This professor is AWESOME!! Take her if you have the chance. She knows her stuff inside and out. She's funny and the way she teaches makes you learn all the material easily. Some of the things she writes are not 'grammatically correct' but that's only because she wasn't born in the US. TAKE THIS PROFESSOR, YOU WON'T REGRET IT! Exams were easy too.
Dr. Foley is an amazing teacher! She breaks the material down so it's easy to understand. Gives great reviews for tests. Take her if at all possible!!!! It's impossible to get a bad grade if you do the homework (easy - 15 questions) and the reviews for the tests! Quizzes once a week so GO TO CLASS!
Dr. Foley LOVES math! She is so delightful & breaks information down into easily understood pieces. You can only benefit from taking her class. Quizzes are once a week, and are open-note. Thorough exam reviews, and there are no surprises on the exams. You can easily use an ebook for this class, b/c most info comes from the notes, SO GO TO CLASS!
She's a really good teacher! Knows her stuff and is interested in helping students! Minimal accent, and it'd definitely not a hindrance in understanding her. Make sure you go to class! I started skipping for 3 or 4 weeks in the middle of the semester and it dropped my test grade from an A to a C! Overall, awesome professor, take her if you can!
I hate math, but I enjoyed this class. She is hilarious and tells tons of funny stories and explains concepts very well. All quizzes are open note and the tests are very similar to the review.
Dr. Foley is a great teacher and so funny. She is really nice and very helpful. All she wants if for her students to learn and make 'A's. While a little hard to understand, she copes with her pretty prevalent (and self-confessed) A.D.D. fairly well. I love her and I recommend her for students who need a hand when it comes to mathematics.
Class goes at a great pace. She covers EVERYTHING which will be on the test and even saves a day before the exam just for review. The only way you'd do bad is by not going to class or reviewing the material.
I highly recommend this professor. She goes at a very reasonable pace, uses examples to teach, and is clear about what is on the exams. No surprises and the tests aren't difficult.
She was an awesome teacher. Knows pretty much everything about math, having been a researcher. She isn't too hard and makes sure everyone understands everything she is talking about.
She is very good. She's great with math and plus she's funny. She generally does a review before the tests with similar questions that will be on it. Make sure you pay attention to the review questions and practice many like those and you will get a good grade. She is very helpful too. I would recommend taking her for pre-cal!
Awesome prof, especially for Math. Took her for trigonometry. Funny and clear. She will help no matter what and wants you to understand and pass. She has many ways of explaining, so dont be worried if you feel lost. She reviews before every test, and quizzes every Friday. She will even walk you through the quiz.
Dr. Foley is the funniest math professor. She brings the class' stress level down. She made math fun for me and is crystal clear in her explanations. she will make sure everybody gets a good grade on the exams.
Dr. Foley is a good math teacher. She's a little all over the place but always works out lots of problems on the board. She's nice and fair and very understanding. Go to her and explain your problem and she'll help you out, nice lady. Everything she covers in class is on the test so as long as you take good notes and revise them you'll get an A.
Dr. Foley is a great professor! She is willing to help all who need assistance, the workload is relatively decent, and she's very compassionate about not only her work, but making sure her students do well.
I have taken Dr. Foley for three courses: trig, precal, and stats! She is hands down the greatest math professor at UTD. She teaches the course with examples that are similar to the exam. For stats she allows a cheat sheet! You will do great because she wants her students to do well! Take her! She's also pretty funny!
Best teacher ever.
She made Stats fun. I normally do not like math!
Foley is an amazing statistics professor. Her homework load is very manageable. There are weekly quizzes in class to test if you're understanding the material. Tests contain no surprises and are similar to the homework problems. Do your homework , attend class, and study and you will do great! I'd take this professor again.
She is the best professor at UTD. She is funny and helpful. Every week you need to give quiz which help when you prepare for the midterm and finals. Very clear in explaining concepts. In fact for quiz you can read her notes and do some problems and you are sure to get A. I wish she taught my other courses as well
I made a C- in this class with Choudharry(sp). It was a horrible experience. Enter Dr. Foley. She mentioned on day 1 this class had a scope problem. Throughout the semester she gave us precise indications of what quiz and test material would be over. There were no surprises in this class. She is an extremely fair professor. Take her.
If you show up and pay attention and take notes and don't fall behind it is super easy. If you fall behind you may struggle. The course was fun and was very informative.
She should be taken for every class ! Trust me she is amazing and will curve class grades. She makes every class i've take with her clear to understand. There is no way you can fail her class.
She could do better at explaining certain points on the material. But she's a good teacher. You have quizzes, Online HW, 3 Test. She lets you create a cheat sheet for each quiz, a cheat sheet for the test. She goes over the material that she will test you on, so no surprises on the test. Attend class to learn the material(unless ur self taught).
So I got a B. She speaks like a run-on sentence. Hard to understand her most of the times. I took her before and she did better there, but I guess since this is her first stats class, she kinda jumbled along. I wish she would slow down her speech and emphasize topics that are important instead of getting the information out for the sake of it.
Paces class perfectly, gives a small review of previous lecture at start of each lecture. Hw was a completion grade. Kept lectures problems simple so you can learn the theory and how to use formulas rather than how do math you already know and waste time on long problems. She actually cares. Look at that pepper! ITS ON FIRE. Helps outside of class.
Professor Foley is an amazing teacher. She is very clear on the grading criteria, hw, quizzes, tests and updates the class early and often if there are any changes. Her lectures are really good and she slows down to make sure the students are understanding the concepts. She also does a lot of examples similar to the hw to help the students out GLHF
Dr. Foley is a great professor. She teaches the subject matter well and makes you understand the core concepts. Her lectures emphasize examples similar to the homeworks, quizzes, and exams. The exam reviews are helpful. Go to class if you have trouble understanding stats. The book is a little wordy, but Dr. Foley is there to help.
This class isn't too tough, but don't skip. If you do miss out, refer to the textbook. Do all the homework, you get unlimited attempts so you'll always get a 100. Quizes are open note (you get only one sheet though) and you can bring pre made cheat-sheets to exams. She drops the lowest homework and quiz. Practice though, mistakes are easy to make.
Quite nice, and will continue to help you until you understand. The hardest part about her was trying to understand her accent, but you get used to it after a week or two. She gives you enough work to really learn the material, but doesn't bury you in homework.
AMAZING PROF!!
Best Calculus Prof !! The class is structured so that you see the material twice one in the lecture and once in the problem session. That really helped me learn it well. There are quizzes that are graded by the TA every week. There are 2 exam She has a great review before. She responds to email very fast . GHWs are long dont procrastinate
Best professor you can take for integral! Super helpful, entertaining, and prepares us well
She is seriously one of the best professors I have had for a math class. No book needed. She teaches you everything you need to know in class. Quizzes at the end to make sure you know everything, she helps you if u need it too. Tests are money if u took notes in class and can do the quizzes. Attendance does matter becuz of the daily quizzes.
She was a great professor. Gives lots of examples during class, lets you work through them and then does them on the board. Great way to learn. Very clear during lecture and teaches what will be on the test. Very helpful after class if you have questions.
She skips over complex theorems and gets right to what you need to know to pass the tests and do the homework. Both of those are controlled by the math department, so she's not in charge of grading or content, but she does her best to let students know what to expect. She obviously is proficient in the material and fully enjoys what she does.
She really cares about the students and wants them to do well. Sometimes she makes mistakes during lectures, but she focuses on what is important and what will be on quizzes and tests. She will sometimes tell you what types of problems will be on the tests.
SHE IS AMAZING! I took Sats for life sciences with her and will thank my lucky stars that I had her as a professor. That class is known to be difficult but she makes it easy to understand. I recommend going to class because she will break things down for you step by step. She is very transparent about what you will be tested on. Very funny too.
Dr. Foley was the funniest professor ever! She had an accent but you are able to bare with it. She made calc 2 fun and entertaining to learn it was a hard class but she made it easier
Dr. Foley is the best!!! She made Calc 2 so much fun. She always has stories to tell during class which makes you pay attention in class. Not boring. Calc 2 was a bit hard but she made it easier to learn
Amazing professor as always. Broke down concepts that could've been difficult, easy to understand and in layman's terms. Just focus on taking lecture notes and what she writes on the board and you'll make an easy A. HW has unlimited attempts which is awesome. It was the only 8:30 am class I was willing to take because she was just as good in 2414
Here's how every class goes(in a good way): Recap from last class, lectures about concepts and breaks them down in simple terms, does a simple example, does a hard example, and then had the class do example problems. Why can't all math professors be like her? Her teaching amazing, yet simple, but I don't get why other professor can't teachlikehe
Loves to write equations all over the board but cannot explain things in the least. No curve, no dropped assignments or quiz grades. If you want to struggle through an other wise Easy class, take her. I would listen to the hundreds of other people that recommend Tristan Whalen. Unfortunately for me, its too late.
You do not want to miss class because her lectures make learning easy and enjoyable. She will make you work for your grade, but you will be prepared if you go to class.
One of the best professors I've ever had. Lectures get right to the material and manage to be entertaining. Weekly quizzes (but all the quiz questions are similar to HW so they are easy 100s). Fair exams if you do the HWs, review the quizzes, and come to lectures. Textbook isn't needed but is a gem if you want to learn the material in more depth.
Foley is amazing. She makes calculus fun and easy to understand. I do not think you can pass without coming to the lectures, but she does not force you to come. She knows her stuff, so do not hesitate to visit her during office hours. Also.. she is insanely attractive, so keep your focus on the material:)
Her lectures are clear and informative. She really cares that you do well and teaches all the material in an organized and understanding manner. Definitely take her whenever you have the opportunity. She covers everything you need to know for the exams and is open to explaining anything you need help on.
Lectures are a must for this topic, but Foley makes it completely bearable and truly knows her stuff. She makes the class fun and material easy to understand. Hands down the only reason I passed, she wasn't my professor but she's the better professor so go to her even if you don't have her lecture, it will be worth it.
Definitely the better calc II professor. Take her.
Dr. Foley is the best calc2 professor. For spring17, calc2 was a living hell because Anatoly was the course supervisor and he made the hws and exams impossibly tough. Anatoly wouldn't let her hold reviews for the exam. When she was the course leader for calc2 during the fall, she told her students what to expect on the exams. Dr. Foley is the best
I wouldn't have passed if I didn't take her! My friend skipped Anatoly's class and come to hers so that she could learn. I was constantly writing down notes in her class and not comprehending much (Class was really fast because 2419 was so much material.) But when I study the notes afterwards it was always very clear and good examples for HW.
Dr. Foley was an amazing professor. She explained everything well and was just a fun lecturer in general. She doesn't require a specific textbook, any math textbook will do, and homeworks are posted online.
Professor Foley is the best choice for any math class; her lectures are very easy to understand and she makes sure we follow along by giving us worksheets to practice problems throughout the lecture; exams are also not bad at all, and she's also funny. Would definitely take again!
Great calc 2 professor
She's a good professor - right before each exam she tells you what will be on the exam, which is nice. She stays after class for at least fifteen minutes to answer questions, and almost every class period, we get released early. She is really patient, so if math isn't your best subject you should do okay as long as you try. <3
Dr. Foley is a fantastic calc 2 professor. She gives worksheets for notes every lecture and clearly explains the problem as she works. She's hilarious and tells funny stories to keep you focused. During office hours she's patient and willing to help. Before exams, she tells you the main topics to watch out for.
She's the best. She gives you tips and tricks to finish problems quickly because she's so experienced. Definitely work out the problems in her worksheet.
We created a groupme for all math 1326 classes and all agree that her class is the best and most helpful among all the math 1326 professors. She also gives review and tips before quizzes and exams. Definitely take hers class!!
A lot of people love her worksheets but they can't replace better lecturing. She's an okay prof but she relies on just using the worksheets instead of explaining the materials. I don't mind her trying to show us her preferred method, but when it's different from the way the exam writer does things it makes the exams more difficult.
The best math professor I have ever had! I love her!
She's a great professor and very fun. You just have to show up to class, pay attention, and do all your work and the class is an easy A. The exams are directly reflective of the worksheets and review she does in class.
QUEEN. Take her, shes the best. So sweet and explains the concepts very nicely and clearly.
she's an amazing prof who hands out worksheets and then explains how to do the problems. It may take a while to get used to her teaching style but once you do, she's really easy to understand. She's an amazing prof and she fueled my love for math. she's also really nice and easy to ask questions.
Professor Foley is hands down the best 1326 professor available. She is extremely caring. If you ever have any concerns, just ask her. She is seriously so amazing and such a caring person.
The best teacher for MATH 1326. She is so caring, would always end class early because of how great and quickly she teaches. and gives one bonus point on your overall average if you have the note worksheets she provided. I highly recommend you keep up with homework, as they are easy A's if you take time with them & sign up for PLTL to help you!!!!!
Professor Foley is the best professor for MATH1326. She is so caring and nice. She will give you everything you need for the exams. If you think the TA graded weirdly and took off unnecessary points, she will give them back to you. Professor Foley is not a strict teacher. She is the sweetest person ever.
Math is just a difficult class, but professor foley helped as much as she could. She gave out worksheets and worked out countless problems on the board. She held exam reviews during class time and they were extremely helpful. She is really good at math but can still teach it.
great professor. easy to understand. weekly online homework and printed hw packet weekly. one quiz a week based on the lecture. explains things well and made the class fun.
Professor is nice and humble. Her lecture is organized, the sheets she makes for every class are extremely helpful. She is happy to give you extra points if they are reasonable. Her accent keeps me awake in class. She is the best 1326 professor, I'm glad I took her.
Strong accent but you'll get used to it after the second week of class. She can sometimes skip mental math expecting you to know it. Weekly homework and quizzes and new topic everyday. She teaches the class in the easiest way to understand and would most definitely recommend her. Put effort in class and review the homework for easy A.
Best Calculus professor. I didn't regret taking Professor Foley. Every week in-class quizzes, take-home quizzes, and online homework and 3 exams during the semester. The final exam is cumulative. Worth taking it by professor Foley.
Prof Foley is incredible. Shes sweet and funny. I wish I had more math classes to take because I would pick her every time. There are take-home quizzes due in class and online (MML) every week as well as in-class quizzes every week. There are 3 exams. She makes the topics easy to understand and gives useful shortcuts to problems. TAKE HER!
if you already good at calc2 you may can pass. not teaching anything just solving some questions that they are not related to the exams on the board. she made it harder than it is. math1326
she's so funny and sweet. she goes a little fast but just tell her to slow down and she will. she will explain many times until you understand it. her worksheets are very helpful in completing THQs. bc of corona, exams were on MY MATH LAB. SO HARD ON MY MATH LAB not like the THQs we did. however, im sure exams are way easier in person. good choice!
She is one of the best professors I had, so caring, so knowledgeable, she is a bit fast at first but once you get the pace you will easily understand and get a good grade, the subject is a bit difficult in itself, she tries to make it as simple as she can if u r facing problem talk to her and she will help you. TAKE HER!
A great professor and genuinely wants you to learn. Sometimes she can go a bit fast but she'll help you whenever it's needed if you ever get lost. Teaches by working out examples and going through them. Weekly homework and quizzes as usual, and as long as you do your work and understand the topics you'll be fine.
For all these people giving her a 5/5 rating, that's just because she's NICE and FUNNY. If you want the real thing, her teaching methods are impossible to understand. She's teaching as if she's REVIEWING! Like she expects you to know all the stuff. She's very messy, her notes make no sense cause again she's teaching as if you know it.
Best professor I have had at UTD. Even if your not good at math, she teaches very thoroughly and is very caring when it comes to her students.
I am not sure why she has gotten so many positive reviews. Perhaps it is due to the online semester and having to cram the curriculum to end before Thanksgiving break, but she is not a good professor at all. She rushes through all of her lectures, yells at students for getting the wrong answer, and accuses us all of being cheaters all of the time.
I don't understand why this professor has a good rating here. This is my least liked class. She goes by very fast. 2 quizzes every week after class. She also does not give enough time to process the materials. She gets mad at the students for correcting her when she gets an answer wrong. The class is very test heavy. good luck to those who have her
she should not have any where close to a 4 star review. she is one of those profs get irritated when you ask something more than once. During quarantine she is absolutely the worst professor ive had and is not flexible at all. Would not recommend, i dont know why UTD even hired her.
I dont know why she has such a good rating. She goes through her lessons super fast, she rushes for no reason. Expects you to know everything. She makes so many mistakes. Uses honorlock and then accuses her students of cheating and NEVER APOLOGIZES. You end up learning more from YouTube than her. I dont recommend her for online mode.
Although her homework and test are heavy, if you have good practice and understand the material then you are good to go. I like her class. She taught us some tricks. She is fun sometimes too. But be aware to attend in her lecture class, so you can catch up on the next lecture. Overall, she is a good professor.
Literally my worst class. Uses honorlock, accuses people of cheating (giving everyone anxiety) and then acts like it never even happened. There is way too much homework weekly and she goes too fast during lectures. YouTube lectures will be your best friend if you take this class cause your definitely not learning anything from her.
She is very nice an explains very well. She shows how things work and make it look very simple.
Don't understand all the bad reviews for the fall semester 2020. For the honorlock incident, she sent out specific emails to students that were caught of cheating by the system - she didn't blindly accuse people. She may go fast, but always asks if anyone has questions and students need to speak up if they have questions. She is blunt but good.
Mixed reviews for the fall but here's my take: Class is online so she makes mistakes in her writing and throws us off, skips steps sometimes and we lose track, she rushes to get class done so we can take quiz, but we hate that. content isn't bad if taught well and u can do the hw. uses HONORLOCK, she gave us issues through semester for "cheating"
Professor Foley has a lot of mixed opinions but I really enjoyed her class and felt she did a good job of teaching. She goes over the topic and does many practice problems to help her students understand. She goes a little fast, but it's helpful to watch the recording. Just ask her to slow down if need be.
The hardest class I've ever taken. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt with Fall being online, but no. I could've done a better job as well, but the class was unorganized, reviews not close to exams, and she rushes through lectures to finish. Honorlock for exams, and even accused some of the class of cheating on an exam with no proof.
The class was not easy, but the professor gave many chances to get a better grade at the end of the semester. She cares about her students and always go through whatever the student does not understand. Sometimes she is fast at explaining the material, but that is because there are many topics to cover. I highly recommend her. Lovely Professor.
Professor Foley is an awesome lady and I enjoyed her class. This class was all online this semester and it was the most dysfunctional class I've ever been in. There were errors on almost every assignment. She also uses honor lock and had many issues with that. Professor Foley have struggling students many opportunities to pass at the end of the sem
Awful teacher. Very passive-aggressive in emails and has a ton of mistakes in hw, quizzes and even tests that she ends up having to fix. Very hard to understand her accent and she goes very fast, and she has awful handwriting. The only thing that I liked was that she had very good practice problems to help you with concepts on the hw. Avoid her!
I don't get the good reviews on here, the entire semester her weekly quizzes were always riddled with errors and she was very passive-aggressive in her emails. The reviews were never like the tests and were never given to us with enough time to actually study them. She also uses honor lock and makes the tests way too long with not enough time.
Genuinely confused by all the good ratings. To everyone in 2021- I never write reviews, but I felt like it was my duty to for Foley. She was awful, goes too fast, expects you to know it already, and will get angry when you ask questions. She didn't care about the students learning AT ALL and all the assignments were full of errors. DO NOT TAKE HER!
Professor Foley has been my favorite math teacher at UTD. Her enthusiasm makes learning calculus actually interesting and easy to grasp. She responded to emails almost immediately and was invested in making sure we understood the concepts. I highly recommend taking her class!
DO NOT take this class this Professor. She comes unprepared to class. She makes the class up on the go and makes many mistakes in class, and the quizzes are full of errors. The tests and exams are full of questions that she did not explain in class this seems to be a consequence of her not being prepared for class. FIND ANOTHER TEACHER
I learned material from the textbook first and treated the classes as a review session, which definitely helped. The professor is a good teacher, but she does go pretty fast. If you have questions, don't be afraid to ask because she is understanding. I really liked Professor Foley personally but I understand why others might not have.
She is an amazing professor. she posts her notes online as well, so if you cant make it to class it is ok, but if you do she personally makes sure you understand and are on the path to succeed in class.
She's a good professor. As long as u attend the lectures, do the homework and quizzes, u can get really good scores. She explains in a simplified format and goes through the problems step by step.
Professor Foley may not be understandable at times when she speaks but she is generous and caring for her students. There is homework every week and an online quiz every class. Tests can be tedious but practice can make you perfect. Some of these bad reviews seem to be a result of students doing bad themselves rather than the teacher doing bad.
Rushes through the lecture, doesn't teach the material expects you to "know it" already even on new chapters, the test isn't like the homework or quizzes, and she gets mad when you ask her a question. So confused about these good ratings because in my opinion, I had a bad experience with her. AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS!
She does listen to students about suggestions for the course; however, she does tend to put you in an uncomfortable spot if you do badly on an exam
Do not take this, professor. She is very rude through email and constantly says we don't try hard enough and doesn't help you if you do poorly. The exams were graded harshly compared to Math 1325. If possible, I highly recommend taking this class at Collin or choosing another teacher.
Professor Foley is a great professor! She really cares if her students actually understand the content or not and is always willing to answer any questions. Her lectures are also really easy to understand. (3 exams, 1 Final - replaces lowest exam grade from the other 2, hw every week, concept quizzes: take-home, in-class quizzes taken once a week)
I can't believe the positive reviews this is the worst professor on my schedule. A classic example of quantity over quality. She thinks more equates to better. She crams way to much material into a lecture then tries to speed through it as fast as possible. She has no idea how to communicate an idea start to finish. You will need the tutoring lab.
Easy class and a funny professor. There is one homework every week that takes around 1 hour, a quick and easy online quiz after every class, and an in-class quiz once a week. She always gives hints on the in-class quizzes. I think the people who gave bad reviews are just lazy and don't study lol
Lots of assigments per week. 2 online quizzes, 1 in person quiz, and hw due at the end of each week. She goes very fast, and says "easy right?" for every lecture we do, which I do not like, since it is not easy for everyone and can discourage people. Did good because I am decent at math, but I would rather have taken a different professor.
Dr. Foley is grade, she knows the subject well, and the way she teaches is easy to understand. Practicing assignments is the best way to learn; trying hard to follow along during the class is better for understanding the lectures. Lots of assignments but evenly weighted and they are not hard.
Calculus is easier to understand the more you practice it, but the professor made it impossible to build a rhythm. No extra work, interactive labs, and not enough practice problems. Also, no tutoring is available on campus for this class. /recommend taking it right after MATH 1325.
Foley is great! Make sure to fully complete all assignments and attend lectures. If you do not understand something, then definitely ask her and she will help. If you are on top of all the content, then you'll do great in her class!
Dr. Foley was a very sweet woman who cared about her students. She did a good job teaching. She'd occasionally go on brief tangents and talk about really crazy things she has done/experienced, which made class entertaining. The homework can be tough, but as long as you pay attention in class, you'll be ok. It was a good, straightforward class.
The course was stressful, but I took 1325 3 seems prior (don't recommend). Not a fan of the entire math dept, but credit to Foley for probably being the best it has to offer. The midterm crushed most students (in all prof/sections) chance for an A, and many dropped. It was about surviving after that. She's your best option, but manage expectations.
Do not take Foley if you're slow at math like me; she is a horrible professor, and her explanations do not make any sense. She is not willing to work with her students at all. For one semester, her lectures confused me more than they taught me anything. Only take her if she is the only professor left for math.
She's really nice and makes it easy for students by giving them notes and recording lectures. Relatively easy class as long as you pay attention and keep up with the homework. Quizzes are exactly like the homework.
TAKE HER!! She is great at what she does and thoroughly explains any questions you may have. Calc 2 was a breeze because of her.
Dr. Foley, I know you read these because you told our class, but that does not affect my rating AT ALL! I LOVED YOUR CLASS SO MUCH!! You were one of my favorite professors this semester, and I will miss your class. I loved all of your little stories. Please take Foley; she will help you succeed.
Professor Foley is amazing!! One of the best math teachers I have ever had. She explains everything really well so go to lecture. Sometimes she is a little fast, but she posts her notes. She also gave us bonus quizzes and a curve. And she's really funny!
Prof. Foley is a gem! Her class is a must-take - she explains concepts clearly and the homework is great practice. unstuck AI made study prep a breeze.
IF you can , take the MATH classes at Community College, it is ridiculously hard here, but if you have to take for pre-requisites take her she will help you pass.
This professor is not very nice, every single time I went to her for help, she belittled me and made me feel dumb for not understanding her lectures. She is always saying “easy right?” about things that are extremely difficult, but hey, I have not always been the best at math. I always dreaded this class- but she is sometimes funny.
I am beginning to think she writes her own positive reviews. With nearly every interaction I have had with this professor, she has been disrespectful and seems unwilling to listen to any student's opinion regarding the course. I have never written a review on here, but feel forced to after experiencing a semester with Foley. Save your money.
Professor Foley is solid, she presents the content on paper but gives us digital notes to follow along. She gives us shortcuts to formulas and enjoys teaching math. As head of the Math 1326 department, she knows what's going to be on quizzes/exams and is very familiar with the content. The only criticism people have of her is her blunt personality.
