MAN SHE IS THE EASIEST CHEM TEACHER YOU CAN EVER HAVE. THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN FAIL HER CLASS. i cant beleive the other comments on this page. she is a very helpful teacher. might not be crystal clear always but does her best to explain you after the class. her exams are extrmely easy and by the end of the semester she always replaces two of the lowest test grades! how much easier can it get? plus she gives you a lot of oppurtunity for extra

I loved her class, she really simplified EVERYTHING!! Gave multiple attempts to raise grade even counted the final twice to replace lowest exam. Very helpful & willing to re explain problems & stay after class or lab if needed! I wish she taught chem2!

She is so easy. She gave a lot of opportunities to get extra credits. You have to study for her class because there are many memorization. If you are lazy, don't take her class.

She's good. Before I enrolled in her class, I read the comments on this site. I was so worried but I still had to take hers because there was no choice. But it turned out Great. She's very helpful. She gave extra credits. People who gave her poor comments might be lazy ones so they could not pass her tests. Study seriously then you will be fine.

I dont know what most of the people here are complaining about. Chemistry is hard. She tries as best as she can to help her students make a good grade. It is not an easy A you have to STUDY. She also offers Tutorials and is VERY helpful. Take her if you really want to learn

Chemistry is a difficult subject & everyone that is complaining just didn't put in the extra effort to pass the class. The professor did everything she could to help students understand & worked out extra problems during lecture to review for exams. She is VERY helpful & she does have a slight accent but is not at all difficult to understand.

She was always clear and concise. The class is difficult period, however she explains the material well and knows her stuff! Her class grades are based only on labs and test. Curves grades and replaces lowest exam grade. Does many examples! Chemistry is difficult but she made it easy to succeed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

She is not an easy professor, ask for help and she will help you. You have to study, sometimes she makes mistakes but who doesn't... everything on the test is given prior, no surprises. SHE CURVES VERY WELL, you always have a chance, just work hard. She works with you

Mrs. Iranpour did an excellent job explaining hard chemistry concepts for the newbie. She welcomed class participation and that made the class worthwhile; she even had great eye contact when she directed the class. Her story as a college student and her desire to help the class has encouraged me to take CHEM II in the near future. Kudos to her :O)

Professor Iranpour is a great teacher. Chem 1411 is a hard subject and requires hard work and practice. She is a perfect instructor for this course. She is ready to help, and work with students. If you are ready to work hard and study, do take her. She is so good.

I was having difficulty passing chemistry until I met her. She is concise and clear! It's not an easy class to pass but she made it possible for me. I wouldn't recommend any other chem teacher. I suggest you take her and then take a biology class back to back.

If you do the practice exams she has posted online and do the online home work and attend class every time and take decent notes you will be fine. 3 exams plus a final and the final will replace your lowest exam grade. I made an A in the class. If you ask questions, she will answer and explain to you. I am taking her again for chem 2.

I took Professor Iranpour for both Chem 1411 and 1412. I found her classes extremely helpful. She teaches in a very organized manner, I barely cracked open my textbooks. The homework online could get kind of long, but the homework really helped to cut down on my studying time. If you do her practice exams from the learning web, her exams are easy.

She is very helpful and knowledgeable. As long as you are willing to put in the work and study the material you should do well.

Professor Iranpour is an amazing instructor who really listens to her students during class. However, she teaches extremely fast. She only provides one example and gets through a single chapter within a day. She is a fairly easy grader and gives you partial credit on tests when deserved. Side note, if you need help she DOES take the time to help!

The subject chemistry is difficult in any class, study enough and practice enough and you can pass with an A, the tests are based on everything that she lectures so there will be no surprises

I love this professor. If you attend class this is an easy A. She explains incredibly well. I love her lectures and wish she could be my professor for every chemistry course i have to take my whole undergrad. She is extremely caring and will help you as much as she can. I really respect her and she deserves all the praise in the world!!

Decent professor, understands material pretty well, however, she gives out pop quizzes and grades all or nothing on those quizzes. pretty difficult compared to other professors but is nice and sweet if you get to know her and get on her good side

Good Professor. I wish I could've taken her for CHEM1412, but she only had 8 a.m class. Which I was not willing to do. She was great. Lectures were solid. Labs were solid.

She is one of the best professors for chem at Stafford campus. Watch out for pop up quizzes. They constitute 9% of your grade.

Try taking notes of what she's teaching, it DEFINITELY helps. DO THE HOMEWORK over and over and over until you get it and refer back to your notes. She's a spot on prof, I've tried taking other prof for chem 2 but NONE teaches like her. She WILL help if you ask. She's pretty amazing!

Professor Iranpour is an excellent teacher for those who don't want to be coddled. If you expect hand holding throughout the course, do not take her. She is knowledgeable enough to answer your questions, gives enough info in her lectures to help you pass the tests, but the rest is up to you as it should be.

Overall, she is a good professor, but students have to attend all lectures. There is too much homework, and students have to be good in math. Furthermore, she responses to emails soon. The negative thing with her was that she became a little rude from being strict. Students will learn chemistry with her, but they have to work hard for their grade

If you just wish to do nothing and get good grades, DO NOT take her. She's excellent in explaining things and she replies to emails really quickly like in 30 min. Be sure to take good notes and actually a textbook is not required. Do the examples and review tests. You will be noticed when to get a pop quiz. All classes need you to work on it:)

For someone, this class was hard, but for me, this was easy. She replies email really fast. Her 3 tests + 1 final are simple and basic. If you do her practice quizzes, you'll be fine on the tests. Her final exam has many questions from previous quizzes and tests.

Don't be scared to take this professor if you have to. If you take it serious and don't neglect the class you'll make a B at least. This class was a 5week summer online . Required Respondus lockdown Browser but without the webcam. I'm not sure what the nature of this class would've been if it were in person. I made an A, but I had a lot of help!

I've taken chem 1311 and 1412 with her, and she's amazing. She makes you learn, tells you exactly what to expect from exams, and is always available to answer questions. Don't miss any of her lectures, they are practice oriented, so you'll also need to read. Do what she says and you'll be fine.

I have her for Lab and am taking her next semester for Lecture and Lab. I read the other reviews and she does use lock down but all that is normal. The lab is lab grade and quizzes which are not hard if you are paying attention and working for your grade. If I have questions she answers them with clear explanation and is really helpful.

Great professor that is willing to help you and pushes you to ask questions if you do not understand. She gives hw and quizzes every week which may seem like a lot but if you manage your time you should be good. Exam reviews are a MUST, as they are similar to the exams.

Mrs.Iranpour is a good teacher, her class is mainly based on her lectures and the labs. For the labs you can ask her for feedback and as long as you put the effort in you will be successful. When it comes to the lectures make sure you pay attention otherwise you wont do well on the tests. Put the effort in and you can make an A. Gives extra credit.

Lockdown browser with webcam for all quizzes so if you're not comfortable with that don't take her. Homework is open note. Also requires textbook (~$50). Your lowest exam grade gets replaced with your final exam grade. All exams require your own scantron. She offers gap finder which is really helpful.

I had Dr. Iranpour for the CHEM 1311 summer 5 week session while also taking CHEM 1111 and MATH 2415. It is possible! She is excellent at teaching and publishes helpful notes and reviews on Canvas. I did have to study for at least a few hours between class days. She claims that a textbook is necessary to supplement the lecture but I never used it.

I took Chem 1 with Mrs. Iranpour, and she is a great teacher. If you pay attention, study, and practice, you will pass. The course is semi-fast-paced, but it's not that bad. You HAVE to study if you want to pass. Use Pearson+ to your advantage with the practice problems available to you. If you have questions, she will explain it until you get it.

She's a good professor but she will make you work for a good grade. Took her for both Chem 1and2. She may seem strict at first but she's very good at explaining the concepts and answering questions. If you pay attention in class, ask questions, and do the hw, you'll pass. Shes probably the best chem prof at hcc. Tests are similar to the review.

Took her class during a 4-week session and she explained everything super simple and easy, she's very kind and takes her time to make sure we understand the concepts. If your final answer is not correct in the show work part, you'll get max 2 points. But you can visit her during her office hours if you have any queston,she's very good at explaining

She is the best professor I have ever had in terms of actually TEACHING. She does NOT just read from a powerpoint, expect you to just read the textboook, etc. She provides many examples both with her and individual. Her teaching methods make you retain information extremely well. She is the BEST professor if you care about actually learning.

The professor expects a lot from us at the beginning. Be sure to study hard for this class to get an A. There will be lots of homework and quizzes along with 3 exams and 1 final exam. She cares about you but this class needs your attention and commitment. She will give extra credit for the exam, so make sure you attend class frequently.

This was a lab chemistry class so she didn't teach much, but shes open to answering questions. Not many grades, but if you turn your lab reports in time you should be alright.

Dr. Iranpour is a tough but fair professor. The class is fast-paced, so staying on top of the material is crucial. Use unstuck study and the free textbook to supplement lectures and ace the exams.

Do not understand the low ratings at all. She is the best professor I have ever had. She is one of few professors that actually teaches the material well, and all the homeworks and assignments actually teach you the content and is relevant to the exams. She is always accessible and will work with you and provides great feedback.

AMAZING teacher! Because of other circumstances our chem 2 summer class had to be in a 4 week period. Class was a lot of info and fast paced but she taught extremely well and ensured all content was covered. Never had to study as long as you followed along in lecture + with homeworks. This professor was great. She knows her chemistry and teaches it extremely well. She also is patient with questions and everything. Exams are almost exactly like the reviews and homework. If you watch the Organic Chemistry Tutor on youtube and study, you cant get below an A.

She is sweet, knowledgeable, and will answer any question that you have as long as she's allowed give an answer. Be careful to turn everything on time and stuff because she is on the stricter side when it comes to classwork. Other than that, she is an amazing professor and I couldn't recommend her more even if it is an fast-paced class.

I took this professor in the spring and I was the only person in the class to receive an A. The class adheres to the syllabus, and the class expectations are made clear the first day. No extra credit, rounding, or make-up exams at all. She teaches very well, and her lectures are helpful; you just have to put in a little effort for Chem! Good luck!!

Best Chem prof. She gives u resources to succeed, the methods that people have used to do well in the class, etc. Just don't distract her or others during class, and you're guaranteed to be on her good side. The material the course covers is hard but u can ace it with some little effort. 10/10 teacher, 10/10 class

Prof. is experienced in the field and excellent lecturer. She will emphasize the harder portion of chem 2 (math) while integrating the theory part of the course. Just be sure to spend some time practicing problems while also reminding the theory in her notes. Don't interrupt her while she teaching or she will be really, really pissed at u.

She teaches the materials very well but is fast-paced. If you participate in class, take notes, and actually study, you will receive a good grade. She does not give extra credits or curve.
