Very easy class; Just go to class the day before the test and she tells you exactly what's on it, very little effort required.

very easy. just study the notes. Find friends and each one of you take a turn going to class and taking notes and signing the others in. share the notes. very easy.

Ms. Mason makes Psychology very interesting and she gets some good interaction with the class. She knows her stuff and lets you know her values. If you have a chance to get her--do so, you won't regret it!

Its an easy class just go to class everyday cause u take notes, but those notes are on the test and you actually don't need to bye the book for he class!!!! saves u money

Miss Mason is an excelleant teacher, she know's what she's talking about and she makes it interesting for everyone. Her quiz and test are very easy...I recommend her to everyone, it's an easy high grade.

I love this woman. She is AMAZING! She lets you use your notes on quizzes, she gives a TON of extra credit, and reviews for every test. Take her if you take General Psych, will not be displeased.

Oh man she was awesome. I went to her for help after I bombed a test and asked her what I could do to get my A. I ended up getting caught the next day talking to another student while she was lecturing, she ripped into me and stayed after me ever since to make sure I did well. I ended up pulling an A, she was one of the most helpful instructors.

I loved Mason, most everything we did was online, and my friends and I would just get in a group and do it all together. We all made A's and attendance wasn't mandatory, although it always helps. I hate psych, always have, but she made it interesting enough that I didn't mind learning it.

For being my first semester at college, Ms. Mason helped a lot. She was always willing to answer your questions and she helped you learn the material in other ways than just reading from the book. I'd take her class over again if I had to!

Mason is my hero!! She reminds me why I want to be a psych major. She is always willing to devote her time to helping her students. Her upper level Psych classes are hard, but for General Psych she's definitely the one to choose. I also had her for DGS and she is amazing! I HIGHLYYYY recommend this class!

She was amazing! She always lets you know what she wants and the tests and quizzes were online! Plus we could use our book. She didn't care if you came to class, but you can learn a lot if you do. She goes over everything very well and gives good examples. She even assigned group in class assignments. Easy and fun class to have.

Great professor. All test and quizzes are online. That will hurt you if you never check you blackboard. Although she gives opportunities to make up what you have missed. Easy to listen to. Not boring at all. Does not allow cell phone out in class or she'll kick you out of her class.

great professor, the best one for psychology department. doesn't allow electronics in class, very understandable and interesting, helpful. Quizes and tests done on your own time and about 8 or so every midterm. grades are a point system. has in-class activities, dismisses class early alot. very easy if you do the work

This teacher is excellent. I didn't get as great a grade as I wanted midterm and its because I wasn't reading my book or keeping up with blackboard. You definitely need to do that if you take her class. She has great lectures and if you go to class keep your phone put up she is not afraid to kick you out. Overall she makes the class interesting.

She's such an amazing teacher! She reminds me of a Miranda Lambert and Reba mix. She's super helpful, responds to emails, and lectures about interesting things. However, she doesn't really keep up with her syllabus and changes dates a lot. YOU MUST GO TO CLASS to keep up with her, and always check blackboard!! Having the book is also VERY IMPORTANT

Great person, not prof. She doesn't really teach you anything though, she just goes through the book page by page summarizing them. NO PHONES. Assignments are normally not too bad, but if you don't understand whats going on, youre screwed. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone unless your a psych major and/or have a lot of time on your hands.

Easy class. Highly recommend her as a teacher. Aslong as you don't take out your phone, read the text book and show up to class you'll be fine. She gives out extra credit by various ways, none are very easy to do. But I made a B in the course without it.

Dr. Mason sets a standard for the course from day one. You always know where you stand with her and what she is about. If you attend class and complete her assignment you will do well!

If you buy (and actually read) the book, go to class, and study a reasonable amount for the tests you will be fine. This is not a blow-off class, but if you put forth an effort you can do well.

All of the people who dont like Mason didnt want to put effort into the class. Her writing in psy class is difficult, but isnt that what college is about? I learned more in her class then in any other I have taken. Attendance is a must if you want to do good. She gives random extra credit assignments. Recommend her to everyone!!!

Pretty simple class. The tests are a little hard, but all the answers are in the textbook and a lot of them are also online. BUY THE BOOK, and don't miss discussions - they weigh heavy on your grade!

I recommend that EVERY psych major take Writing in Psych in person. The online class is self-taught, but Mason's in person class was such a miracle! She grades tough, and you HAVE to buy the APA manual, but if you stick with it she will make sure you pass, and probably make sure you get an A, too.

First off all of her test are online you get TWO attempts and they are open up until midterm and finals. The final was 50 questions long and ONLINE with TWO attempts. She gives us many opportunities to do well. She is nice and her lectures are never boring. She does a lot of in class group work so you can't miss. She is a tough grader but she rocks

She's very straight forward with her expectations in the course. Reading the book is a MUST as each test is made directly from the book, don't expect to make A's on tests without finishing a chapter. Her lectures give you a more simple view of the text. Go to class as she assigns in-class work due in-class as grades, almost every class day.

Her class isn't easy but it's worth it. She cares about her student and you will definitely learn something. She wants you to succeed if you are willing to give effort. Never skip class. She takes participation grades often.

I have had Mason for 2 classes one online and one in person. She is pretty clear on what she wants. She is a tough grader. She grades hard so you will learn and know better for the next paper. The quizzes and tests aren't to hard just read the chapter. You do have papers to write. She will tell you where to look in your apa manual.

Mason is a great professor, she can be hard on grading, however she does not want to fail you so she helps you and gives many chances to pass. GO TO CLASS, she always has daily work that really helps your grade!

My class was online, and everything was due at once so you had half the semester to complete half of the course on your own time. It was easy to accomplish. There were quizzes, video discussions, and discussions, along with midterm and a final test. ONLY reason i didn't get an A was I forgot to take the midterm.

Took for online Human Lifespan and it was really easy. I would definitely take her again! She is great at reminding students of deadlines and is very helpful!

Masons class was ok. Her quizzes are hard but can find some answers on quizlet. Her discussion boards are challenging because they require a lot of thought and sources. There's also an 80 Question mid term and final and a FUN 10 page paper that has to be done but she gives you a lot of time for it. As long as you don't get behind you're fine.

You must use the APA MANUAL

Masons class was great! Her quizzes are a bit tough but can find answers on quizlet/online. Discussion boards are tedious because they require some work since you need sources . There's an 80 Question midterm & final, an interactive paper w/in your major, & a 10 page paper but she gives you time for it. Got a B cause I wasn't able to do 1st paper.

She is an amazing professor, she is very caring and is very straight forward. She gives you many opportunities to correct your papers and helps you along the way. Highly recommend taking this class face to face and with this professor!!

She was a really great online professor. It's almost a self taught class, and I liked that because I got to basically go at my own pace for the Human Lifespan. You get tons of time to do the quizzes and you get more than 1 chance to do them. The discussion posts were a little difficult but nothing a college student cant handle!

Need to make sure you keep up with assignments. Finding the articles for the writing assignments can be difficult so give yourself enough time to find the correct article.

This course was very easy, but interesting. There were only three discussion boards and quizzes were very easy.

Dr. Mason's class was very easy. She can be a tough grader but she also gives you a chance to submit discussion posts before the due date and she will tell you what to fix so you can get full credit. The discussion board was really the only awful assignment. 5 of them at 600 words a piece. Felt like non stop short essays.

I took Professor Mason's lifespan growth and development class. The only way you could get a bad grade in the class is if you don't try. You are made aware of all of your assignments for the semester at the beginning. You get two chances on all of the quizzes, tests, and discussions.

Masons class was reasonable overall. The quizzes and discussion boards require effort, but using resources like unstuck AI can help. Manageable workload if you stay on top of it.

Dr. Mason certainly stands on business, but she is an amazing professor. She's very understanding and grades fairly. She always gave us feedback on major assignments before the final grade, to help her students do as well as possible. The only thing I would say to beware of is her online classes, especially for writing in psyc, it is best in person
