he takes attendance and gives video quizzes (EASY).... Def recommend this class for an easy science credit.

Easy class, he is a very passionate professor with interesting stories as well. He is excited about what he's teaching and it's contagious. Very smart man. Fun class. Just do the study guides no book necessary.

random video quizes nearly every week that you cant make up & makes you pay attention to the video to pass. regular tests direct from study guid midterm & final HARD to memorize everything. randomly takes attendence at the END of class. happy guy.

Dr. Khalili is a wonderful professor. You have to go to class, even if his slides are online as he takes attendance at least once a day. He's interesting and his personal stories are funny. I would recommend him.

This is the person you want to introduce you to physics! He is passionate about physics and teaching and wants his students to learn! The class and lecture is easy and he gives plenty of extra credit but the theoretical is not so easy! I am certain students He is one of the best and knowlegabe professor in physics department!!

Easy teacher, your quizes are note taking and the study guides for the test is exactly the test. Just show up to class and you'll be fine. I got a B because I missed three weeks in a row.

very easy teacher a little hard to understand at first but u will get used to it the tests are straight off the studyguides as long as u are good at memorizing you will get an easy A. one 4 page paper due at the end of the semester very easy also extra credit paper in case u fall behind. wonderful class exellent professor. highly reccomended.funny!

Attendance is mandatory. the PPT presentations that he gives are vague and not very helpful. In reality, he supplements the material that you need to learn from the book and study guides. memorize the study guides and you'll pass, but you won't learn anything unless you read the book. Tests are multiple choice. No hmwk. One term paper.wouldrecomend

Took 8am summer physics class, thought it was going to suck. Khalili ended up being really cool and I'm really happy I took his class - there's no way to fail if you go, everything is from study guides and you should NOT buy the textbook!

I'm currently have him and so far my experience has been mostly positive. He's a very nice and funny guy. HOWEVER, he has a VERY strong accent and speaks really fast so it can be difficult to understand what he says at times. Like others have said, he posts all study guides online, there's no homework, and buying the book is unnecessary.

Easy class but extremely BORING. He has very strong accent have a hard time understanding. Exam are just like his study guides. About 10 quizes which is watching a short movie and writing 10 facts about it. Only take this class to meet gen eds easy A. Textbook not needed.

Prepared me well for OAT and Optometry school. He makes things simple. Was worried it wouldn't help in the long run because he simplifies things so well. But he did a great job preparing me for optometry school. Sometimes he talks fast but you can ask him to slow down. He is a good professor and is excited about the subject and students.

He does have a strong accent, but he is so funny and sweet. Take him! Tests = the study guides… word for word. You do not need the book, he gives you the answers to the study guides and posts the slides online. Google whatever you need further understanding of.

If you need a Gen. ed take HIM! He is funny and informative but don't let that fool you-he is strict. No cell phones, texting or coming in late because he will toss you from the class! He also busted those who came in late that tried studying in the hall and coming in late. Uses his Powerpoints and take notes, I had the book but don't bother

Prof. Khalili is genuine and down to earth. He's there to help but can go off topic in lecture (like almost all the time).Very friendly and his quizzes are easy (theyre either 10 facts quizzes on videos or study guide questions) the exams are easy too if you study.

I really liked Dr. Khalili. He was a great professor who always had enthusiasm for his subject. He also made us feel like we were smart and capable of learning the subject, even though most of us weren't into it. Honestly, I would take him again if I had to. He's a very fair grader and a really outgoing person. To me, that's a good professor!

Show up to class and take all the video quizzes and use the study guides to prep for the tests and you should get an A. He also gives extra credit opportunity like taking a trip tithe Planetarium and writing a small paper. He always goes off topic however it doesn't really matter because the tests revolve around the study guides. No Cellphones!

Dr. Khalili was a great professor when teaching Physics II. His lectures were easy to follow and entertaining. While there was a lot of homework, it helped tremendously when taking the exams! He genuinely cares for the success of his students.

He is a great professor, though he is lecture heavy, I think that he did the course right, I learned a lot just from being in this course. I took heavy notes on a google doc given this course being lecture heavy. I know not everyone is going to want a lecture-heavy course, but if you want a course that you learn a lot about astronomy, then sign up.

Very nice professor, helps if you have questions, exams may be difficult but part of physics. If you do your work, you'll at least get a B in this class. You don't have to do well on exams.

Good professor very nice, yes the exams are difficult but this is college physics 2, it was kind of expected, all you have to do to study is follow the lecture and hw, and you'll be fine for the exams, and his HW and labs are simple, as long as you do ur hw u are guaranteed a B.
