She stood by me and made sure that justice was served. I couldn't ask for a better mentor and educator. She's inspired me and always challenged to make me better every day! She's always there for me when I'm down and always checking up on me!
She helped me a lot. Explained where I needed to improve
A bit mean and intimidating but way smart and qualified in the topics.
Mailee Kue tore my soul apart and embarrassed me in front of everybody in the classroom for asking a question about what she meant about something. I wasn't rude. I wasn't being a class clown. I was trying to be the best student I could be with my learning disability and she just treated me like I was stupid and it hurt and made me cry.
She's a great mentor. I enjoyed working with her and look forward to a lifelong friendship! She was there for me when I didn't believe in myself and had no confidence that I'd do okay in school and in life.
She's alright.
She nice and attrative. She help student. She fun be around and listen her speak. My grade B. I missed class sometime. I had assignment late two time. She gave extension one. She nice.
Yo haven't heard this lady's name in a minute! She helped me at URI when she was at the Multicultural Student place and now I'm souped that she's here so I get to see her and work with her again someday! If it wasn't for her I woulda dropped out of college as an undergrad but now I'm at grad school here and I'm legit souped she's here too!
She's just so great! I think it helps that she's a mom and a wife and a career woman. She shows other women how they don't have to be stuck any role just because of old beliefs. Very motivational lady! Because of her I have the opportunity to study human resources at this nice private school! I know she's proud of me!
challenges you but you'll get what you put in tbh
I flunked her class back in the day because of my own life problems and had to drop out for a few years but she'sa gem! I loved her teaching method and how she made things easier to understand. I wish she would've stayed at the other Uni. Would've loved to get her guidance about her career area and grad school but she's doing a different job now.
Had her in about 12 or 13 years ago. These classes are hard to keep up with but Mailee lays out the rules and assignments and gives helpful tips so it wasn't as bad as it could've been. If you have classes with her keep up on the reading, lectures, and papers. You'll write and read your butt off but that's part of college life
I know you're thinking 'She's just a mentor' but I can't help but to say nice things about her based on my personal experiences with her. She's pretty open minded about lots of things. She's super intelligent and hilarious and has a teaching style that's laid back and relatable. Her standards are high and she'll push you but it's for your own good!
She's dope af! She cares about students and wants good for them! She has a way of making lectures fun! The second day of class she told us her story about how she was sick and died and how demons tried to get her and the classroom tension eased up. Being a night class it wasn't easy coming to school at that time but she made it great!
Loved the class but didn't like her teaching style
Was a learning experience for me so I got no regrets even though I failed this class.
very knowledgeable
I loved the class and her teaching strategies. I thought respected me, so I don't understand why she sent the angry email to me years after taking her class. It wasn't clear what I did wrong or why she was upset, but I'll just say it seems she flipped. I still would take the class again. I have no regrets. I got an A and she made us work for it!
I thought the class was fantastic and she taught it so well. I assumed she thought I was a good student because of my hard work and A in the class. I received an email from her just recently, even though it's been a long time since taking the class, criticizing me for things she thinks I did wrong and doesn't respond when I ask for clarification
All was OK until the China trip. I didn't have any other choice to boost my CV so I had to go with it but if you get a choice avoid her at all costs. This woman isn't even an econ or finance expert herself. Her majors were psych and bio and mostly has a psych background.
I recommend learning about inclusion and diversity from her and going to her to learn about the things on campus available to you as a student and your rights as a student. I don't recommend going on the China trip with her because she's overbearing and kind of judgmental but she means well.
I enjoyed the class and her lesson plans and teaching, but her mentoring style was not for me. She thinks she can read students and she sometimes assumes the worst of them and their motives. She means well, but fails in this area. She does not know this, but her constant assumptions and accusations broke me beyond repair. I still suffer from this.
Positive things about Mailee are that she's passionate about multiculturalism and inclusion. She wants to help students for her benefit. But I don't recommend going on the China trip with her because she's too much and gets involved in your business and puts her 2 cents in when not asked for advice. She thinks she's helping so I love her for that
I liked her class but am confused about why she doesn't like me. It would've been nice to know exactly why she sent me an angry email today.
I liked her advocacy and role in teaching inclusivity, but I feel she doesn't know that she sometimes hurts our feelings as students and uses tones that make us feel like we're nothing and like we are stupid. I really loved and respected her, but she constantly rode me until I quit.
She doesn't mentor with love and understanding. She doesn't prepare us for the real world outside of school. I love her and don't wish bad on her but she hurts sometimes and I can't count how many times I cried because she hurt my feelings whether or not she knew she hurt me.
Was asked by email to rate her so I will. I took her class at UoRhode Island but it was online and wasn't the right format for me. Class was interesting and she was a good teacher and was there most of the time when I had questions. The class was work heavy , reading heavy and discussion heavy but I pulled off a C in spite of the online format!
I like professor kue. She help me and was good teacher. I was confuse and she explain me to helped me learn. I got A in class. Class was fun but little late night and was tired. I didn't know we can rated professors but I got message asking rate her. I wish I did know before because she nice person deserve good rate.
they wanted me to rate her now after 8 years or so so I'll gladly do it! she's sweet, wants students to do great, grades fairly, gives good tips for success for online classes and literally tells students what they'll be tested on so they're prepared more! the class takes a lot of reading and writing though. if she's still there take a class w/her.
I'll be more than happy to rate her! My story is I didn't believe in myself and lacked confidence but Mailee mentored me three years ago and changed my life and outlook. She challenged me but always showed love. She's truly a hero to all students and I owe so much of my accomplishments to her and she's the reason I am where I am now! I love her!
She sent an email asking me to rate her. I didn't think she'd remember me. She's smart and tries hard but she makes class too hard for undergrads. She'd be better teaching grad level. If you're nerdy and studious it might be for you but don't take the class if you don't like loads of work and reading.
She's always there for students and will push you to be your best self and doesn't let you miss out on opportunities and teaches what student things are available on campus. Sometimes she thinks she has us pegged but gets it wrong and doesn't read us well. I do sometimes think she forgot what it's like to he a uni student but she is a great person!
She's amazing! She didn't let me slack or be lazy and really motivated me to push through challenges and get out of my comfort zone. I don't have a bad thing to say about her! I'm more skilled and wise than I was before working with her. She's got years of mentoring experience and works with students of all walks of life
I'm surprised she remembered me. She sent email asking me to rate her and I'm honored to. She was one of my favorite teachers. I took a psychology with her online in the spring or summer (can't remember exactly when, it was about 13 years ago). There's a lot of homework which is hard but she gave good advice on the syllabus and I took it and got A.
With respect, I love Mailee and wish no harm on her BUT ... I trusted her to guide me. I trusted her to be understanding about how I make mistakes because I'm still learning. I trusted her not to blab my private business to others. I trusted her to be honest and upfront with me. I trusted her to be there for me. She violated that trust many times!
I misunderstood her at first but when I got to understand where she was coming and started to know her, I started to like and appreciate her and what she was trying to do. She doesn't always communicate that great but she cares for Bryant students. * Correction: She's not faculty at Bryant
Bestest assist. director ever! She's always there for me and understands my battles and walks me through solutions.
Great woman! She cares about student success and making a fair environment for students.
Come to Bryant and meet great people like Mailee! 10/10 legit recommend working with her!
Cool person. She's helpful and made me feel comfortable talking about my bad experiences on campus with some YT cis man faculty
Go to her for advice. She knows everything. She even knew the color of my boxers and they weren't visible to the public! How did she know?
Great go-to person at the intercultural center for guidance and education about the student minority experience. Mailee is very positive and uplifting.
Felt disrespected by her and other staff there. It's not my fault I'm chocolate and from the hood. At first introduction you'd think Mailee was knowledgeable about under privileged communities but it seems she does more preaching and doesn't apply what she preaches. She's an actress making a HUGE salary not an activist.
I wish she would be my mommy. She's so inspiring and cares about student success. I'm 1st generation immigrant who didn't come from educated family. I was scared and didn't know where to start but Mailee helped me a lot and gave good advice. Bryant is a good school. I'm on scholarship but still have lots of expense but it'll pay off soon.
She gave good tips about how to deal with the harassment I experienced at Bryant on campus. I didn't know how to deal with it at first and kept it bottled up inside me but now things are better. I'm still traumatized but at least I feel a little bit better that things were dealt with properly. Mailee is warm and thoughtful and a good listener
A pleasure to work with!
Look up to her a lot. Very sweet and inspirational woman who cares about students, especially those of us who don't come from complete backgrounds and those of us with fewer resources. Bryant is a great community from my experience. Transfered here and don't regret it.
great director !
Good to come to for advice. Good listener. Inspirational. Motivating. Understanding. Kind. Driven. Smart. Funny. Informative. Experienced. Easygoing. For student growth and student rights.
Her standards and expectations are high but for a good reason. She helped me get where I am today. Best. Role model. Ever. Stop by the ICC and learn from her and other amazing staff and students there. They got a lot to offer and so does Bryant University as a whole. Good luck and drive on!
Wicked helpful!
Didn't have a class with her but I learned much of what I know about DEI and sexual trauma awareness from her. She and other staff are the keys to a better, brighter, inclusive future. Always honor people like her. Being woke isn't a bad thing it's a necessary thing.
She help me 4 year before to use to university and give to me directions. But didn't understand everything she says to me but nice girl. Hmunpa yell me at campus and hitted me and touch privates areas and she help me know to write report was good but he beat me and police man comes now better.
I got a nice position starting at 75K/year because of her advice! Thanks Mailee! If you're reading this holla at me!
Not being paid to write this review and to rate her. She's mad dope! She's chill af and I hope we can one day smoke a bowl together and talk about the dope memories at Bryant and URI and Green Jeans Laundromat! Aiight I'm out!
She's not my prof but she's a woman I look up to and an important figure in DEI and awareness. I'm learning so much from her. I can't wait to see her this upcoming semester again! It's a privilege being under her wing and being encouraged to learn more! Love you, Mailee!
she need to work on not talking and looking down on us niccas from the hood. she didn't say anything but it's in her face expression and body language. I'm finna report her if she don't change her way. But she got 1 more chance. she wouldn't like anybody doing her hmong people dirty like that. we want the same respect
She's the most caring staff you'll ever meet at any academic facility. I didn't have any confidence and didn't know what direction I was headed for. She played a key role in helping me make that decision and having more confidence in myself. Because of her, I know what I want and who I am. I'm on the right path and couldn't be happier! Class of '19
Not my professor but she's knowledgeable in her profession and I volunteered under her. Not the easiest to talk to but her advice is good. I felt like she thought I was stupid or something and that didn't make me feel comfortable but it was still an overall good experience I would do again.
Would I like to rate 'professor' Kue? I don't think I can do that, but I can rate ASS. DIRECTOR Kue. She's motivated and inspirational and deserves heaps of awards! She is one of the most dedicated when it comes to students and all causes. I don't recall her being a professor but I know her through ICC and had the privilege of learning from her!
High achiever and valuable member of the Bryant community! Look forward to working with her again soon! Wish I could give her trillions of stars, not just five! Happy they encourage us to rate staff and faculty from Bryant here! Bryant is the best school I ever attended for learning business and social studies!
She was laid back, smart, cool, and willing to help me! and I love when she talked about her cute dog Otto! It made me feel connected with her. I miss her so much and I miss Bryant! I kinda wish I never graduated.
It looks like she was nice to everybody else. Maybe she was only mean to me but I didn't like how she treated me when I volunteered for her and Kevin Martins who treated me much better. I really tried hard but I was never good enough to her. Her style of correcting me made me cry in private sometimes. I can't get that 2 weeks back and I'm broken.
She's not a professor she's staff so RMP needs to fix that. But she's very good at what she does and gave me great tips to use for my own success and for my students.
She's the best if you like being insulted and dealing with her bursts of microagressions. You can't say anything because her coworkers and execs at Bryant are fooled by her fake liberal act and you're bad if you say anything. I gotta give it to her. She's smart and knows how to make a great salary and plays their game so well. She's a mastermind.
Good advocate of students and hardworking. She earned her salary. And don't forget to stop by Green Jeans Laundromat and give her a shout out for building a business. Bryant has the greatest people ever and I wouldn't change a thing!
I enjoyed working with Mailee. She goes above and beyond and cares about students.
praise be to Allah. mailee was chosen by Allah to guide me and challenge me. mailee helped me learn and set high standards for myself. thank you Allah
She and I have a lot in common which is why I think we hit it off from the very beginning. She's honest, caring and hard working and just what Bryant University needs. She helped me a lot in dealing with the sexism I faced. Mailee knows the proper channels as a title IX officer with loads of experience. I'm stronger today because of her and owe her
Helped me learn about becoming a more effective student and leader. Great woman!
She's a sweetheart and loves students very much! She gave me the confidence I needed when I was just a freshman staring out in my adult life and being scared of the unknown! I'm so glad Rate My Professors invited me to rate her. I almost forgot I had an account. Mailee deserves the best ratings because she's the best advocate and mentor.
Went to China with her and had fun. She's nice girl and helpful. I'm nervous person but she make me feel better. I like being with her because she's sweetheart.
Learned much from her. I didn't know the stats of students facing discrimination, se*ual harassment and se*ual assault. It's scary but good info to know. And it taught me how to watch my own actions to not be mistaken as being a predator.
I admire her as a Title IX VP and as a business owner. I'm inspired by her everyday and am motivated to excel in my academics and future career thanks to her and of course Jesus
Cool woman. Not my professor but very cool. I learn from her often and hope she learns from me too.
I liked Mailee. I felt she cared about me and my struggles on and off campus.
She made me sad and scared
She's one of the most dedicated people I ever met at Bryant.
She taught me how to be a great mentor. I gleaned from her mentorship and advice and now I'm almost as good as her in the mentorship of today's students at Bryant. Thanks Mailee for your guidance and patience.
Great woman to consult with about DEI, harassment and other misconduct at Bryant.
She wasn't my professor or teacher but she's a wonderful addition to Bryant University's goals on improving its academic environment. There's always been room for improvement here but it's good to know Mailee and others are reshaping the environment for students especially. She's been on their side since day one and the progress speaks for itself.
I cried and cried until I had no more tears left in me.
She's down to earth, reliable, sensitive and has good ideas. I think she's the best T-IX VP Bryant will ever have. We're super lucky having her on our team!! I'm glad RMP asked me to rate because she's super great!
We're so much alike and have the same learning styles so we get along great. The only difference is she expects more from students, faculty and staff than me. She's open to criticism. I love that about her. We teach each other and help each other grow into better leaders on and off campus.
I THANK SWEET BLACK BABY JESUS FOR HER AND SEND HER MY BLESSINGS AND PRAYERS. THIS WOMAN IS A GODDESS AND A POSITIVE ROLE MODEL I LOOK UP TO. I NEVER HAD HER AS A CLASSROOM TEACHER BUT I'VE INTERACTED WITH HER AND LEARNED SO MUCH. GOD BLESS! +
Helped me get through difficult times at Bryant. I think she got me and that's why we had a connection from the minute we met. We vibe 150%. She's like really smart and has her own business and stuff and is at an age where she is wiser than most of us 20 somethings just beginning life.
my favorite thing about her is how she's making so much money and living her best life and doesn't have to worry about being on these streets while I'm a nobody just scraping by to make ends meet. I hope I made her happy by dropping out of university after dealing with games at 'cultural and diversity" places that are anything but what they ad
Mailee has much knowledge and experience and it's good just to sit back and listen to what she has to say about helping our students at one of the best universities on the east coast. Mailee puts 900% into what she does.
Volunteered and had a wonderful and fulfilling experience with her. She's the most understanding person I met in my life ever.
RMP wanted me to rate her. I'm honored to. She's the most comforting person I ever met at a university. I have really bad anxiety and she walked me through everything and reassured me I'd be fine. She gave me more confidence to soar and compete in a tough climate around peers. I pulled all As last semester. I'm forever grateful to her! 10/10
Finnair be emo now but she's like the mama I never had but needed all along. With God's grace this mama saved me. She's a hero that doesn't wear a cape. I love this mama so much I wish I lived with her.
Good to see a fellow Asian in such an impactful position at a uni
she chill af dawg
Mailee is so smart and so passionate about looking out for students who are victims of a YT system. Hmoob lub zog!
China with her was fun
I'll hook her up when I start my business after I graduate god willing. She might not know it but she's the reason I'm where I'm at. She was the most positive person I met at Bryant. I didn't get good vibes from most people there but she's 1 in a million! I feel like I knew her all my life and feel comfortable with her.
the thing I love about Mailee Kue is how she taught me to be more careful before trusting just anybody to be my mentor. I was a freshman and didn't know better but as a junior now I've learned much more and matured
met her like once and she was cool why you have me rate her tho
A pleasure to work with and a great team player
She know I discriminated so she help me talk to right staff of Bryant. Mailee help me know school resource and right for students live in campus. Mailee is nice. And she helpful to me.
Great ally
knows her stuff and is a good professional to have in the Bryant community but needs to work on not trying to prove she's not racist by being artificially polite to us black bras. it too much
HMoob woman power! Great to see her succeed!
Mailee dope af bruh
Mailee Kue has been a good role model for me and others around her. I loved being around her and learning. I thought this was only for tenured professors so I didn't know we could rate other professionals here so sorry this is coming a little later and is long overdue.
You asked me to rate her and I don't mind because she's valuable to the university and works hard to make a better academic environment and world for students. I love her dearly and hope she knows how loved she is on campus. She's the most uplifting pro I met in a post sec ed environment. Cheers!
A good safe person to talk to about issues on campus
I'll be happy to give her a rating. I'm not there anymore. But I enjoyed my time with Mailee there. She's wicked sweet and has a good personality. She wasn't my prof but she taught me a lot and even helped link me up with the right faculty, staff and student organizations there. She's a good person to listen to and has years of experience
Good to see my HMoob people in charge for once. Get it get it girl! The only way to go from where you are from hard work is up up and up!
she's always right
Dopest woman I met at PwC. Haven't heard from her in a minute but I'm finna check if she's at green jeans to see if she'll do a bowl with me so we can chill out and reflect at old times at Bryant. I think she's crushin on me too and I'd hit that if she wanted me to
An influential and inspiring woman who comes to work ready to take on the tasks at hand.
Thanks for inviting me to rate her. I'm giving her 5 stars because I think she cares greatly about students on campus but she has too much of a liberal bias and isn't always open to other sides of arguments that show logic and facts. Not everyone is a diehard Tr**p fan for explaining why some points are wrong, Mailee
I love her
A bit outdated but a pleasure to learn from and work with
she changed my life in a positive way and there's no way I could ever pay her back for everything she's done for me. Mailee went above and beyond and ran circles for me and others on campus and she keeps fighting for us. She knows what it's like being the underdog herself so that's part of why she's good at this
HMOOB power! Go Mailee! You're light is so bright it burns (in a good way)
Always comes in ready to work and save the world
get her done girl! you got this!
congrats
my life is over but I'm happy she will live on and keep fighting the good fight because I won't be able to anymore
A fine woman who cares about everybody
Gave me the right path to travel on. Was always willing to give tips. Taught me about resolving tensions. Told me about campus resources. Was supportive of me and my goals. Made herself available to me. Listened to me good. Good role model. Passionate about student success.
she need to stop over compensating when speaking to me and my people. she ra**ist but don't realize it but she good in other ways like helping students get services and support on campus
good leader
too busy setting up a photo shoot for us than to tackle real issues in the A*ian community like our parents pushing us too much academically, society expecting us all to be little geniuses, the world thinking we are diseased and should be avoided or the world assuming we are servants who owe the world our submission. But the photo shoot though!
great team leader
Mailee is a passionate professor who brings a lot of energy to the class, though her teaching style may feel a bit outdated at times. The workload is heavy, but engaging with the material and using study aids like unstuckstudy can help manage it. Overall, an inspiring class with a driven instructor.
