i thought he was a great! he explained things that made no sense to me before. i was actually able to pass the class!!! he went over everything. i'd definately take another class with him.

Math was never my strong suit but I am telling you this professor was absolutely amazing to provide me with the help and tutoring and throughout my constant battle he made me feel as though I've accomplished so much. I feel that he has a great understanding for people and tries to clarify the best way he knows how, although it is sometimes hard to understand him, and if your lucky enough to get him in a class just listen to how many times he asks you "Is it Clear?" =)

Very, very nice man. Knows his stuff but is sometimes very difficult to follow. You must be on the ball in this course, most definitely. I'd recommend him though, he keeps you on your toes!

He is a good teacher but not giving at all. He cuts you absolutely no breaks. I worked my rear off and was 15 points shy of an A and of course he gave me a B. He bends not a drop. I would never take a class with him again. I want to quit the class but I refuse to quit. He helps not one bit. Uncompassionate.

He's very easy to understand and if you want the additional help, he will help you. He doesn't usually give you any extra time for your tests, that's the only bad I can say concering him. He is a very good teacher.

I took his business calc. class right before transfering to OSU. I used to bother him during the office hours, and he was always super helpful. Excellent teacher and very nice person. Take his classes!

One of the best math teachers ever!He is more than willing to help students and wants to see his students to well in class. I've had him for 0950, 0960,1200 and have learned so much from his classes. He is fair with his students.

This teacher is great but this book sucks. Eighty percent of why it was hard was because this book doesn't explain problems very well. The remaining twenty percent is because you should be comfortable with calculus. Algebra 2 is the prereq but I feel more is actually needed. I burned my book when I was done with it.

Tough class if you don't keep up with your homework. 5 point Quizzes are given every day to make sure you know what you're doing, but 2 of the points are just for showing up. He also lets you drop your lowest test. Really nice guy, and very knowledgeable. If you are looking to learn, not just get by, take his class.

I enjoyed him a lot he takes his time and is willing to answer questions the problem is with people in his class is they don't wan the help so all the bad reports about him are wrong.... I took two math classes with him and got an A in both he's easy and very understanding I would take him any day an night...

He is a very good teacher. Will help you to understand the material and you know every step of the way how you are doing with the online mathxl. I had him for two semesters because I loved the way he taught. Not harsh at all.

Probably funniest professor to ever teach at Tri-c. He does teach a bit fast, but if you aren't retarded you could pass this class easily. Seriously though if you are considering him for math definitely get in his class. He gives extra credit and is simply the man. I'm taking his 960 class and couldn't be easier.

hes an ok teacher, i mean hes funny and very nice and likes to talk to people but the only thing i didnt like was that 68% of the grade for his classes is test scores the rest is half homework and quizes.---every other day....he does not give much homework but it is oneline and you can retake it as many times as u want.. his tests are easy as well

I thought he was great!. Test are not too bad. Homework is all online. He follows the course outline. Problems are all from the book. He does like quizzes, though...ugh!! He wants to force you to study. He is hard to understand sometimes, but overall does a great job!!

I thought he was a good teacher. One thing that was annoying was that he wanted to use every second of class time and you very rarely get out of class early, but on the other hand if you stayed and actually did the problems with him it really helps you learn the material faster. LOTS OF QUIZZES!

Personally the best math teacher I've ever had. Only downside, he does like to give ALOT of quizzes. Very helpful, thoroughly explains and reviews topics.

Had him for math class 4 years ago. Very fair. It's college and he's not there to pass everyone. Do the work.

great teacher. He teaches step by step so you can fully understand it. He does in class sample problems and goes around to help and make sure everyone is doing it right. very helpful and understandable but he's foreign but i could understand him.

Great teacher. Very fair. He gives a lot of quizzes but they are not difficult and he drops a cetain # of them. This actually helps your chances at a better grade. Some of these people who are commenting negatively are probably not very motivated and are just trying to make themselves feel better.

He gives a lot of quizzes but drops a number of them and also drops the lowest test grade. I did not have a hard time understanding him and he puts all the notes online. I'm terrible at math and I found that I got by better in his class than with some of the other math professors I've had.

Took Beg algebra(0960)in summer of 2011 very accelerated. He is a very pleasant and helpful teacher. He gave a lot of quizzes that were all timed but he increased the the amount of time so that help. The test were easier since we had all the quizzes in between. He drops lowest test. I would recommend this teacher. His class requires a lot of work.

Gives review on the class prior to the test. Not the clearest at explaining math, but extremely helpful. He will help you before and after class. You just need to ask for the help. Very nice person too.

you need to do math XL but he is worth it i took him 2 times he is vary helpful

5 tests, 15 quizzes, drops lowest test score & 5 of the lowest quiz scores. Must do math xl with at least 100% to keep your grade up if you are not that great in Math. I passed my last class with an A, came to this class & have struggled all semester, assigns homework in book & only gives 1% towards your grade for all of it. He is all over the map

Great instructor, not enough time allowed for class, but this is not his fault. He would make time to help the students as I visited with him outside of class a lot. Would definitely recommend.

This teacher is great. He passed out homework instead of assigning it from the book. It was multiple choice. I ended up with a 97%. I'm really glad I got this guy.

I did not due well in math in High school. I think he is a great teacher. He goes over material until you understand it.

I had Abou-Diab in 0960 & got an A in his class (I have always sucked at math). He takes his time and moves forward as the class understands the material. In Math 1200, I started with a different professor & transferred out of my way to a completely different campus to take his class again. I would reccomend him.

Overall great teacher!! He wants his students to succeed. I would have taken him again for 1200 if my work schedule would have allowed it. Definitely recommend.

The first time Ive ever gotten more than a C in a math class. Made the class easy to understand. His tests and quizzes come from homework and problems worked out on the board. Knows how his students learn and will adapt his teaching to help you. Saw we did better by working problems on the board so thats what he did for the rest of the term.

he was a pretty good teacher. took the class before and got a D, so I took it again with him and received a B. very helpful and good with explaining things on the board. it was a slower pace class IMO, which I liked. overall good teacher.

His class was by the book. If you took notes and did the homework it was very easy. His tests were questions that were repeated multiple times over homework and quizzes. Often I knew the answer just by reading the question.

This is of course a math so it was confusing! He tries hard to make sure everyone understands the material before moving on. Offers extra free time, if needed. I would another class if he was the teacher.

Malek Abou-Diab is an excellent professor, and I would recommend him. He explains things clearly and goes into detail on the subjects covered. His tests are fairly easy if you look over the study guide he gives you can get a good grade with no problem. I chose to take more then one math with him and honestly wish he taught the further ones I need.

Malek was probably the best teacher I've ever had. This is a man who truly cares about his students and will go the extra mile to see them succeed. I believe i had Malek 7 years ago, but still to this day i remember just how great he was. A true example of what a great teacher is. #CLONEMALEK

Professor Abou-Diab is a really great teacher he explains things clearly and as long as you pay attention during his lectures you'll pass. Take-home quizzes roughly 8 pages has similar problems to the notes (sometimes identical), pop quizzes are easy, tests are comprehensive but similar to take-homes. A lot of multiple choice/plenty of practice!

Professor Abou-Diab was my professor in Math 0950, in Fall 2017 semester. He was probably one of the best math professors I have had. I am a student who is terrible in math, and he showed me so much. Even when I had surgery, and probably should have failed the course, he made sure I had my work so I could do it while I recovered. Amazing prof!

I am awful at math! I had to take all the "prep" classes to actually take the 1000 level classes that counted. I think he was a great professor and outlines his classes in the syllabus and goes right by it. So you shouldn't be lost, caught off guard, or unprepared. Many practice packets, and drops lowest grades. Easy A even for me!!!

I really enjoyed his class. He is super helpful when it comes to not understanding. He is fast but will slow down to explain something that wasnt clearly understood. He hands out tons of notes and practice quizzes that are helpful. He isnt a hard grader. He will try to give you credit anywhere he can. I felt prepared in his class. Studying!
