Pretty easy class if you understand real life and real people. Read all slides before midterm and final, try to read book too. If you do this, you'll be fine. Mali is a very nice lady, but beware: she has a fairly strong accent, but it is still easy enough to understand.

An amazing professor. She is exceptional, in that she really cares for her students. She likes to have students actively involved in class, by participating in class discussions and so forth. Awful prof!! Nice enough woman but I have no idea why she is teaching this class as she is a physician. She is so unclear and vague and rambles on and on in class and at the end of class you realize you just learnt absolutely nothing. She is so frustrating because she has no idea how to effectively teach a concept/idea. Super easy class though.

Both bad and good. She will drain any interest you might have had about human resources out of you. Class is dry, she doesn't have good enough english skills to teach, powerpoint presentations are incomprehensible, and tests are poorly written. She's hard to contact, and her assignments are vague. That being said, super easy class and marker.

Mali makes OBHR unnecessarily complicated. She is the master of adding assignments that are not in the syllabus. She does not outline learning objectives clearly and then deducts marks. She was behind delivering content, yet she expects extremely detailed work that she doesn't end up properly grading. Her concept of productivity is totally wrong.

Prof Mansouri was alright. The weekly discussions were redundant and tedious toward the middle of the semester but not difficult. The individual project was confusing but it was graded pretty fairly and the group projects were slightly overwhelming, especially the feedback session since there were no guidelines. Not too bad but wouldn't reccomend.

It seems like Mali's goal is to make the lives of students unnecessarily difficult. The level of detail she expects feels like it is impossible to meet, no matter how hard you try. She sets random deadlines mid class and never clarifies. The syllabus has 4 due dates, but there is actually 40. One of the worst profs ever

I think we dont need to have a course on ethical leadership. My dissatisfaction has nothing to do with the teacher. Mali is a sweet lady, super nice and helpful. I'm genuniely conflicted when rating Mali. The quizzes are unreasonably hard despite being open book. The discussion posts are easy marks but she give little notice and no time to complete them. She's not a tough marker but you got to put the effort in. Overall, she is okay, if there are other options, choose them, but if not don't unenroll

Avoid if you can, the course load for MGST 453 by all other professors is significantly less than it was with Mali. There is also a group presentation and a paper due which is unnecessarily long.

Professor Mali is really nice but gives so much work. There was 2 midterms, 1 group presentation, 1 7-paged single spaced paper, 1 final exam and multiple weekly discussion posts. There are also 4 to 10 articles that you have to read every week which can be up to 30-paged long. If she could at least remove the final exam it'd be so much better.
