if you dont take this teacher then you are missing i got a b in this class i know i would have done better but she is so easy helps out in class omg she is the best. TAKE HER MAKE SURE YOU DO YOUR MATHLAB AND YOU ARE GOOD.

Shes a good teacher, she has her own ways of teaching, and the methods she use in many of the chapters help a lot. if you need to take this class, take it with this teacher. she would help you get a good grade. just make sure you do your homework. and if you miss a class make sure to get back on track or you will feel lost.

Have you ever heard of the phrase no question is a stupid one? Well with her it is. This woman, although highly educated has no business in front of a class. She shows no patience, made me feel stupid for asking a question. She actually rolled her eyes at me, when I asked. I thought I was being too hard, but heard another student say the same thing

Mrs. Morris is a good teacher. However she doesn't teach you everything. She runs out of time and then makes us do sections on our own. Unless you are good at math and have some knowledge at it. I would not recommend her unless you know what your doing!

Dr. Morris is hilarious but she has a no-nonsense mentality. Do your work, study and you'll make an A. She explains things SO WELL and for someone who loathes math (like me). Also she won't show 3-4 different ways (which confused me in the past) she focuses on a single method. GREAT PROFESSOR! I'm going to look for a Fall course with her again!

I really liked how she showed us useful shortcuts with calculators, it was helpful. You should be able to pass tests, especially with the up to 20 points of extra credits she gives for them. I like how she doesn't have time for any b.s. She is simple and gets right to the point.

This teacher was very, very helpful throughout the semester. Her classes were neither too tough nor too easy, and she is very accommodating with students' home lives. This professor teaches her subject in a way that's easy to understand and it even makes me want to learn more about the subject. Overall, I'd rate this teacher with an A+

Dr. Martin is by far the best Algebra instructor I've had, if you come to class & pay attention you will pass because she actually wants her students pass; strongly suggest you take her & wish she could teach my statistics class!

She's serious about coming to class, she will drop you if you miss more than 4 days. DO ALL YOUR HOMEWORK ONLINE before the test for +10 extra credit points on tests, drops lowest test grade, gives extra credit for +10 points too. I am the worst at math, I didn't even want to believe the reviews on here but they are so true! She's awesome take her!

If you have no idea in Maths, take her. I felt like i was taking first grade maths. She is really an amazing professor.

Attend class, do the homework, study, review for tests and you will pass with out a hitch! It's quite literally impossible to fail unless you don't do her work or fill in the notes she provides. I highly recommend taking her if you struggle with math because she explains everything step-by-step and makes the material easy to understand.

She's an amazing professor, she lectures on a level where you are destined to learn regardless of your math background. She provides a reviews before every exam and they're about the same! She was an Amazing Teacher! She teaches you everything and lets you use your notes and test review while taking the test. The test is exactly like the test review, except in different questions. She gives many opportunities for extra credit if you do your homework before the test.

When I enter into this classroom I didn't know anything about Math. When I finish this class I can say she made sure you understood Math. She take her time and make sure everyone understand her class!!!!! I would say take this class if you don't know Math at all!!!!

Math has always been a struggle for me. I needed this credit because I failed Algebra. I took professor Martin and she made me see Math differently. Needless to say, I got an A in her class. She is awesome. Very thorough. Take her. You won't be disappointed. If you struggle with math, she's there to help you. And she's responsive with emails.

You can make an A in this class if you do your work. in order to pass test you need to do review... do homework and you have an A... I don't like math but she explains very well and you can only miss her class 5 times... but if you miss her class you miss a lot of info and you take like 10 quizzes .... Great teacher

Very straightforward and clear professor. Lectures are easy to understand and she gives you all the tools to succeed. You don't need the textbook, the notes you get from her and the online resources are enough. She's very willing to explain anything you don't understand. Don't skip her class unless you can get good notes from someone.

I am not good in Math at all. I took her class this semester and will recommend everyone take her for Algebra 1314. I received the C because of some mistakes I make in the class, but she is a wonderful professor. I really enjoyed working with her and learning some great note and test taking tips.

She is HANDS DOWN THE BEST PROFESSOR!! I am not good with numbers. Sometimes I forget what 2+2 is. But she dedicates her time to her students. Helps us understand. Guides us. Her lessons are so good, I don't know how she does it. She keeps it real. If you're looking for an easy grade then keep looking. I highly recommend her! You won't regret it!

Professor Martin is very nice, very thorough, very organized, very clear of her expectations. I received a B in this class. Her class number was 1332 Liberal Arts Math it was not listed. She was awesome.

Good Teacher makes you work for your grade, makes your confidence in class boost especially in math classes, many quizzes but as long as you do the homework and do study guides you should pass the class but awesome teacher!!!

Professor Martin is incredible. Attendance is mandatory, but she is not unreasonable about any excuses. She is so kind and helpful. I had trouble getting an Accommodation's Letter, and she helped me in every way she could. She is a wonderful math professor; she made everything so simple. Her tests are easy and her reviews are extremely helpful.

I liked Dr. Martin's class I though she was really funny but I could understand why other's struggled with her. She does have a bit of a short temper when you're not letting her explain and therefore you don't understand what's going on. I'm really good at math so this course was just a refresher for me. She also explains things thoroughly.

This professor wants you to pass her class and understand the content. There are quizzes every week and four tests including her final but she will help you and gives exam reviews that are like the tests. If you attend her class and manage your time with the homework you will pass her class.

Dr. Martin really cares about her students and gives you all the information you need to do well, but you have to do your part. Participate in the test reviews because they are true to what you can expect on the exams, and you can use them as exam notes. Do the homework - extra credit for your tests. Dr. Martin was AMAZING! I was nervous all together because I am not good at Math. She made learning math easy and understandable! She communicated clearly and was always making sure to extend herself if you had extra questions. I can not stress enough that she COMMUNICATES, which is needed when taking a math course. I would take her class again!

There/s a lot of HW in MML, which counts towards 10 extra credit pts for each test if you complete 50% of ea. section. Wkly 2-question quizzes online after class & DB ques. Take good notes, write down and learn the scientific calculator steps & watch the videos & don't miss class. 4 tests-lowest dropped. 25 of 27 students passed with a C or better.

If you have to take MATH 1324 and you're not good at math or havent taken a math class in years, get Dr. Martin! Shes more than a great professor! 4 test, lowest dropped. 16 quizzes, 8 dropped. 20 HWs, 5 dropped. Complete all hw and she will give you 10 points towards test. Hoping for a B but got an A! Final exam is exactly as the review. Get her!!

Dr martin uses an unconventional way to teach that students can actually comprehend she gives feedback which helped me as a student. She made me instill confidence in myself making me believe i can do whatever i set my mind to do.

Dr. Martin loves what she does and gives real life scenarios on how to apply the mathematic principles to your life. I hadn't taking a math class in 19yrs, so I was real rusty. I studied and watched the lecture videos & calculator videos they were so helpful. Bring your willing spirit and the ability to roll up your sleeves and do the work.

I absolutely loved taking this class, mainly because of Dr. Martin. She has an amazing break down method and she does not rush through her lessons. She have one on one meetings that you can schedule to accomplish your goals. Use them to your advantage!! All in all I loved taking her and wish I could take her for my other math classes. DO IT!

I would HIGHLY recommend taking her class. You WILL pass this class as long as you DO THE WORK. We have about 16 quizzes but she will drop 8 quizzes, so if you get 100% on at least 8 quizzes, she will keep the ones you passed and drop the other 8 from your gradebook. Also, you're able to make +10 extra credit points for each test for HW completion

Excellent professor. I would love to have this class online because the presential class was hard for me to come after work and pay attention plus I missed some classes. I recommend her class a lot of extra credit and oportunities.
