***WORST*** professor I've ever encountered. This man is an extremely harsh grader. He marks with no mercy whatsoever if you don't have what he wants as an answer. You write so much and he gives marks like 0/5 if he's not happy. You try to reason with him, or beg and plead for 1 more mark, he ain't gonna give it to you. A very stubborn prof.

Terrible prof. Just terrible.

Horrendous professor. Awful at explaining concepts. You will hate his voice. Out of every prof I've seen, Kolster's handwriting is the worst. Never provides any sample questions for exams, so they are quiet unpredictable. He's a two faced liar, that sweet talks on your face but gets a sadistic pleasure out of failing students or giving low marks.

Genuinely enjoys failing students. Loves the letter grade F and assigning it. Very mean, stern, and unforgiving prof. If you ask him for more marks on one question, he would remark your entire assignment and reduce marks on another question that you think was marked fairly. School and the city of Hamilton would be better off without him

Utterly useless. I couldn't get anything from his lectures. I don't recommend him to anybody.

I had this professor for MATH 2S3 many many years ago. He was boring, difficult, and a very mean marker. He grades your paper so harshly with no consideration of your feelings. Terrrrrrible proffff

I have had many profs in university, but still I think I least enjoyed going to this prof's lectures. His teaching is of lower quality than the junk they sell at the dollar store.

He is a very rude prof. I went to his office and his breath smelled like fish. He was breathing fish all over me. Not nice.

His lectures are garbage. All he does on the board is proofs and they are worthless. Try teaching something!!!

He shouts: "Will somebody give me the answer?" He thinks he is the smartest prof on campus and everybody else is dumb. This prof is so stuck-up that it's not even worth having a conversation with him. Avoid Manny.

Worst Professor I have ever had.

He's one of the worst prof i have. He assumes alot. If you go to his office hours hes going to explain the same way he did in class so its useless.

He was really bad.

He tries very hard to be funny, but let me make it clear that he is NOT FUNNY AT ALL. His Jokes are stupid and ridiculous and he is a very hard marker. He is a mean person, although he may seem nice and polite from his face.

What a sorry excuse for a professor. He did not even update his web site. That would have been so helpful for final exam preparation, but NOOOOOOOOOO, this prof just tells us in his lion voice that the exam is easy. Well it was not easy and I am so happy I gave him a poor evaluation at the end of the term.

Poor teaching skills with a very big ego. He is also a very difficult grader. If you don't give him the answer for which he is looking he gives you zero. Stop taking your courses so seriously, old guy, and give your students credit when they have worked hard for it.

He is the worst math grad chairman McMaster has ever had.

I warn everybody who is going to take a course by this prof, DONOT believe him. He is the biggest liar born on earth and he likes to see students do poorly. He is the biggest Hypocrite I've ever seen. It's OKAY for him to make countless mistakes on the board, but when you make a tiny mistake on the exam, he will give you 0 on that question. Awful.

His face is frightening, it's hard to get past that, but he does wear sexy clothing. I especially think he looks very handsome in those military pants. Apparently the look is catching on as many McMaster students are now wearing them.

He is so boring. His lectures cover so much theory and irrelevant proofs that he does not even test you on. He does them in class just to waste time. His writing is so bad. I recommend he go back to nursery school so that they teach him proper handwriting.

Very poor at explaining even the simplest mathematical concepts during lecture. I can't even read his handwriting. When he writes an s it looks like an r. How does he expect students to learn math with those kind of teaching methods?

Very Tough Professor. He looks so intimidating. He always writes "Best Wishes" at the end of his e-mails but he does not really mean it. He doesnot want best wishes for you, he is so fake that it's unbelievable.

I think this prof does not deserve even 1/5 for his rankings. He is the WORST PROF IN THE WHOLE UNIVERSITY. I have never seen a more multi faced prof before.

Very Unfair prof. He has very little knowledge of what he teaches. He makes so much mistakes on the board and then laughs about it and makes dumb jokes. It is OK for him to make mistakes on the board, but when u make mistakes on his exams, he will nail u hard, and give u very litle part marks. What a Hypocrite. It's unbelievable. Very terrible prof

His hand writing is the worst among all professors of the math department. My 2 year old daughter can write better then Manfred Kolster. He told us the exam will be so easy; it was not easy. It was pretty brutal. I was expecting an A+ in this course but walked out with an B+ because the final was pretty tough. I think Raza marked brutal on it.

I had this horrific instructor many years ago for Number theory and oh boy was he horrible. He spoke with a thick german accent and his handwriting was impossible to decipher. He is extremely old but still takes his courses so seriously it's unbelievable. At this age people should stop worrying so much about students and marking hard on exams.
