Mr. Kang was an amazing professor. I took his class this summer. He was extremely helpful and it was an enjoyable class. He made sure his students understood the material, and if you didn't he even offered help outside of the class. He is extremely flexible and understanding. I would definitely take his class again.

I took gin for the summer to make up 16 weeks worth in 6 weeks. Although, we were assigned lots of homework as expected and going through 3 lectures per day he made sure we underdtood the criteria. In addition, he allowed to turn in homework late and even helped us out during tests making a review of what was expected to be on the test.

He is willing to answer your questions in class and any questions you have during tests if you're confused on what the question is asking.

His Math013 Hybrid class is fairly simple, but if you don't make the effort to actually learn the material you will get lost in higher classes. Prof Kang is a very easy grader and is very caring for his students. I recommend taking his class if you would like more freedom and are willing to actually learn.

Prof. Manjit Kang is clear on what is expected of you and how the class operates. If allows informs you before a quiz, about a week out. Also, at the end of class informs you what is due and when. Calculus is hard in general, so ask questions and he will explain till you understand the subject.

Professor Kang is one of the best teachers I have had. He is very flexible with assignments as long as he sees that you plan to submit them. He does everything he can for his students to help them achieve. Just do the work and he will make sure you pass.

I loved this class. He made everything easy to understand and was really understanding with his students. The exams are easy and are easy to pass if you do the homework. If you want to pass and have a person who is very understanding make sure to take his class you won't regret it!

I have never had a professor like him, and he had influence me in a good way. He can be hilarious in anyway, even when the class's mood is down. He listens to his students opinions, and asks them if they're comfortable whether the task is given. If I moved on to the next level of computer programming, I'd choose him as my professor again.

I would take this class again. Kang uses mainly notes to teach, so read the material that he has personally prepared. Then he also provides many examples. He is very understanding when you don't understand, so do not hesitate to contact him or go to office hours because he will patiently teach you. A quiz, discussion board, and lab every week.

Taking COMSC 76 with Professor Kang in-person lecture and Hybrid lab in Fall 2023. He is very flexible on grading and allows us to do all tests at home and online. He celebrates Christmas by giving extra credits and Thanksgiving with "Pizza" to our class.

I wish I could give a 1,000 out of 5. He really cares about you and what you learn. He is really lenient, accessible, nice, and very reasonable. He will give you his cell phone number in case you have questions on the homework. He will explain things as many times as you need. There really isn't any negatives when taking his class.

Manny Kang is a caring teacher. He really wants you to pass the class making sure you understand the topics given. I do advise to do a little studying on your own to deep and further your knowledge on the programming topics. Always came to the class happy to teach the class made it very welcoming to do good.

Very flexible and funny professor. Cares about students and is understanding. He uses good examples/analogies for understanding code and provides lecture notes, so you don't need to buy the textbook.

You will learn from reading the textbook on your own. He grades pretty fast. Tests are a little different from the textbook, but very little homework. Make sure to check Canvas every day. You can text him questions anytime.
