Jariwala has finally made physics into a course that I can understand. He is extremely helpful, and more approachable in office hours than other professors. He will get to know you by name if you put in the time. He appreciates it if he sees you putting in effort. Great physics professor, something I haven't said once since I came to BU, until now.
Prof. Jariwala knew everyones FIRST AND LAST names before the first day of class. That just shows his unsurpassed dedication to the class. HW was impossible but if you moved out of your dorm and into SCI121 (the physics help room) and lived there all throughout the semester you could get some decent HW grades. Class started slow but v --> c by end.
Manher was an amazing teacher. He really cares about his students to the point where he will approach you if you write him a comment. he hands out comment sheets during most classes so you can voice any concerns. He knows the material very thoroughly and can teach physics in many different ways. Best teacher I've had at BU.
Jariwala is fantastic. He truly wants to make his students learn and be happy, so he's willing to adjust based on what people put on the comment sheets he hands out. Knows his students by name. Does a good job teaching; I never read the book. Not to mention he's just an adorable little man, highly entertaining in class.
Helpful, approachable, and engaging, Jariwala is an outstanding teacher. One of the best at BU.
Extremely nice person and good professor. Knows all his students' names and faces. Lots of visual demonstration in class to help you conceptualize some kind of tough concepts. Uses powerpoint but does not depend on it, will work through problems on the board. Open to suggestions. It is impossible not to like Prof. Jariwala.
He is absolutely ny favorite professor. He is clear, organized, and hilarious. Take his class if you get the chance! His averages are always better than the other professors on exams. He is just amazing overall.
Jariwala is my favorite professor at this school! He is very clear and entertaining in class. His demonstrations and worksheets are very helpful, especially preparing for exams. Go to class and office hours and you should do well. Great professor!
One of the few professors at BU who actually respects the students. He will listen to what you have to say and act on it, instead of dismissing you as another obnoxious student interrupting his research time (like other professors will). One of the best professors I've had at BU, hands down.
Hands down Jariwala's the best professor I've had so far at BU. Very clear and concise. Lots of demonstrations to show student concepts, and interactive questions to gauge students' progress. He caters his lectures to what the class need to learn. If you go to his office hours you'll do well in his class. Definitely take him if you have the chance!
I dropped the class, and I still think Jariwala is awesome. Kind and approachable. He explains concepts well in lectures. Always offers to help (not solve) with homework problems. TA stunk, but u must go to labs and discussion (quizes). Tests are HARD, study 10 days in advance. In-class evaluations help make the class better be4 it ends!
Manher is the man! Perfectly clear, helpful and an excellent teacher. During office hours he helps you out individually. He is probably the perfect professor, I have never seen people clap when a teacher ends a lecture. Jariwala is the man!
A very devoted professor. Easy A.
Jariwala is the epitome of a "must have" professor. PY 212 can have dense material but he is great at explaining, creates a nice curve, and is always willing to help. Not to mention he is always in a super cheerful mood.
Jariwala is a godsend. I have NO strength in physics and it was only with his dedication to his students that I managed to do better than I expected. Stayed for office hours after class til about 9 even with a pregnant wife and then a baby. If you struggle with physics, take Jariwala!!
the best prof I've had at BU!!he is EXTREMELY helpful. the course is VERY HARD, but he makes your time worth a while. if a requisite, take it with him!!! go to office hours, make friends with him and will make it a little easier to pass
Jariwala is THE BEST professor that I have had at BU. The class is by no means easy, but he makes it interesting and easy to follow. The material is difficult and the test are difficult. Without Jariwala I don't know how I would have done well in this class.
Awesome teacher and person. By the first class he already had the names of students memorized in a huge PY 211 lecture. If you have to take PY 211 take it with Jariwala or at least go to his lecturers.
Awesome, awesome professor. Makes you love physics even though it's a difficult class. He is also a genius that can memorize 300+ names after 2 classes (even the guy who sleeps in the back). He WILL know your name, and he WILL help you do well in physics.
Jariwala is good, a legitimate good professor. Lectures are great, more of a concept based lecture. Need to do prelecture (online) and takes attendance through clicker (participation of M.C questions). Trust me, if Electromagnetic never goes along with you, take his class and it will be. Requires very intense studying for A (no A+ in BU).
Jariwala is a nice guy and yes he will know your name. His lecture notes are good, but he never seems to update them on the web until a week before any exam. One negative about him is that he'll ask questions during class, but then sometimes fails to tell you what the answer is. I often hear my classmates ask each other "so what's the answer?"
a truly gifted teacher. I HATED E&M in high school and came out of PY 212 with such a solid understanding of the relevant concepts! It's a lot of material and a lot of work but if you do all the homework, prelectures, reading, etc., and bring Jariwala your questions, you will really understand physics by the end of the semester.
Professor Jariwala is, in a word, AMAZING. In addition to being a dynamic lecturer, he has a wicked memory, a fantastic understanding of his subject, and a true interest in helping his students. I wish all my professors were of the caliber of Dr. Jariwala. I can't say enough good things about him!
Prof. Jariwala was the best professor I had during my time at B.U. Physics was a difficult subject for me, but Jariwala was there to explain things clearly and stay way later than he should have in the Physics help room during his office hours. If you are required to take PY211 or 212 make sure you get Jariwala!
Professor Jariwala is the best teacher I have seen so far. He makes sure to know the names of everyone in the lecture hall in a week and makes sure to call on the people whom he knows are having trouble. He makes a 100 person lecture feel like a discussion. He doesn't make study guides, but reviewing problem sets is a great way to study for a test
I cannot recommend Jariwala more! Absolutely the best teacher I have ever had in my life! Extremely enthusiastic, knowledgeable and fun, he makes the difficult topic of Physics very interesting. He listens to everything students say about which concepts were difficult/confusing. I can't even justify cutting class because it's a pleasure to learn.
He's my favorite!
Professor Jariwala is the best! He really cares about each of his students and tries his best to constantly improve the class. Though he calls on people, he never makes you feel dumb in any way, even if your answer's wrong. I really disliked physics before; because of him, I look forward to becoming an LA
Professor Jariwala is the most skillful lecturer & inspiring professor I've ever had! He excels at explaining abstract concepts in PY212, I can't imagine taking the class with any other professor. Far from skipping, I actually looked forward to each class with him. Study problem sets, redo the prelecture quizzes to really understand the concepts!
Manher is the BEST professor I've ever had in my life. Lots of dedication to his students, great lectures that never bored me, his enthusiasm can and will inspire everyone in his class. Take his class!!!!!!!!!!
Pro Jariwala is so great for putting a lot of efforts on demonstrating the materials in the class. If you like physics, do not miss his class!
Jariwala is easily my favorite professor. He's very interested in his students and wants them to succeed. His personality is great, and his lectures may be rough to comprehend (only on the fact that they're physics - nothing to do with Jariwala himself) but he makes them worthwhile to come to. Take his class!!!
He has pretty interesting and helpful lectures, especially his handouts. The class is very hard and it is very helpful to read the textbook chapters beforehand. The homeworks do not help you understand the material though.
Great professor, but sometimes, he doesn't respond to email and isn't very clear when he answers you... but he will move on anyway...
Great lecturer, one of the best I've had. A bit dismissive in office hours. The workload in the course is heavy, but doable. I recommend Jariwala strongly.
Did not like his teaching style. His lectures convey part of the material, but do not help you do the actual problems. Does not always answer emails, and can be somewhat dismissive. On the other hand, Professor Jariwala is very nice, and easy to talk to. Hard Class, not an easy grader.
Very impressed. He knew my name (and probably the majority of the class') name by the end of the lecture despite only speaking with me once. I don't understand his teaching methods, they don't work for me, but they seem to work for everyone else. It's an easy class, though, so it doesn't really matter.
Prof. Jariwala is the most beautiful human being ever! He's so passionate about physics and seriously reads and values everyone's comments. His lectures are really entertaining. Not to mention, he's so caring, humble, and adorable! Never thought I'd be inspired in a physics class, but his dedication and his stories are truly inspiring!
Absolutely great professor! His lectures are very well put together and the amount he cares about each student is outstanding! The work is a lot and difficult but it is definitely doable. He also curves in a friendly manner.
Prof Jariwala was a great professor. Highly recommend him. His lectures were extremely well put together and the amount of dedication he puts into each of his students is amazing. It was only my freshman year but he may be the best prof I have throughout the remainder of my college career.
He is a great guy who really loves physics (he worked at Nasa) But his tests are impossible compared to what he goes over in class. His lectures are certainly interesting and he really does care about your grade in the class, and he is very understanding but he teaches you basics and expects you to know more (same thing in his PY212 class)
He seems really nice but he just overloads with work. The lectures are basic compared to the homework, and you basically have to teach yourself. The exams are difficult as well, and curving with students who already knew the content from previous classes doesn't help.
The lectures are fun but don't help you understand the material. The homeworks are hard and the exams are hard. READ THE TEXTBOOK. This class goes over the entire textbook in a very short time. It is nearly impossible to keep up. This class should be for 6 credits instead of 4 given the hours and energy needed to pass.
Really passionate about teaching, and is a really good teacher. Make sure to do all the required pieces of the course, like the pre-lectures, and you will get a lot out of the class. The homework wasn't too difficult if you understood the lecture, and tests are more than just calculating answers, rather they require thought too.
Professor Jariwala was an awesome professor to have during my freshman year. I struggled with physics, having never taken it before, but his classes really helped me to grasp the topics, and he ended up inviting me to become an LA for the class. Sometimes the lectures are a lot simpler than the problems you have to do, but the resources are there.
A good professor and is passionate about teaching, and does about the best job I think possible given the material often isn't very tangible or interesting. There's a lot of out-of-class work, but it definitely helps you retain the material better, and there's plenty of extra help and office hours. Tests are fair and similar in difficult to PY211.
Jariwala is my favorite professor so far. A short, slightly squeaky, man who really loves physics. yes, he has a good amount of homework and PY211 is never really "easy", but he is really clear and engaging. I never had a problem paying attention in lecture.
Professor Jariwala is one of my favorite teachers that I have encountered my entire life. He is very passionate and engaging in his lectures. He makes it easy to pay attention and understand the material. His lectures are extremely useful and definitely worth showing up for! His homework can be time consuming, but his tests are reasonable!
Do not expect traditional lectures, rather a group centered problem solving workshop. This is problematic for students who do not have a physics background, as a formal lecture is necessary to understand the basis of the material you are learning. Would not recommend taking Physics with Jariwala if you are looking to get your monies worth from BU.
Great professor, by far one of my favorites at BU. He is very engaging and while sometimes the tests are difficult, he rewards a lot of partial credit. I did better than expected in this class.
What you do in class in nothing like the homework. The homework is the hardest part, but the tests are very fair.
Professor Jariwala is a truly inspiring Physics professor. His lectures are split between traditional lecturing and discussion-like group work. He has the class get up, move around, and work together to keep things interesting! Although the class surely does require a solid effort, I truly appreciated Prof. Jariwala
The class is hard, but it's a physics , what do you expect? Jariwala makes it easy and understandable and he's super approachable and lectures are so fun. It's one of those classes that you'll end up putting your heart and soul into and actually be proud of when you do well. Take your time and do your best. Overall, totally worth it!
If you are taking physics 211 or 212 take it with Jariwala. These classes are hard, but his lecture and discussions are designed to help you understand and master the material. He is funny and his lectures make you laugh. There is no way around it Jariwala is one of the best professors BU has to offer.
Best teacher ever! Took both py211 and py212 with Jariwala. He is very accessible outside of class and knows every student by name. He really cares about his students and every lecture was worth it. Most lectures also come with an exciting demo. Learned not only physics but also life lessons. Class had decent work but was definitely worth it!
Best professor I've had. Makes an extremely difficult class digestible and tolerable. Inspiring.
Jariwala is seriously one of the best professors I've ever encountered. He is just so passionate and dedicated to teaching. He really wants you to succeed, so if you're having trouble it's best to just go talk to him. Exams are challenging but very fair, as long as you understand everything from lectures and discussions you should be fine.
He grows on you. He really does. When you realize he's teaching 150 or so other students, you come to appreciate the effort and care he puts in. He frequently visits labs or discussions and clearly cares about the class he's giving. Any shortcomings of the course are not his fault, but due to the size of the class.
Jariwala made physics fun and accessible to everyday life. I learned a lot, but watch out: this class is extremely difficult and may take up a disproportionate amount of your time! Jariwala is so dedicated and backed up by an all star team of TAs, so go to office hours when you need help
Jariwala is wonderful professor, he genuinely cares about his students. In an 80 person lecture he will literally know every single person's name it's impressive. However, this class is a lot of independent learning - you really have to put in the effort to teach yourself most of the material and go to office hours, which are very helpful.
Jariwala is pretty good. A very nice guy, and always excited about what he's teaching. You really do need to go to office hours and ask questions because you really need to know the material in order to do well on the tests. Test are significantly more difficult than problems worked out in class.
Seriously one of the best professors I've ever had! I honestly can't imagine a better physics professor.
Professor Jariwala is a really sweet person, but a mediocre teacher. His lecture notes are not particularly helpful, and the lecture was difficult for me to follow because he is always moving around the room. I learned the material primarily by reading the textbook and doing the homework.
Prof Jariwala is a good professor though the class goes by too fast. He is clear and cares about his students. You will pass with a good grade if you put in consistent work!
Great person horrible teacher - he does not teach at all, but rather asks you to learn by yourself. That's great but y go to class then?
Jariwala's physics lecture is like nothing I've ever experienced at BU. Heavy emphasis on group work, participation, and problem sets. However, Jariwala genuinely cares about his students, and, despite rushing through a few of his lectures (oftentimes to ensure that we would have enough time for group work), his teaching style is nearly flawless
His research is in physics education - so you can imagine that every aspect of his class is carefully designed to bring you as much benefit as possible. The most engaging professor I've had, who actively works to make sure every student in his 75-person lecture is progressing. He could help an English major through physics.
I really don't get how people say he's a great professor when he doesn't teach or give good help at all. He often gives sass and is shady for really no reason and it's just like "What??" TFs can also indirectly belittle you--at least thats how i felt. Also its hard to keep track of how well youre doing in the class. No cumulative score on BB. Bad.
Great professor! Teaches you (indirectly) how to learn and study by yourself which is great because I think college is where we learn to study on our own. Makes physics fun and lecture helps you solidify your knowledge. Assignments are returned promptly, grades are posted on BB. If you want a cumulative score, add it yourself, it's not that hard.
This was more difficult than chem. The professor isnt good at teaching, he values group work over lectures and I couldnt learn like that. Very hard graders, its discouraging getting points taken off for the smallest things. If you dont explain an answer the way they want you to (even if its the way you understood it) you wont get the points.
Best professor I've had at BU. I had my apprehensions coming into the course given my struggles in high school but he made physics enjoyable for me through his emphasis on group work and engaging lectures.
Is a very enthusiastic and caring professor. If you are familiar with physics this class will be easy, however if not the class is designed to be engaging and get you to interact with physics concepts hands-on. Extra "modern" educational material costs more money though (and the textbook ain't cheap either). Fun but unnecessarily hard.
Cant agree more that his modern way of teaching does not stimulate students interests at all. Lectures are basically going over PowerPoint that u can find online. Destroyed all my passion about physics through this course taught by this professor
Jariwala is an amazing physics professor and really cares about his students. The logistics of the class is excessive with different software for pre lectures, homework, clickers, grades and course material. This makes the class super expensive for no good reason other than possible company sponserships. Tests also will lay you out, no mercy
EXTREMELY engaging lectures. Group-centered learning and active participation. Very well prepared. His homework is mostly problems out-of-the-book but through the online Mastering Physics portal. Wasn't crazy about some of his feed back procedures, and he would give out study guides and "sample exams" but never the solutions to the exams.
Best physics professor ever! Funny guy. He's really good at explaining stuff and he is very knowledgable as well. As long as you follow the pre-lecture, Lecture, Mastering Physics, Problem Set cycle, pay attention and actually care, you are pretty much set for a B+/A- minimum.
The best physics professor you will ever have. He makes learning the material fun and engaging. In class, you will do a lot of group work on problems on whiteboards, participate through clickers, and learn through demos. There are prelectures that will help you get exposed to the material, and this class will give you ALL the resources to succeed!
Jariwala wants everyone to be successful in his class, even though the content is not easy to learn without previous exposure. There are many opportunities out of class to get help with the material. A fair grader but can leave you confused by the difficulty of some questions on the exams.
If you participate, you'll love this class. He was very clear and always accommodating to his student. Genuinely wants to see everyone do well but you really have to earn it. A LOT of work in and out of class since it's not an easy subject.
I love Jariwala, I really do. If you have the choice, ABSOLUTELY pick him. He's genuinely passionate about physics and cares a lot about his students. That being said, he can be a little passive-aggressive sometimes (ie. not answering certain questions on Piazza or calling people out during lectures...) but he's a good guy and a good professor
Professor Jariwala is such a joy to have in class, hes super cheerful and genuinely loves physics. However, he is an extremely petty grader who takes off points for the pettiest reasons. He also talks about helping students, but that only applies in office hours. he doesnt respond to emails and is a bit rude unless in person or in a classroom.
Chill and enthusiastic guy. Makes you love physics.
One of the best professors. He truly cares about every single student, over 150 and he knows all their names. He is incredibly intelligent but will dumb down to explain a concept. Although physics is hard, he does his best to help you pass and understand concepts. His lectures are entertaining and engaging.
Jariwala explains the fundamentals of physics very well. His lectures and discussions are in groups. He memorizes all his students and is overall very caring. He is very wholesome and the way exams and lectures were transferred online, he is often more than okay to accommodate all his students' needs and goes out of his way to help.
Best professor for the hardest class.
Took it as an Engineering major. 5 long quizzes make the course so much more chill. Jariwala is very friendly and inspirational during OH when answering specific questions. Def redo the discussion worksheets before the quizzes, the quizzes are VERY similar to them.
I really tried to like Professor Jariwala, but I just couldn't. His teaching style is mostly group based, something I cannot learn physics from. His sarcastic comments gets annoying after times. He is a petty grader and his exams are tough; 7 pages in 1.5 hours. HW is long and time consuming. PY212 was better than PY211 bc he adapted better
He is a good prof, very cute in a way. However, lots of work, let it be quiz, homework, group work, etc. Peer communication is important. Tho he has a Piazza thread for the class, the app Meechu would provide more immediate help to your problems.
Pros - Engaging and clear lectures and OH (the best lecturer Ive had), quizzes similar to class/hw probs, fast email responses Cons - Nitpicky quiz graders, didnt communicate specific course info about grading weight until the last couple weeks, sometimes piazza Qs went a good amount of time with no answer
If you want to learn physics. He is the right one. Insanely passionate professor. You won't find any physics professors who are more energetic than him. But, the tests are quite heavy.
Professor Jariwala is passionate about teaching, and he is extremely intentional about understanding how students learn and structuring his entire class accordingly. The class goes super fast through a lot of different material, so if you bomb one section the next one is (often) kind of like a fresh start. Definitely recommend.
I am very much not a math or physics person, but had to take this class for my major. Professor Jariwala was incredibly understanding and helpful, and he and the TFs were available almost every day of the week for office hours, which helped me pass the class. He also remembers everyone's names, which is very impressive with 180 students.
Professor Jariwala is the best professor at BU. He's extremely caring, a good lecturer, funny, and while the material is certainly challenging, taking the time to understand the homework and discussions will make the class not only manageable but enjoyable. Also his TAs and LAs are really helpful in my experience.
Jariwala is the best. He's very approachable and always willing to answer questions. I love the format of lectures--it's an interactive format with group problem solving, much more engaging than traditional lectures. The grading is very fair. Homework is consistent and helpful. Exams aren't that stressful.Remember to do the prelectures. Great class
Professor Jariwala is nothing but amazing. His lecture style is VERY unique, setting you up in groups and forcing you to collaborate and learn with people from your discussion section. His lectures are all you need to get great grades, as his slides and explanations are VERY well done. It’s lecture heavy in a good way. 10/10
Dude, take his course. I'll avoid repeating all that has been said in the previous comments, but what a passionate and caring professor. A rare pearl.
Professor Jariwala is the best professor I have ever met!
I have no complaints :) He makes you excited to learn content. Humor is on point.
I'm a freshman, but I wouldn't be surprised if Jariwala was the best professor I'll every take. PY212 has had an incredible amount of effort placed on maximizing student learning. Also, I'm not sure what Jariwala puts in his coffee, but I'm pretty sure it could fuel a nuclear power plant with how much energy he brings to class.
One of the bests in BU.
This man is a legend and has so much energy. He also memorized the names of my entire 90 person lecture which is more than he had to and very appreciated.
I had a great time learning physics with Professor Jariwala! Make sure to read the textbook because the lectures only cover a bit of the material.
A legend. His boundless energy and enthusiasm makes even physics bearable. He cares so much about his students (and knows ALL of their names!), and is excellent at explaining concepts until everyone understands. Always smiling and easy to talk to outside of class. If your major unfortunately requires PY, take it with Jariwala. You won't regret it.
Jariwala will probably be the most caring professor you'll have at BU. Physics is a dense and confusing subject, but taking it with Jariwala made it so much better. While I wouldn't go as far as to recommend the class if you don't need it, rest assured that taking physics with Jariwala will be a lot better than with any other professor.
Memorized ~150 students names in days. Never took attendance, cause he would remember if you didn't show up (and then ask the next day if everything was okay). The clearest lectures I've seen at BU. E+M is a challenging subject to learn, but I feel like the environment he created is near optimal for learning. Check out the teaching awards he's won!
The class starts out a big confusing with the work and announcements being spread over 4 separate websites, but after that hurdle, this class will even start to make physics look fun. His lectures are interesting and his positive energy just radiates to everyone. The professor's exams were also easy as the questions are similar to the class's work.
Professor Jariwala is by far my favorite professor at BU. He makes me want to learn physics and is always willing to help everyone (and even remembers everyone's names!). I wish I could have him teach all my other classes. I would HIGHLY recommend taking 211/212 with him
Best professor ever. Made such a hard class incredibly entertaining. Learned so many names the first day of class and truly makes an effort. It is highly evident that he cares about his students and the material. Would recommend to anyone, probably the best STEM prof I'll ever have.
He very clearly cares for his students and wants everyone to succeed. The grading on tests are very generous. 50% of your grade is based on attendance, labs, hw, and discussion, which basically translates to "do your work, study, and you'll pass." The class can be time-consuming, but it's rewarding
E+M is hard. While he does a good job of covering general concepts during lecture, be sure to read the textbook, as it will help on the hw and also for test review. Despite the difficult concepts of this course, he ensures that everyone leaves lecture with a smile on their face. This class made me love physics.
I know everybody would think about his open, "Good Morning Everyone!", and yes I would say that this is the "must do" class at BU since this guy is super wonderful at teaching. He can memorize everyone's name in the very first week--how awesome! The class might be challenging but he carefully explains the concepts very well. Definitely recommend it
Professor Jariwala is the best professor I've had at BU so far. He is caring, incredibly energetic, always happy to help, and has a genuine interest in his students' success. There are a lot of assignments, but all of these can offset a bad quiz grade. There is no final, but rather 4 non-cumulative quizzes. Can't wait to have him again for PY212!
Problem sets were tough but homework is 50% of the grade. No final exam, only 4 big quizzes. Wish he focused a bit more on physics concepts but to be fair this was a physics class for engineers. He's super caring and offers a million different resources to help you learn. He's also very understanding. If you see his name under a course, TAKE IT!
Professor Jariwala is one of the best professors I've had at my time at BU. Amazing lectures, he uses lots of demonstrations and overall the lecture is very interactive. He makes learning a tough subject way easier and more fun
I absolutely loathe Physics, and I dont think I couldve passed this class without Jariwala. He is caring towards his students and an excellent lecturer. Thank you!
unless you learned physics in high school before this class is not easy. Professor is nice but his teaching style is not good. Lecture slides are choppy and hard to follow. When he lectures, he jumps around a lot so hard to follow. Mainly quizzes and problemsets (hw) (like 5-6 quizzes throughout semester). Get ready to learn everything on your own.
He knew everyone's name in the two 80 person lecture sections within like 2 weeks. It was impressive.
Prof. Jariwala is great at teaching and really cares for his students. He keeps things clear and really explain the content in an understandable way. Grading was relatively easy since a lot of the work is based on completion and the 5 non-cumulative quizzes are not hard at all. He also know every student's name and tries get to know them.
Jariwala is an amazing professor who makes a tough subject more engaging and accessible. The workload is challenging, but he provides tons of resources like Unstuck study to help. Definitely take this class if you can!
Honestly such a great professor here at BU, but certainly has his quirks. I personally love his teaching style, which is very energetic, with an emphasis on learning in groups. However if you do not like lecturing this way and would rather have a teacher that just talks for an hour then it may be a little difficult.
This man is a GOAT. Enganging lecture, funny, kind and caring. Very smart guy. Understood his students and made everyone feel included. Even memorized everyone's names. Made me excited to come to class. PY212 was hard but jariwala made it fun and worthwhile. Sad that I won't be his student anymore ngl.
Amazing teacher. Super nice and funny and will always help you with whatever question you have. He's always on his email or sitting in office hours. I love talking to him, and he's my favorite prof here. I absolutely hate physics, and I enjoy his class.
Professor Jariwala is great! He organized the course content clearly and the lectures and homeworks matches exams. But the class itself is not worth paying for. The content is made so basic to accommodate many students who did not learn physics. So basically you are paying for many others' high school tuition.
